Jack's a junk yard that has a lot of cars to pick and save... As long as you know what your getting yourself in to. Picking in a junkyard is inherently dangerous and should only be done by fearless people and mechanics only. If you come in here to pick, bring your tools, a equally brave buddy, some bug repellant and some grit. your also going to get dirty so don't be surprised when you come out with several layers of dirt and grease. I have come here for years on scrap yard scrounging missions. I have always found that they have a lot of cars and being able to pull your own parts is a big plus. Not many places will let you do this any more. Their prices are very reasonable, sometimes negotiable, and they have always treated me with courtesy and respect. Be careful crossing the narrow bridge over the railroad tracks that leads to the yard. I give them five stars. read more

Needed a new airbag control module for my 2000 odyssey - looked on car-part.com and saw that Jack's had a few in stock. I showed up, and they actually had one right on the shelf. It was a bit pricey ($100, which is maybe $30 more than than average scrapyard cost for the part), and would've been the same if I pulled it from the car myself - but 500 miles later the thing still works and recently passed inspection, so at least for me it was well worth the money. Also super professional and helpful guy behind the counter. All positive! Their web said they had wheels for a 2006 Civic. I drove there and the wheels really were there. I bought two. Quick and Easy. He showed me where the car was on a map. I took the wheels off the car. They removed the tires quickly (no line on a Sat. AM) and at no charge. Gatekeeper woman was pleasant & helpful. I used to go to this junkyard 10 years ago and it was pretty good. Came back here and wow this place is honestly just filled with frames of cars. All the engines and front ends are missing. Lots of old cars from 80s and 70s. Most of the cars here should be crushed and recycled as there is no good parts. I'm still shocked this place is in business. Compared to hollands which is in Billerica they have a way better selection and cars coming in daily full cars! They list their prices far below the market average in order to show their listings first in searches. When people are shopping for used parts, of course they want the CHEAPEST price, otherwise they would buy new. But then these guys charge an insane amount for shipping, claiming it's freight, so they can assume to charge whatever they like. In this case, it was over 100% of the cost of the actual item. What if you are nearby and decide you want to pick it up yourself? Well then they drag their feet and never remove the shipping charge, still expecting you to pay it up front. Who knows what will happen when you show up to the yard? Maybe they will suddenly be out to lunch? Returning in an hour? They are not reputable, but what do you expect from a junkyard? read more

First call I was asked to call back the next day because they where to busy. I called back the next day to inquire about a hub cap THEY posted on Carpart.com. I was told they would inspect the part ( which thay had listed as A-1 no damage) and they would call me back. Day 3 no call back, so I called a 3rd time. This time I was assured they would get back to me with an answer. That never happened. Day 4, my 4th call on a hubcap. Now I'M informed they don't even have 1. With insurance companies holding shops accountable for rental days, then forcing those shops to pursue used "A" quality parts because irresponsible yards list parts they have never even inspected. I needed an obscure piece for an obscure car and they had what I needed for a fair price. Some places won't even sell you some of a brake caliper but Jack's got me my caliper bracket for reasonable money and I got to finish a job that would have taken days to order in new/reman parts for otherwise. I went there for a used part that I called to confirm was still available. I drove an hour to get to the place (traffic contributed to drive time) and it turns out the part was sold TWO WEEKS earlier. They didn't update their inventory. I was sent around the yard for other possible options, but those vehicles were totally ready for the crusher....no usable parts on them. I wasted time, money, and effort for nothing. Overhearing other conversations inside the building left me the impression they have little inventory management. By the way, my "missing part" is still listed online as available after 2 days. Most cars were just depleted frames. Can't recommend this yard for anything. read more

Waste of time! Place is so disorganized. Called for a rim on a specific car, they said they had it still on the car. Drove an hour and a half to find out they didn't have the rim, they never had it. These people are a bunch of scum bags. My boyfriend and I purchased a car for $1000 that needed some frame work done. While waiting for the car to be towed to the repair shop in, the car was "broken into" and the catalytic converter was ripped out of the car. They refused to replace the converter and only offered to pay $800 back for the car. Meanwhile, we were unaware that there was any break-in so we had the frame work done, which costs an additional $350. The guy at the repair shop informed us that there was an issue with the catalytic converter. When questioning Jack's at first, they claimed they were unaware that anything had happened, although the guys at the repair shop said the driver at Jack's was the one who told him about the issue in the first place!! When Jack's was confronted about this, they claimed the break in didn't happen on the property.. Very sketchy and ridiculous! THANKS FOR NOTHING! read more

If I could give it less stars I would. I ordered a fuel tank for a 2003 Kia Optima on 11/05/2013, finally on 11/09/2013 I received a fuel tank, however it was for a Nissan Altima. While waiting for them to get the right fuel tank I was able to fix the one that came out of the car, so I cancelled the order and told them to come pick up the fuel tank & refund my money. On 11/12/2013 they send a driver up with the right fuel tank, after I told them I no longer needed it. When I explained this to the driver they tried to take the tank they delivered with out giving me a refund. Today I am running around talking to the guys there trying to figure out when I'm going to see my money & them pick up the tank... Just don't do business with them, it's not worth the headaches! read more

Make sure you pay attention to that obscure sign that is sideways on the open gate so you can't notice it going in. It says to check in any parts that you are bringing with you. I didn't notice it. They then check your bags on the way out and if they find even your own broken parts they will charge you top dollar for your broken parts or threaten to call the cops and also charge you for towing your car away from their lot. Bunch of wankers. I drop by one day to pick up a part for my car that turns out to be in a locked car that nobody can find the keys to. Told to come back the next day and they'd either find the keys or jimmy the door open for me. Okay, fine, it's close to quitting time and everybody wants to go home to their family. The next day I show up and go to the main office to see if anyone hunted down the keys. I get pointed out to the front lot and told to look for someone working there. I flag down this short fat dark-haired guy driving one of those souped-up forklifts (the one who told me to come back) and ask him what we're gonna do. He tells me there's nothing anyone can do and when I press for more help, he totally flies off the handle, telling me "you don't want me to come down offa this wreck-ah," like I'd driven all that way to square off with some blue-collar schmuck. Went to this place the other day to find a particular door for my vehicle. Said they had it but brought the wrong thing. Then told to go look for it and no one seemed to have a clue where I should look which isn't that big of a deal. It's a junkyard after all. But I approached two different people to ask a simple question (out in the yard area). Both were extremely rude and NASTY! I felt threatened actually but not that I was scared. I just walked away from them. Then after sea ruching through for a while I came to my senses and said to myself, "Even if I found the exact door I needed I would not give these scumbags my money." Then I left, NEVER, NEVER to return again! Plus they wanted $200 for the one door I found that was dented and rusty. I write almost no reviews on any sites but THIS BUSINESS, and this experience drew my ire! I implore you, advise you DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. They are either indifferent and clueless (which I can deal with) or extremely nasty and rude (which I will NOT TOLERATE from any damn business!). STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I wish I could give this a -1 rating, don't waste your time here.. either buy the part you're looking for new or go to a different junk yard. I came across their website stating they had 1 Audi A4 turbo super charger in a white 2007 Audi. I decided to not buy the part new for $1500 considering I'll be buying a new car in a couple months so there's no point to invest on a car I'll be selling. Anyways, I called and they nicely told me they would put my part on hold and I could come in anytime of the week to get it and that's what I did. The experience was absolutely terrible, I walked in and they told me to meet a guy out back that had the part, they then told me they had 3 more (not the one in the white Audi) I asked the man out back if I could look at all 3 different parts and he looked hesitant but remained quiet for the majority of the time. One by one I examined each part, 2 of the turbo super chargers wheel did not even spin when I tried moving it with my finger.. the last one he showed me I didn't even have to waste a second looking at it was already way past it's point of functioning (the wheel didn't move for this one either). The man kept reassuring me that the parts we're fine, I decided to rock all of them back and forth slowly and sure enough you can see the wheel tilt back and forth (which is a huge sign that the part is no good). I told the man that all 3 should be taken off the shelves because they don't work or won't last past a lifetime of 4-6 months, he just shrugged and stayed quiet, he kept saying he didn't know why the wheels weren't moving. I felt like I was speaking to a toddler, if you know the parts are no good then why sell them to these people and then try to feed them bullshit? I finally went to the front desk and asked the man "Jose Jr" to see the last turbo supercharger that I originally drove down to see, he rolled his eyes and said that all the parts come with "warranty" then I replied yes "warranty of 3 months and then you're screwed over" then he had the audacity to say "Ma'am you don't have to buy the part here, go buy it new.. they're 10 years old what do you except"? then he continued to talk argue with me, are you kidding me? What a joke. He said the same thing as the other guy "he didn't know why the wheels weren't moving" I called bullshit as soon as I walked in. Another employee said the wheels aren't moving because "they're frozen"... I just wanted to laugh, the wheels aren't moving because they're no good and they're deteriorating and you know this! They finally brought me to the white Audi that they posted on their website for the turbo supercharger and what surprise did I get? A totaled Audi A4 with a turbo super charger that has been crushed by the impact of the accident hahahahaha that is a prime example of switch and bait. I'm glad that as a women I have a lot of knowledge when it comes to vehicles because many women don't and this is the exact type of place that take advantage of those type of women. If I didn't have any proper knowledge with cars I would have walked in grabbed the part they put on hold for me, payed the $300 and walked out with a trashed part that they knowingly sold to me that does not work. This was a waste of a 40 minute drive there and a 40 minute drive back, it was my first time there and definitely my last. For their sake I'm glad I didn't purchase anything and left happily empty handed because I would have gotten my attorneys involved and this place shut down and have them sued for every single penny that they are worth. Again any women that don't have any knowledge with cars, bring your mechanic, your husband, your boyfriend or whoever and make sure you're not screwed over by these guys.. or just avoid this place all together. I speak for men too, if you are clueless when it comes to cars just bring someone. They don't care about you or your business, they just want your money. I gladly drove to Audi right after for the turbo charger and spent the $1500 and I couldn't be happier. These guys are crooks, as a young female like myself you are the exact type of customers they prey on. I am just making it aware for others because It would be extremely unfortunate if someone went in with their last $300 to spare and bought one of those parts and couldn't afford to buy it new or go somewhere else because they aren't in a stable financial situation. These guys are awesome!!! I was here earlier for a side mirror replacement and I've never received better treatment. The young man that helped me went an extra mile to look for the right replacement for my car model despite the fact that it was past closing time. He also attached it back on afterwards! They have really gone downhill fast. I have been buying used parts from them for over 25 years and never had a problem with any of the many engines and transmission I bought but this last one was a piece of crap. Noticed the manifold bolt and crankshaft sensor was broken but because I have always had good luck decided to take a chance on the engine. Turned out after running engine for a minute one of the lifters came shooting out the valve cover and of course i'm not going to remove the whole engine to return it so had to put my old head on to make it work...lots of extra time I don't have. read more
