Peter really looked after us when we had an urgent brake problem and couldn't have been more gracious.

A deeply disappointing experience -- would not recommend!…read more I moved from Washington to Massachusetts in the summer of 2025, and a few months later I finally decided it was time to look for a new car -- or at least a reliable used one. After months of searching and comparing options, I turned to CarFax to find something trustworthy. That's when I came across the Hyundai Kona that I genuinely fell in love with the moment I saw it on December 31, 2025. It felt like the perfect match after a long, exhausting search. I went to the dealership, asked all the right questions, and did everything a careful buyer is supposed to do. On January 6, 2026, after putting $2,000 down, I drove the car home believing I had finally made a solid, responsible purchase. I truly thought I was starting a new chapter with a dependable vehicle. Unfortunately, what followed tells a very different story. I'm already paying about $700 out of pocket for solenoid replacements and an oil change because the shop found white sludge in the engine. This is on a car I just bought from this dealership. Their "complimentary" oil change means nothing when the vehicle clearly wasn't properly inspected in the first place. I didn't buy this car blindly. I test‑drove it, asked questions, even had my fiancé on FaceTime asking the salesperson things directly. The moment I reached out about the check‑engine codes the car developed, the communication stopped. No reply, no concern, no accountability. This experience has convinced me to avoid dealerships entirely from now on. If you're considering buying a "certified" used car from them, bring your own mechanic, because their 130‑point inspection feels like nothing more than a sales pitch. Even the manager who finalized my paperwork gave me the same scripted lines about pricing and future repairs. None of it matched the reality of what I'm dealing with now. I expected payments under $300; instead, I'm paying almost $400 for a car that needed engine work almost immediately. The warranty has been useless, and the dealership has shown no interest in making things right. If they truly cared about customers, they would stand behind what they sell and offer at least a year of coverage for issues that show up right after purchase. I do not recommend this business. This was my first dealership purchase in years, and it will absolutely be my last. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the disappointment.

In the financing dept, we were sold a warranty Fidelity warranty services ( look it up has a solid 1 rating). They sell it as though it's related to Volvo. It's not. On another note, when a family member gave the service dept less than a 10 for service, the service member whose last name is Jaffarian (so likely related to owner) called my family member on his cell to tell him agressively that unless he rated them 10 not to come back to Jaffarian for service. Would never set foot in there again. We have purchased many Volvo's over the years. Now using another dealership and have had positive results.

Bob the manager in Volvo service said that it got a sticker so it's not a safety concern and that it's a high milage car so they will not replace. This is stuff that was missed by their techs but now it's my problem Why didnt they say they back this vehicle due tonhigh milage? Wouldn'thave bought it if that was the case...just make sure you have vehicle checked out by your mechanic before signing anything....nice treatment for a repeat customer. NEVER AGAIN THANK YOU JAFFARIANS!

For example, I went in to buy a battery sensor that I know costs around $105 everywhere else, and even Mopar's own websites offer discounts that make it cheaper. But this dealer assumed that because I'm the vehicle owner, I wouldn't know the real price, so they marked it up by about 20%. If they do this with something as simple as a battery sensor, I can't imagine what they do with bigger repairs or vehicle sales. I do not recommend this place at all.

Unfortunately due to the holidays and me negotiating the final value of my totaled truck and the adjuster getting sick, almost three weeks went by. The day we actually finalized the outcome with my insurance company, I received a call from them that they sold the truck to someone else and that they are giving me my deposit back. This was done without a final discussion with me to find out what my intention's were. When I received the call I obviously was upset and told the saleswoman that I wanted to talk to her manager, she basically hung up the phone on me and then proceeded to shut her phone off, ignoring all my calls and messages. I called the dealership about 15 times leaving messages for the sales manager and their financial office, it took them over 24 hours before they finally got back to me, all they did is say that another manager sold the truck to someone else and there is nothing that can be done. Meantime, five business days later i still don't have my deposit back. Horrible costumer service, I truly feel bad for people that buy their cars there and have to deal with them for service.

After test driving the car and feeling confident in the purchase, I proceeded to fill out and sign the necessary paperwork with the finance department, believing everything was in order. However, I was later asked to sign a new set of documents with the finance manager, many of which appeared to be the same as those I had already signed. I mentioned this to the finance manager and also pointed out that the vehicle price listed on the new paperwork was higher than the amount on the original purchase agreement. When I questioned the discrepancy, he dismissed it as being related to my trade-in, since I am currently upside down on my existing vehicle. Trusting the process, I went ahead and signed the revised documents. Before submitting the paperwork to my credit union, I asked my boyfriend to review everything. We discovered that the price of the vehicle had been increased from the original $29,590 to $31,950--a $2,360 markup. To make matters worse, the online listing had been changed after the fact to $31,990, making it appear as though I was receiving a small discount. ( I have screen shots of the original price alongside the VIN number all timestamped from when I went to the dealership and the change of price after I signed the documents.) When we called to inquire about the changes, we were given conflicting explanations. Eventually, after speaking with the general manager, we were told that $4,000 had been added to the vehicle price to make the financing offer "look better to the bank." This explanation was deeply concerning, especially given that this information was never disclosed during any part of the process. I ultimately chose not to proceed with the purchase. As a customer, I felt misled and taken advantage of--particularly as a woman navigating a challenging financial situation. This experience has left me extremely disappointed and disheartened.

I was going to be picking up the car in a couple of days of meeting with them but found that insurance was completely screwing me for a policy in my name. It was during my break at work that a called, I was working a double that day. When I left work, the salesman I had dealt with, Kenny, had called me four times, all with the same reason of just urging me to call him back. I intended to call him the following morning as the office was closed at this time, but he beat me to it leaving another message saying to give him the respect of a call back. I called just to have him tell me he got the rate down by fifty dollars a month, when I said i still couldn't afford it, he said "if I can find a car for 1500$ that I get to pass inspection, will that work?" To "get" to pass inspection?! He then went on to ask me how often I work. I informed him I work a full schedule including four doubles in a row and only one day off on Sunday. To which he replied "do you really need the Sunday off?" and then put me on hold for me to listen to him take another call. This guy is a jerk. Talk about respect. I was pleased in the beginning but now I know where not to go seeing as they care about nothing more than selling you anything you'll take.
