It makes the entire experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Additionally, despite advertising leather cleaning services, they refused to take in a leather item, which was frustrating and confusing. Personally, I would request a quote in writing. See the picture for the response the owner personally messaged me on Yelp after I posted the above paragraph. (She also yelled at me on the phone.) It's their job to give accurate and transparent pricing.

I was told to pick it up at a certain time, but due to some sort of miscommunication, by the time I arrived the store had already closed early because of the holiday. Since Thanksgiving was the very next day, I figured I was out of luck and started mentally preparing to find a different dress to wear. I called the store anyway and somehow managed to get in touch with the owner. He explained that they had closed early because of Thanksgiving, which I completely understood. But when I told him my situation, he did something I absolutely did not expect. He said he was about 40 minutes away, but insisted on turning around and coming back to the store just so I could get my dress. He drove all the way back, opened the shop for me, and then had to drive another 40 minutes again afterward. I honestly couldn't believe it. That level of customer service is incredibly rare these days. He went so far out of his way to help me, especially right before a major holiday. Truly 10/10 service. Additionally, I had other pairs of old jeans that didn't fit as well as it used to due to the aforementioned weight loss. I was about to donate them when someone told me that dry cleaners can alter the waist size. When they had me wear the older jeans to get an idea, they said they could do one pair, but the other would look weird if their friend did the job. I'm wearing the one pair that their friend altered, and it fits and feels amazing. I don't know if anyone will be able to tell they were however sizes bigger than when I first bought them. The new jeans I had them alter fit really well and now is at a comfortable length where my shoes and jeans meet. Price wise, the husband told me over the phone that to alter the new jeans would be $15 each, but when I came in to have them measure the jeans, they told me it was $17 a pair. I just don't understand why they would quote me one price on the phone but charge me a higher price in-person. I guess we both won in the end. They got some business and I got my needs met. DO NOT USE! I took in a very expensive shirt worn once to be cleaned for a wedding in two days. The worst part was they had stapled the receipt to my shirt and when they pulled off the identifying tag to ring me up the staple put two holes in my shirt. I had already paid before I saw the shoulder tears and they said the holes were there when I brought it in, they were not, and refused to do anything. Would not give me my money back and the manager was extremely rude. My partner went back to show how the staples on the covering plastic lined up with the holes in the shirt and the manager smirked and said absolutely nothing. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. Who needs a business that charges to ruin your clothes and then is rude when you aren't happy with that. Check for another cleaner.
