I am from Sonora and we used to drive from our town to Jackson for Walmart, the meat store and a few other places and go to Teresa's for dinner. Last February we had an unbelievable experience when I shopped at the store and my husband picked me up, this bearded old guy about 75, who was the cart collector my husband saw him out there collecting them when he dropped me off. This disgusting, visious man yelled at us when I came out of the store and I got in our car. He screamed at us for when my husband drove up and picked me up as I just opened the door to get in the car. This employee hasn't heard of the DISABLED???I am very disabled and have the papers in my purse to prove it which verifies why I have a blue card that I hang in my car when parking in a disabled spot. This employee yelled at my spouse for stopping to pick me up. We even parked at the farthest part of the storefront but no customers came out. He outshouted my husband and said he wanted to kick his butt. My husband said lets just leave. I complained to a person on the phone at the store. She was to report it to the manager and used another clerk to talk to me pretending to be manager I could tell. I even called the main office in Bentonville to complain. A man with an accent said he will give the report to the main customer service manager and get back to us. He never called back. Nobody did. Now, this employee should be FIRED. I want to contact the main Disability Dept. in our state to let them know that your store doesn't feel it has to honor the laws of the state of giving the disabled people their rights. I can hardly walk and had a knee procedure shortly after the incident. I never got an apology from anyone. I just want you to know if I was manager he would be gone, fired that day before he causes a lawsuit to your store. I have never gone back to Walmart in Jackson and I really enjoyed your store maybe 6 times a year we would go. It is better than the Sonora store. I have never been treated like this being disabled. Don't mind waiting when a place is busy, but standing around and having to look for assistance because all of a sudden no one is available and it's like a ghost town is frustrating. Curbside pickup is literally the only way you can shop here because every little thing is locked up. I'm surprised the food isn't locked up by now. Half the employees can't speak English, are temporary so they don't know anything or just tell you to go on the app and look. Self checkout is a joke...if you want to monitor people checking out, go to an EMPTY checkout aisle and do the job. This place is getting worse every year. Update-went here a few days ago. Extremely busy. 14 checkout aisles and only 2 were open. Store manager standing around doing nothing, you have the slow elderly people at checkout or can't see or read anything. This is by far the worst Wal Mart. They are constantly out of stock on basic items they also constantly cancel or reschedule deliveries!

There's something different about this Wal-Mart. It's smaller, more cramped, and less well-stocked than your average Wal-Mart. It seemed darker than most of its sister stores are. I'm not sure whether this was due to poor lighting, tall aisles, or both. My friend and I stopped by late at night to pick up candy and candles. She needed candles to complete a gift, and I was... stoned. I helped my friend pick out candles, pillows, and pillowcases. As we were walking towards the front, she remembered that she needed cat food. No matter how many times I offered to go grab a cart, she insisted that we didn't need one. There was a lot of cat food in the store, but none of it was on the shelves. It was still piled up on pallets. After a good five minutes of searching for cat food on the shelves, I finally climbed up one of the stacks, and grabbed a bag of Meow Mix. My friend actually wanted the more expensive brand (Blue Buffalo), but it looked too difficult for either of us to access, and we couldn't find any employees nearby to help us. In the bakery area, we picked out a few items to have for breakfast the next day, including mini blueberry muffins, a raspberry cream cheese danish cake, and coffee K-cups. (We didn't care for the cake, but half of the muffins disappeared before we fell asleep.) On the way to the register, we found the Valentine's aisles, and picked out raspberry creme Kit-Kats, chocolate hazelnut Piroulines, Valentine's Dots, and a few other things. (We may have gone a bit overboard.) The cashier was nice, and even put up with my friend running off to grab more items as he was scanning her purchases. Overall, it's a pretty small store, but we more or less found what we were looking for. read more

Not approving an employees time off request 4 months in advance and not giving a reason is bullshit. Everyone is entitled to a vacation and gave ample time to get adjusted for that. The Associate at this Walmart, Jim, was very rude, irrational, and unprofessional during our recent visit in the store. When I asked to speak to the "Manager" another friendly associate in the store sent Laura over and as I explained the situation her reaction was that she couldn't care less. Right after she went directly up to Jim where my mom happened to be continuing her self check out and she overheard Laura making a mockery of my complaint to Jim. Can't punish the business for one horrible lady. I had to push the call button for an employee to come open the nicotine gum cabinet. She approached me and I said hello. Crickets! She was struggling with the glass door so I assisted her. "Damn, you almost cut off my hand" I said sorry and she said "are you? ". "Lady you have a serious attitude" "No,you do". I said I'll just find a manager. I talked to higher up and she said she'll take to the lady. The lady walks up as I'm leaving towards the register to pay for my item. She says to me "Did you tell the truth?" Now I'm a liar? And we were pushing the same direction on the glass so it wouldn't have cut off her hand. This Walmart is the worst one I've ever been in. Staff is stocking in the middle of the day, blocking isles and they're not happy about helping customers. A good percentage of their products haven't been stocked or just haven't been ordered. Save yourself a trip and just order online or go out of town. At approximately 1800 hours on 01/18/2021 I was purchasing my items at the self checkout with my family. The front exits employee named "Allen" was paying close attention to my items and me. After purchasing, I displayed my receipt to "Allen" in which he stopped me and began looking through my cart throughly. He then pointed at every single thing ensuring it was on the receipt. I then asked him is he really thoroughly checking my items, he then stated "Yep". I exited the establishment and watched him scan every customers receipt and let them go without any care. I went back into the establishment and requested "Allen" that I wanted to speak with the store manager. He then made way to a "Front half assistant manager" and she told me to go to the customers relation to get my info there. The employees are discriminating and were absolutely demoralizing against me and my family. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. This store is one of the WORST Walmart's that I've encountered. I live in the area and am in the store a couple of times a month, so I am qualified to make these comments based on a great deal of experience with this particular store. Today was no exception. There is a woman (Barbara) working the self checkout who should simply not be doing customer service work. She is nasty to customers and acts like she really hates her job. Her skills in handling simple customer situations is deplorable. I referred today's complaint to a "manager" (he makes $11/hr instead of $10/hr) but I could tell by his listening skills, and reaction, that nothing will be done about this awful employee. If this weren't one of the only shopping options in this area, and a Walmart, this store would likely go out of business. What a horrible customer experience. read more

I will never shop at another Wal-Mart again. An employee at this Wal-Mart threatened my life and the supervisor said she couldn't do anything about it... only speak to her. I contacted corporate and they said it was a store manager issue. After a month of trying to get him by phone and in person I finally spoke with him. It seemed like he was hoping that I would just give up and forget about the incident. I had to call multiple times to give him info that he already had and pretended he didn't. Then he finally opened an "investigation" but she stills works there today. Be prepared for bad customer service and employees to lie to you saying that the store manager isn't there. Don't even waste your time filing a complaint because the employees know nothing will happen to their jobs. That's why there are so many rude employees there. As far as Walmarts go, you could do a lot worse. This is the "luxury" Walmart, if there is such a thing. It's not that they do anything different or fancier than your average Walmart. They just benefit from a far more rural location. Most Walmarts have a reputation for unpredictable crowds, a lack of helpful employees and a rogues gallery of customers, but this location is almost entirely the opposite. My latest visit was on Black Friday. While people were sleeping overnight in the cold and clawing each other's eyes out over big screen TVs down the hill, it was just another shopping day here. I parked ten spaces from the door, casually strolled the aisles and always had an employee in eyesight when I had questions. So why 3 stars? Well, it's Walmart. They aren't going to get any props from me for being outstanding to their employees or their customers. read more

The Auto Service Center is run very well by an employee named Michael. They have the oil change prices by far and the staff although new is very well trained. A shout out to Ben & Mike, new employees working with Michael. The staff installed new wipers purchased at Walmart free of charge and I received an oil change requiring an extra quart with a new filter for under $30. It took about 30 minutes which I spent shopping for groceries at Walmart. read more

I am very impressed with the men in the automotive center. I am not from this area and called ahead of time from the Bay Area to make sure they had tires that fit my car. Upon my arrival, I made my request and was off to shop while waiting for my car. When I came back to check on my car, to my dismay, I was advised they only had 3 of the 4 tires I needed for a complete set. The gentleman assisting me called a manager, explained the situation, and was able to get me more expensive tires at the cost of Walmart. Bravo! Nicholas and Zachary were great. She asked kindly for the employees help saying that she had searched for someone that works their for over a half an hour and no one seemed to care... she just needed help finding an item and he completely ignored her and I finally made him give her his attention. This review is specifically for their pharmacy department! I meant to give a review on the link that was provided on the receipt they gave me but it was thrown away and I couldn't find the link but this department deserves so much praise! I usually don't take the time to give reviews but the customer service that I experienced was one that stood out to me. Not only was I from out of town but I had the most difficult day going through body aches and pain. When I arrived to the pharmacy I was greeted by a very nice gentleman who promptly helped me out. Then the pharmacist explained the antibiotics to me and asked if I had my insurance card with me, which I didn't. They helped me get the best deal for my antibiotics, which they did not have to do but they went out of their way to help me out, which I was extremely grateful for. It has been hard during this pandemic, so the fact that these two individuals took the time to help me when I was in pain and financially helped me was so amazing! Shopping for COVID-19 then this is your place! Despite signs before you enter the store telling you masks are mandatory and it's a state mandate 30% of people are not wearing masks. When I challenged the worker at the front door he just shrugged his shoulders and said they can't do anything. They can ask for my receipt, turn me away if I'm barefoot but no mask is not even challenged. Absolutely unacceptable and I walked out NEVER to return to this Walmart.
