There is no air condition but in such cool weather a fan in a room is good enough. Room condition is pretty good. Clean and cozy. I like here. Parking is convenient here. Breakfast is not included but the dining room is a good place to enjoy mountain scenery here. Recommend. read more

This was my first time staying at Jackson Lake Lodge and it was good. The rooms were clean and organized. The view form this hotel was absolutely breathtaking! The only thing that was not very pleasant was that the people who were working the front desk were very rude and not helpful to find activities in Jackson to do. The service at the restraint was also not very helpful. The pool was nice and so was the restaurant. read more

The Lodge is showing its age. Lots of obvious need for just maintenance. Housekeeping was lousy. The room was dirty. The little things weren't attended to. They didn't have staffing to accommodate the number of guests they booked. Getting dinner was a contact sport. I won't go again. read more

Rooms in the main building are nice, but the cabins (attached) all have slightly bigger rooms. Just liked the cabins more. No A/C. Cabins cooler in summer. The main lodge has a "GRAND" feeling of wealth and luxury smack in the middle of the woods. Although your really just in the woods, it feels nice to relax in such a grand setting. Restaurants are good. The retro type dinner is nice and I like the food. Great views of the Teton range and in AM hrs. your lucky to see resident moose in the viewing area just below the main grand deck area. 200 USD ++. Nice pool also!! warm and large enough to swim in Great pizza shop (open late) just couple miles north of lodge on teh main road!! Really really-good pizza! read more

The staff members I encountered were exceptional. My tour group stopped here for a lunch on September 18th. I had a major nose bleed, and after it stopped I sat on a bench outside the ladies room with a tissue to my nose while ensuring that it did not start again. A staff member stopped, went to get the EMT (Tim?) then went and bought a tube of vaseline to prevent further nosebleeds. He would not take any money for this. He introduced himself to me, unfortunately I have forgotten it his name. Tim was very helpful and considerate. During this time at least two other staff members stopped to express concern. My husband and I LOVED this place. The only reason I give it four out of five is because we are young newly weds with not a lot of money and I wish they had cheaper options along with what they currently offer. But it was our anniversary so we figured we could splurge for a night. We loved our room, the food, the view from the lodge, the bar, everything! We even saw a momma grizzly and her three cubs running across the field from the nice back patio at the lodge and the view from the patio of the Grand Tetons is amazing! Probably the worst meal I've ever had in my life, at least the top 2. This was the lunch menu at the bar and not only was the selection terrible but what was delivered to us was a disgrace. Dear God, this is one step above sleeping on the ground! Cabins are antiquated, dirty, and run down. Room maintenance is virtually non existent on a daily basis. Bathroom is very dirty! High end restaurant is too over rated to even begin to explain. ( The lobster bisque had to be Campbell's soup! ) Staff are erratic, some are great and some are horrid. I would never stay here if there was a good motel 6 near by. The convention accommodation was very good. Food was higher end convention quality and the staff for those events were all good. The meeting rooms were good to better in quality. The views are unbelievable or no-one would ever stay here! A true monopoly with no probable chance of change. Too price,y too dirty, too low rent for me..... I will go camping and save the hundreds we spent to stay here! read more

They serve Starbucks coffee here! Not an actual Starbucks but more of a kiosk. Only Starbucks in Yellowstone/Teton parks. Got my iced americano fix after some terrible coffee in Yellowstone. Great place to have breakfast while enjoying the amazing view! read more

I give two stars ONLY because of the beautiful view of the Tetons from the large windows in the main lodge. Everything else was rubbish! The "cottages" which looked & sounded so nice on the website are old motor inn rooms sitting in a parking lot. For $340 per night we had no view, other than the parking lot, a small room with no a/c, no fan, no tv, no mini fridge & no microwave & certainly no patio or balcony. Our block of "cottages" (really, they should call them what they are - attached old motel rooms - they're not fooling anyone, only disappointing unknowing guests) sat on a dirt covered lot with sparse blades of grass here & there - no landscaping or natural beauty whatsoever). Carpet smelled, the bar restaurant had the worst service ever and absolutely terrible food! Both check-in & check out personnel were unfriendly & snotty. All park properties are run by xanterra a company who won the bid - not by a national park Assoc. - it is a for profit business. It's a shame & a costly scam! Big plus - went on early morning breakfast lake cruise for $47 pp - it was fabulous! The breakfast is setup & cooked on elk island with great views. The food & staff were really wonderful! Really personable, friendly & nice. Highly recommend. read more

We thought our view cottage room was overpriced --- until we saw the million-dollar view from our upstairs balcony.

This was the last place we stayed on our 16 day vacation. It was very nice, upper level from other places we stayed. Nice beds, nice staff. Free WiFi, no tv, which isn't a bad thing. And the views are amazing! We stayed in the lodge, not the cabins. The restaurants had decent food but wow they were expensive! Family of 4 at the causal diner was always $50 a meal. For an upper class lodge I expected the rooms to be cleaned daily. The first day was perfect! But the second day no one came, on the third we finally had to ask for some clean towels. Our toilet also ran. Oh, and the sink in the bathroom, the faucet was so close to the counter top that you couldn't even rinse your hands off. The pool was nice for the kids. They had a regular pool as well as a shallow pool for the little kids. No tables or chairs, just lounge chairs, which is ok, but not for all. Really nice lounge and they even have Starbucks! I got a plain coffee and a scone and it was $8, not sure if that is normal? Perfect as it is in between everything so you can get to the main trails easily. We brought our kids, if we stayed here again I wouldn't bring my kids. It would be nicer for a romantic getaway. read more

We had a "Classic Cottage" #301. Upon entering I noticed a few small bugs that looked like flying ants...but not too bad. The room was however old, smelly, & dirty & run down. We went to dinner in the grossly under staffed & over priced restaurant &upon returning to our cottage discovered it was totally infested with BUGS!! When I called the front desk they said they were sorry but after all it was a National Park & they were not allowed to use insecticides. I told them these bugs were so thick on the walls they were falling off each other onto the floor & furniture and I was thoroughly disgusted & refused to stay there. They moved us to another cabin...on the other side of the lodge. It was equally disgusting but had fewer bugs. This place is AWFUL!!! It is waaaaay over priced & not well maintained. My advice is either take your own RAID and cleaning supplies or stay somewhere else. Also know there is NO TV, radio, internet, or A/C. Boring & disgustingly dirty & outdated. read more

I totally love Jackson Lake Lodge. I did my research a couple years ago and I have since stayed there twice. I knew what to expect as far as no television and no air conditioner so that was never ever a problem for me , the fan on the ceiling worked wonderfully and I was able to open my windows and a cool down beautifully during the night ...it was never really overly hot anyway. I had a gorgeous room facing the Tetons and I woke up to that beautiful view every morning. The staff there is friendly and accommodating. I had a slight problem with they needed to get into my room because there was a leak in the kitchen below. I talk to the manager and she was very helpful and sympathetic to my concerns. The room was spotless when I first checked in and I was able to use their discount and waive any housekeeping during my stay .. They have great tours right there from the Lodge that pick you up right at the door... plenty of things to do , plenty of things to see... From my window I could see a small herd of 20 or more elk and on the last day I saw a Bull moose and a cow moose right out my window into the Meadows. I plan on going back and I recommend anyone who loves beautiful scenery and great service to stay at this hotel I can't wait to go back next year ... remember just to bring a couple good books if you have the energy left after the end of the day to read. read more

POOR, POOR, POOR!! This place is not what it claims to be. They tryed to give us there conference room for our hotel room stay. They were overbooked and did not care about our need or our booking. We booked a 2 Q-Bd Cottage, and ended up with a 1 King room (which we had to settle for) over the loading dock. No A/C, No TV (which none of the rooms have as far as we know) at a 4 Diamond Resort Lodge. Are you kidding me??? Then the customer service is NO WHERE near what it should be. I guess for government workers its the norm. So NEVER book a stay at the "Jackson Lake Lodge" in Teton National Park. There are other places with a view and better service n prices. read more

The Jackson Lake Lodge has EPIC views no doubt BUT!!! be prepared to pay over $300 per night to take ice cold showers. We stayed in one of the cottages for around $309 per night (not accounting for tax & resort fees). You'll have to walk 200+ yards for ice, no fridge in the rooms, no Tv in the rooms, very weak wifi and the absolute worst is no hot water. We were told the facility has a 1955 water heating system and due to park regulations they are unable to update..."yeah that happens, you'll need to wait 30 to 45 minutes for the water to heat up. We are very sorry." They obviously don't mention it in advertising. If this place didn't have the views (which is why it got 3 stars instead of 2) it does it would definitely not be able to stay in business!! read more

Do not stay here if you have other choices. very upset vacation because of this hotel. we paid Room US$688 for 2 nights for a unhappy experience. We were not treated the way we should be. We asked about table reservation of the mural dining room when I arrived at the front desk of the hotel. We were not told we have to reserve to have breakfast at the mural room. When we arrived for breakfast at 9am, they told us no table for us, no priority for hotel guest too. Sorry. Bathroom tub yucky too with black stains. The décor and view at the restaurant may suggest haute cuisine (along with haute prices), but don't be intimidated. The food is moderately priced and delicious, and the windows open out to a view as spectacular as any you'll ever see. I went for lunch and had the Crab Chile Relleno, which, although fairly inexpensive, was filled with plentiful amounts of real crab and rich with authentic Southwesten flavour. At Grand Teton National Park, this is a lunch stop you won't want to miss. read more

I just finished my tour of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. We ended the trip by staying a couple of nights at the Jackson Lake Lodge. We had a cabin a short walk from the actual lodge itself and it was very convenient. The lodge itself and surrounding area was gorgeous. You could not ask for a better view from the back patio of the lodge. However, that's just about all that was good about this stay. After spending most of the day in the park exploring, we checked in and decided to head to the pool area so the kids could play and the adults could relax. A BBQ dinner was offered and was overly priced for what was provided. I don't mind paying for a great meal, but this ranked around a 5, but you paid like it was a 10. When we finally made it back to the cabins and got ready for bed, I found a blood stain on the bottom sheet. Not sure if it was fresh as in the sheet hadn't been changed or it was just a stain. I removed the sheet and (Not wanting to wait another 30 mins for them to send someone to change the sheet) I contacted the manager at around 8AM in the morning.. She empathized with me and assured me that they would remove the sheets immediately. I left that day to do more exploring with the family. When we returned around 6:30PM, the sheets had not been touched. I again went to the lodge and spoke with a different manager. She told me she had heard about this which makes me wonder why it hadn't been addressed. She hopped on her radio and sent someone to have those sheets changed right then. Since I was already in the lodge, I thought I might retrieve my ice chest as well. I had brought a small ice chest that held bottled water and sodas that I had left on the front porch to dry that day. When I got back to the cabin in the afternoon to check on the sheet situation, I found a nasty gram taped to the door about my ice chest. After my conversation with the manager about the sheets, a security team member walked up with my ice chest. She started by threatening me with a $400 fine for leaving it out front. Are you serious??? She claims that it would attract bears. But the outdoor BBQ with the over cooked ribs and burgers wouldn't attract bears??? I really find the thought process comical. Since no fine was actually going to be levied, I took my ice chest and left. This was a horrible experience and honestly wouldn't stay here again if it was free. For the price you pay per night to be there, you would expect a tad bit more attention to the details. read more

I wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone. There was no water pressure and there were bugs. We were supposed to stay at a different hotel service owned by the same company they redirected us here because they didn't see our reservation. At Jackson lake lodge we were supposed to have a lake view we didn't we had a view of the nicer cabins, I am not impressed and I would not recommend this place. read more

The best parts about the Lodge are the lobby and the spectacular view of Grand Teton. I could sit there for hours. The bathroom at the Lodge is updated but the room is not. Unfortunately, not enough thoughts went into the remodeling. There were very few outlets and poor lighting in the room made the morning rush very hectic. The bathroom vanity provided little room for personal items. The AC did not appear to be working. We opened the windows at night, but the room was steamy during the day. read more

We stayed 3 nights at Jackson Lake Lodge while visiting the Grand Teton National Park. Great location with the most incredible views in the park in my opinion. Food in the lodge is mediocre at best but the views from the lodge make up for it. Our room was updated and nice. The maid service could have been better and there were a few items that seemed to be stained but everything seemed clean. It was nice staying within the park and at a lodge with such beautiful views. I recommend Leeks Pizzeria down the road if you stay here read more

We had agreed to "splurge" one night and spend $350 for what was advertised as "magnificent" with "stunning views of the lake, mountains, and wildlife" Imagine our disappointment when we checked in to find our $350/night lodging was an old cabin, the power was out, no A/C, no TV, no view (except weeds). Our bad for not researching this place more but the website really looked like a gem. Would have had nicer accomondations at a Super 8. Will not recommend Jackson Lake Lodge. read more

A one star rating is generous. I am from Chicago so I know pricey lodging. When we booked this online I thought it was a respectable place to stay. We stayed in one of the cottages, it was very small and all the accommodations including the lodge are not air conditioned. I have asthma and severe allergies so this is a problem for me. When I spoke to a manager and clearly had symptoms he responded, "You do know that Yellowstone is a park right? It's not going to be air- conditioned." After the manager insisted I had to prove on my confirmation email that no where does it say their accommodations are not air-conditioned, I even offered to pay for one additional night that I would not be staying. They did end up refunding me but not after a fight where I was completely disrespected. For the amount they charge a night I expected a respectable place with respectable staff. Stayed here right at the beginning of the season. We had a few snafus and management was a bit slow to respond. However they finally moved us to another room (albeit after 10pm and we were exhausted and had an early start planned for the next day!) with a magical sunrise view of the Tetons (Yes, it is really worth it to get up at sunrise!!!). We booked a package room that came with breakfast. Definitely recommend that as you are given the choice of a buffet breakfast in the main restaurant. The buffet was wonderful, especially the moose waffles. The view is to die for and we had the good luck of seeing a real live moose in the distance. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The Lodge is a must see, especially the evening harpist playing in front of floor to ceiling windows. The wifi was the BEST I have ever had and my husband was streaming video. Had some drinks and appetizers at the Blue Heron - not too much to recommend it except for the view. Went to the Pioneer Grill for huckleberry pie a la mode. Very yummy! Glad we did not eat dinner here although the food and service looked great. Just too noisy for my taste and you eat at a counter. Had our buffet breakfast in the Mural Room - beyond fabulous! Definitely a 5 star place but I had to give it four because of the plumbing problem in the original room. Chalk it up to opening for the season and call it a five star accommodation. read more
