Stopping at the Kudar for a couple days. We love it there.

Still riding to Jackson on the motorcycle and still staying at the Kudar. No frills but fairly priced. Good people, good place, happy to be at our home in Jackson.

Least expensive across from one of the more expensive places.

I want to be fair, you pay for what you get. This was one of the least expensive places to stay in Jackson, WY. It is a mom and pop motel/cabin property. I stayed in a motel room. Dated furniture, industrial strength carpet (probably a good idea), inner spring bed comfortable enough, small shower and toilet and sink. NOT ADA compliant. I felt safe enough until I saw two of Jackson's finest detain a handcuffed guest. EMS showed up afterwards. Saw the individual back on property later. Sketchiness rating went up after that for me. I had no issues, but I'm not sure I would want to stay again. At least not in the motel section. The cabins be okay.

Cabin #12 first room, twin bed.

We stayed here a night before heading into Yellowstone. Good place for a good price, we stayed in one of the cabins. It's nice and rustic - all it's missing is a deer head :) The place has air conditioning, a fridge, a microwave, and a bath. The people are nice and helpful. There's a nice yard in the middle to play in, too.

It looks and (almost) feels like what they describe it to be... So we bookended our hiking trip there... the first night we dropped into the restaurant but after being sprayed with cleaner as the hostess washed the table next to us, we wandered away... it was chlorine on my and my girls skin and clothes. When we returned from the wilderness, all we wanted was a quiet evening. Now, Jackson is Disneyland for cowboy LARP participants so that's a tall order as we discovered, but it turns out that our suite was directly below the rooftop bar where that evening there was some sort of event. It sounded like a wrestling match was happening upstairs, with a driving EDM soundtrack that kept getting louder as the evening went on. I went upstairs at 11 to find staff sitting at the bar drinking with the music so loud they had to turn it down to hear me tell them that we were trying to sleep downstairs... someone offered me a drink to compensate for the noise. I went downstairs to find the manager, but was told by the front desk person that the owner herself was the one who had offered me a drink. We have received no communication from the hotel after both of us repeated this chain of events to employees at the front desk. I expect that this is simply how they operate and view it as somehow acceptable. Hopefully if you are looking for a quiet place to stay you'll steer clear. I'm torn writing this since the Valet, Bell, Concierge, and Restaurant staff (barring the hostess) were all lovely and helpful and really deserve to be in a better situation.

Turns out the rooftop hotel bar ("The Cloudveil") is only opened during the peak summer months, and I came late May 2026 and was informed that unfortunately they weren't opened yet. The hotel isn't very tall but none of the buildings around Jackson square are, so I'm sure from the rooftop bar you'd get a gorgeous view over the square! That said - the hotel lobby is lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful. The lobby bathrooms are immaculate. If you eat at the attached restaurant on the ground level (adjacent to the lobby), it's a wonderful experience. Overall, I don't know how the rooms are in this hotel, but all the other features (restaurant, location, theoretical rooftop bar that wasn't open yet) are all excellent. I'd come back just to eat at the bistro alone, so it's certainly a place I'd consider staying .

The service was first class from the moment we arrived. Isaiah greeted us at the valet, welcomed us, took our keys and luggage, and told us to go check in and he would take care of everything and meet us at our room. What a great first impression! The lady who checked us in then personally walked us to our room, showed us its features, and told us about the coffee bar, spa, outdoor seating areas, and everything the hotel had to offer. That level of personal service continued throughout our stay. Every employee was friendly, welcoming, and constantly asking if there was anything they could do for us. Our room and beds were great, and we loved the coffee bar just outside our room. The outdoor areas were beautiful, especially the peaceful mountain-view area near the stream and the larger rooftop deck with the fireplace and fire pit. The location is fantastic--only about a block from Jackson's Town Square, so we could walk almost everywhere.
