    Breakfast burrito 9/10
    Karen D.

First time here, don't let the line out the door deter you, it moves very fast. I love that this place is Latina-owned and women-owned. The vibe is immaculate. We sat on the patio, they have seating in the back and front as well as inside. We got the chilaquiles which were delicious, you can tell they're homemade chips and sauce, next time I'll add a protein. The break burrito was solid, the salsa was delicious and spicy. The horchata latte was cool, a little too much almond milk to espresso ratio. Overall a great recommendation for brunch!

Cute and casual day-to-night spot in Mar Vista worth trying. I love their focus on fresh and seasonal ingredients, which makes a difference you can taste. I ordered the Blueys Breakfast, and they certainly have one of the best iterations of this dish in the area! While there wasn't a line to order, our food took about 20 minutes to get to the table and arrived at different times - so be patient and enjoy the vibes. :) This would also be a fantastic place to stop by if you want to buy a drink; they are STOCKED with kombucha, prebiotic sodas, etc.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and Bluey's did not disappoint. We visited on a weekday, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. I ordered the scrambled eggs with toast and greens, and it was absolutely delicious--perfectly cooked eggs, fresh greens, and nicely toasted bread. My ladybug had the breakfast burrito, and she loved it as well--it was flavorful, filling, and cooked just right. The ordering system is simple: you place your order at the counter, and they bring your food to your table, which makes the experience smooth and convenient. Parking is street-only, but it's easy to find a spot, and the food is worth the short walk. The service was friendly, and the overall vibe made it a great start to the day. I will definitely be coming back for more breakfasts here!

My partner and I went to Bluey's for brunch and were pleasantly surprised with how great the food. When you arrive you will place your order with the cashier and they will give you a number once you're paid up. There were plenty of seating indoor and outside. We opted to sit outside and it was a beautiful day. The chorizo breakfast bowl was delicious and packed full of delicious vegetables. The portion was massive and I left with half remaining that I ate another day.

Cute solid neighborhood restaurant in the Mar Vista area. Ordered the Brekkie Breakfast and Little Gordo Sammy -- both were very tasty! Horchata Latte was delicious. Order at the counter, and then grab a table indoor or on the outdoor patio seating areas. There is only street parking available. Service was good and fast too.

Blueys is one of my favorite spots. I love their breakfast burrito, and the salsa that comes with the burrito is delicious. My go to drinks are an iced mocha, and the iced matcha horchata latte, a must try! The staff are so welcoming and friendly. This location has a lot of seating both inside and outside, with front and back patios. Don't be fooled by the parking lot behind the restaurant, there is no spots for Bluey's, however there is a lot of street parking around the restaurant.

Loved this place! Tons of seating inside and outside. I think they let dogs in the patio area. I had the bahn mi sandwich and it was really good! Service was pretty fast as well. You just order at the front first, they give you a number, and then you find a seat. Next time I go I want to try the chilaquiles!

First time coming to this location. I've been to the one in Santa Monica many times and love it. Since I was near Venice, we decided to stop by here and share a snack and a latte. The service was okay. They forgot my latte. The place is very pretty though. Cute big tree in the middle of the dining area. However... the sandwich we got was horrible. We ordered the banh mi. Highly recommended by the cashier. Omg, it was so hard we couldn't even chew it. We had to use our hands to break it apart. I really don't like when people add Vietnamese ingredients and suddenly it's a "banh mi". Because it's not. Too much sauce, and not even enjoyable. The only reason I forced my fiancé to eat it was because it was almost $21!!! With the fries.

I wanted to come back and update my review. Turns out I've never been to this location. I went to the Blueys in SM. Also, I've moved on from the exploding runny egg incident . My most recent visit was a 10/10. There was a line out the door which made me a little nervous, but it moved quickly. Naturally, I wanted everything on the menu but I decided on a yummy breakfast pastry and salmon toast. The pastry was amazing and the toast was pretty solid. They also have plenty of seating which is a huge plus!

Decent bites, a little pricey. Nice patio. Casual vibe. More for tourists but still enjoyable for locals on the less busy days. Dogs without borders was there last week, what an awesome cause. Love this so much

I finally had the chance to dine at Blueys in Mar Vista after passing by so many times, and I was excited to check it out with two friends on a Friday night! We were seated outside, which was pleasant, though the experience was slightly dampened by some patrons smoking near a nearby bar, definitely something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to that. The dinner menu wasn't overly extensive, but it had some solid options. I was between the steak and the pasta and ultimately ordered the Homie e Pepe, which was packed with flavor and a satisfying choice, though I believe it may have been replaced by another pasta dish on the current menu. One of my friends, who had previously enjoyed the Bidi Bidi Bahn Mi, opted for the Fish & Chips this time but found himself wishing he had gone with his usual favorite. On the other hand, my other friend ordered that sandwich and really enjoyed it! The overall ambiance was casual and inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. While I had a great experience at dinner, I'm holding off on that coveted fifth star until I come back for brunch... I've heard amazing things about their breakfast/brunch menu and I can't wait to try it for myself! So, yes - I'm already looking forward to my next visit...!

Enjoyed Sunday breakfast here with the halloumi toast + mexi latte. Good variety on the menu and friendly service.

This place is a very cute, and quaint spot for anything from brunch to dinner dates. There is an indoor/outdoor seating space, but be warned it does get loud outside at times due to being near the street as well as being by a bar. But that didn't stop a great date night! The service is also quick and efficient and we got our food in no time at all! The food was also very very delicious and price point is outstanding! The only thing that I would change is the portion size of the zucchini, because it is extremely addictive and delicious! Go try this place out!

While I am not at all vegan, it can be a fantastic change of pace when trying a cuisine that is not at all my regular routine. Happily, Variable has tons of choices, and we loved what we got. I was drawn towards the 'N Seoul Bowl' (Korean spicy plant based pork, house marinated Kimchi, organic edamame, steamed organic spinach, carrot, steamed broccoli, onion , organic shiitake, topped with green onion and sesame seeds and side organic quinoa). So good, a bit spicy, and so many flavors on the plate it was impossible to not only love it, but I could not finish it, either. That goes from all their dishes. They are big, and in our experience, it came out piping hot soon after ordering it. My companion tried the 'Indian Tikka Masala' (homemade Indian curry, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, yellow squash, potatoes, cabbage, chickpea, micro green, Served with blend wild Jasmin rice and Indian Flat Bread). Tastes so fresh, hearty, with just enough of a kick to it. I look forward to trying some of their other dishes, too. The burger that the table near us ordered looked fantastic. I gotta think that everything here is pretty dang great.
