This review is purely a coffee review as I have not tried any food yet! Solid cortado, whether it's hot or iced. If you order through their app, you get credits for a free one. They don't up charge for alternative milk. App does charge a small fee for using it tho. Convenient tho if you see a line out the door. If you order through the app, be sure you have time, every time I've ordered, the app says that it would be ready in 20 min. That's a long time to wait for coffee. Be sure to have patience or you do order. It could be faster if you order in person? Based on their board, they have seasonal specials, eats and drinks. I will dream of the breakfast burrito at Culver & Main. I couldn't quite pinpoint it, but perhaps the chicken sausage added such an aromatic and smoky flavor that surprised me in the best way. To be honest, Matcha latte just tasted like milk with few splash of Matcha, was a little disappointed. The burrito, however was SO GOOD. Easily one of my favorite brunch cafes in Culver City. The vibes inside are so cozy, plenty of seating inside and outside! The chorizo breakfast burrito was one of the best I've had! Finally got around to trying this place for breakfast. It's an order and find our own seat setup. The employee who helped us was so funny and kind not mention helpful with recommendations I wish I'd caught her name. Anywho our drinks came out fairly quickly after being seated. You order up at the counter and your food is brought out to you according to the number on your table. Service is very friendly and our order taker was very helpful in suggesting what to get. The space is small and it is a popular restaurant so plan accordingly. It's counter service, no reservations accepted. I loved my breakfast burrito, in particular all the dipping sauces were yummy. Someone does come around to make sure you have all you need, and that person very nicely took our order for a baked good so we didn't have to wait in the line again. There is mostly outdoor patio seating right in the heart of Culver City. First off, I just want to say the power of the word of mouth is real. This morning as my husband and I were walking our usual route to DTCC with our baby we passed by another father and his baby. Neighbor Doug told us about Culver & Main, the newest coffee and brunch spot on the east side of downtown. Although I have my favorite breakfast spots in the area, this location is particularly refreshing, staying away from hotspots as the Culver Steps, Culver One and the what I call the "Cafe Vida" corner. I love that the aesthetic of this place appeals to the ever growing young families that populate this area, as well as to professionals looking to unwind, solo diners or couples falling (or staying) in love haha. So on to the order: breakfast burrito with bacon 5/5 Peru pour over 5/5 Ethiopian pour over 5/5 Chocolate muffin 100000/5 Service was superb for a soft opening. I literally searched the country for the best French Toast (actor on tour 7 years in a row) and finally found it here. The Challah French Toast at Culver and Main takes the cake. First of all its presentation with berries and specialty whipped cream with powdered sugar sprinkles remind me of an east coast winter holiday. The taste is a mixture of sweet, soft clouds that shower a storm of flavors in every bite. It's worth traveling from far and wide to try this meal alone. We got the Challah French Toast, Avocado Toast, Cappucino and Americano and loved it all. The french toast had some kind of spiced candied nuts (maybe pecans?) that were crispy and yummy. The crispy purple rice on the avocado toast was fun too! My teeth are sensitive and don't fare well on hard or chewy things, but the nuts and rice crispies were so delicate and light.
