    Flat coke and rum
    Jim R.

It's under new ownership and they Al have a much better attitude towards customer service. It feels like they care- Here's what we liked: *The beer is cold. That always makes the beer better. *Got the sampler appetizer and I will say- while it was your basic appetizer- the cook did a nice job ensuring it was crisp. *Fried pickles basic but crisp! *Onion rings so crisp. *Homemade each was good. *Sat at the bar and service was great! What could be better- *Rum and coke - while it's not about the coke, was so flat. *Boneless wings- your basic store bought mediocre "wing" Overall it was the most basic bar food- but the beers were cold, the food was hot and the service was great. And the home team was winning- good time What could be better

Love the cod nuggets and the bread bites. The bread bites are also really good with cinnamon sugar.

The American fries were the closest thing to what my mother used to make a long time ago. Service was excellent. She talked about the cinnamon rolls. I bought a small one to go which was anything but small (very delicious I might add). I was an hour away from home on my way through for the day's activities. My wife and I will go there soon. I've heard this place had the humongous cinnamon rolls and I knew I had to get one. The small could feed 3 people easily and the family size is HUGE. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and bacon. The bread was fresh made and the gravy was delicious! Coffee is always piping hot and service cannot be beat! This place gets busy and I can see why. The food was great, service was outstanding and the homemade bread, cookies and cinnamon rolls are the stars here. If you're ever by Millington, stop by here. You'll be glad you did!

Many folks around town have raved about this little restaurant bar so we gave it a shot. Service…read moreupon entering was welcoming, many open tables and lots of seating options. The bar was quiet, calm, dark and cold but seemed like a chill vibe. Our waitress was okay, service was quick and she did her job well but didn't smile and wasn't very talkative or seemingly friendly. We asked what her favorite appetizers were and we ordered the Loaded Potato Balls based on her recommendation - they were great! 10/10! Loaded with flavor, very moist and served with 3 sauces - ranch, spicy ranch and sour cream. The ranch and spicy ranch were not great - tastes like they're bottled not homemade. The sour cream though, that was a good compliment. We both ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich - 10/10! They're hand breaded, juicy and tender chicken breasts topped with lettuce, tomato and mayo on a perfectly warm brioche bun. Our meal was served so hot, it was perfect. I would absolutely go back just for this sandwich! The homemade chips for the side were great, crispy and lightly seasoned. I had the tater tots with mine and they tasted freezer burnt, wouldn't get them again. We also had a side of their house made coleslaw and it was perfect, ice cold and a great balance of flavor. Draft beer wasn't super cold - it would be better served in a frosted glass. Overall- it's good, we'd come again! Next time we'd sit at the bar top as the bartenders seemed to enjoy more casual conversation and friendly vibes with their customers.

We had looked up…read morea place to have breakfast on our way home from Frankenmuth and this seemed like a nice family restaurant. When we sat down, our waitress, asked for our drink order and brought it probably within 10 minutes. At that point, the waitress said she would go get her pad to come and take our order. We probably waited another 20 minutes watching her run around the restaurant and finally asked another waitress if she could come take our order , so she called over our waitress who apologized for taking so long. We put in our order and saw the waitress walk over to the computer screen and enter our order. At that point we were waiting and we knew it was memorial day and things might take a little bit longer, so we were allowing for a little extra time however we noticed a table behind us and a table in front of us who had arrived after us, and not only place their order, but received their food while we were still waiting. The person I was with finally called another waitress over and said that we've been waiting over an hour for our food and he asked to speak to the owner or the manager because he was very upset about us waiting so long. At that point another new waitress came over and apologized and said that our waitress was in the back room having a meltdown over the situation and that she was going to buy our breakfast for us. My friend was very upset. I was a little more calm, but he said there's no way we are paying for this order. We've been here over an hour, that waitress walked away and then came back and said she wanted to verify our order so that everything was perfect on the order. we gave her specific details on our order and she went in the back and said it would come out quickly and I believe it it came out then in 20 minutes. My theory is that the first waitress somehow enter all the information in the computer and lost our order so that when that other waitress came back to check on the specifics of our order, she was actually taking our order from scratch and they had to go in the back and make it up brand new. The food was fine but maybe a little bit greasy, but with the whole fiasco with our order taking over an hour and a half and us watching other people come after us eat and leave while we're still waiting for our food was very upsetting. As soon as we got done eating, we just got up and left the restaurant. The first waitress never made any kind of apologies to us, and I thought that was a lack of professionalism and kind of tacky. Obviously, we would never go back here and I believe they need to come up with some new strategies for training their staff and telling them how to deal with customers and how to take orders properly.

Walking in feels like the universe hit pause somewhere in the best way. Same feel, same energy, same kind of place you can count on without thinking twice. It's like being teleported back to exactly where you're supposed to be. And the food? Exactly what it should be. No pretending to be healthy, no overthinking it. Just straight, unapologetic comfort. I go there for one thing every time: the hot beef sandwich. Massive. Smothered in gravy... and I mean gravy everywhere. The kind where you don't just eat it, you commit to it. Fries? Those are getting dipped in gravy too, no question. It's excessive in the best possible way. The portions are out of control. You're not finishing it. You're not even pretending to. You're leaving with enough leftovers for the next couple of days and you're not mad about it. It's the kind of meal that feels a little sinful, but worth every second. You'll deal with forgiveness later. Hometown, no-frills, real-deal comfort food that hasn't lost its identity over time. And honestly, that's rare.
