    Chicken with Broccoli

Been coming here for over 10yrs and this place never disappoints. Food always taste good & service always good & fast. Ambiance is nice, small corner basic establishment.

Jade Cafe gets a strong ok from me. The beef and broccoli was meh. It was too salty. But I really did enjoy the egg roll. I also had rice to come with my meal and I didn't enjoy it very much. It was fired way to hard. However, my coconut smoothie was amazing and it might be the reason I come back in the future. Also, I loved the service. The employees were nice, the place was clean and I got my lunch in a timely manner. When I go back, I'll make sure to try another dish.

I don't crave American Chinese food very often, but I was in the mood for it and decided to give this place a try. The restaurant was clean, the portions are large, but the food was only okay. The lemon chicken was more like a sugary glaze for a pastry, but the chicken itself was very good. The veggies with garlic sauce and ribs were good as well. The prices are very affordable. I may give this place a shot again in the future to try out their other dishes.

Best Chinese food ever, everything was fresh, huge portions enough to share and everything came out hot! Perfect flavor and everything was cooked perfectly. The staff is nice and the establishment is extremely clean and pleasing to the eye. 10/10 we will be back and dining in. They also have a drive through window you can order ahead and pick up for an night in!

    Kung Pao Chicken combo

My wife and I swung by here for dinner on a Friday night, kind of on a whim since our original dinner plans fell through. We'd gotten a recommendation from a friend that this place was worth trying, and the friend was right. The place was mostly empty when we pulled up, with one person waiting on a to go order and no one dining in. Only one other group ended up dining in during the entire time we were there, but there were several more to go orders that came through. As such, service was very attentive since we were pretty much the only ones eating in. The Kung Pao Chicken combo was pretty filling, served with fried rice and an egg roll. My wife went with the Mongolian Beef, which was served the same way in a combo. She really seemed to enjoy her meal, but I felt mine suffered from the "more vegetable than chicken" issue I've seen from a lot of Chinese restaurants outside of China Town. Still, the food was pretty good for the price, and if you're in the area, this is definitely a place worth checking out for lunch or dinner.

THe entire feast for the kids. General, Orange, Mongolian and h/S soup

We ordered two of the sweet & sour ribs. Always goes so well with rice. The shrimp were exceptional - big, pump, tender and full of flavor! The only issue was the amount of oil used, even after we asked for less oil. I guess they need lots of oil to make Sichuan dishes. Our son came home after a big Cantonese dinner in Chinatown and tried the shrimp, then the other dishes. He couldn't stop from having a little second meal! Said the dishes were really good. We must have picked a good combination of dishes as I loved this meal!

Very heavy handed with salt even though the person in my party that placed the order specifically told the waitress to tone down on the salt. We also asked for no MSG but they turned to sugar instead so the dishes were a little altered beyond recognition. Specifically, I ordered their Szechuan peppercorn beef. As far as I know, this dish is always all savory and there should not be any sweetness. But, when I took the first bite, it was mildly sweet. Weird! Looks like for the rest of the dishes that has sauce, they used the same dark colored sauce; so, they tasted the same. Not a lot of imagination and creativity in their cooking. SERVICE: They are quite attentive in this area. So, I would give them 4 out of 5 stars in this area. VERDICT: Would I return? Probably not. When it comes to Chinese foods, the dishes need to be superior in their taste. You really need to have skills to survive as a Chinese restaurant.

The restaurant is located inside Jusgo grocery store. The seating is quite limited so I wouldn't recommend it for large parties. And it's pretty mom and pop, so if that's your jam, go for it. Chairs are mismatched, drinking water is somewhat self-service in small cafeteria-style plastic cups, and tables are small. Like I said - mom and pop, and that's not a bad thing. Whether it was weekend dim sum or an evening Canto feast with fresh seafood, I was simply thankful for the option. Now that option is toast since Regal closed last month. Looks can be deceiving. The exterior makes me think of a fitness joint more so than a Cantonese spot. Stepping inside is a complete contrast, with a mix of specialty murals, modern decor with a contemporary edge. There were plenty of large group tables, which made this place perfectly ideal for a feast gathering. Bathrooms were also clean, but this is the only place I've seen that had ice cubes all the urinals. (#1) Dim Sum was solid. The highlights for me were their stir fried XO rice rolls, which had a nice char and some good flavor. The Malay style rolls were also suprrisingly good and I felt strongly about their bbq pork puffs, durian rolls, and glutinous pork dumplings shaped to look like pears. The shrimp dumplings, beef balls, and spare ribs were average at best, I was also very impressed with their overall variety and the fact they had an extremely defined picture menu. The Canto speaking staff was friendly and the parking was plentiful. While the food wasn't all a hit, I do think there was some potential, which was not realized in the end. I am sincerely hoping another Canto spot will emerge in the Land of Sugar. __________ (#1) Yes, really.

I imagine it would be less if we would just stick to dim sum only. 3. Ambiance - this place is industrial looking. Modern and pretty hip. It's not massive. Not sure if it's the same owner as the previous Regal on 59. But it's a smaller footprint than the previous location. Dress code here is casual. 4. Food - I will say that the dim sum here is legit Hong Kong style dim sum. This is delicious and not greasy. I really like their CHA-SIU-BAO (BBQ Pork Buns), HA-GAO (shrimp dumplings), SIU-MEI (Pork and Shrimp dumplings), and Egg Tarts. Because it was our first time there, we wanted to try out their roast duck. It is also very authentically made. That combination is harder to find than you'd think, and they execute both perfectly. The food is consistently excellent. The chicken fried rice deserves special mention--when you order it, be prepared for a massive portion. It comes piled high on the plate in a huge, rounded mound, and it's very good.
