We love getting take out from Panda Garden, they always deliver on quality. We usually order the beef and broccoli, chicken and eggplant (my favorite) and the chicken fried rice. The chicken and eggplant is one of my favorite eggplant dishes. It has plenty of eggplant, chicken, water chestnuts, jalepenos and red bell peppers in a thick and dark sauce. The beef in the beef and Brocolli is always tender. And the fried rice is exactly as good as it looks. The host and hostesses are always very pleasant and they take great care in packaging up your food and offering friendly faces. I'm so upset I didn't know about this place sooner! Ordered the Lemon Chicken Lunch Combo. Portions were so big I couldn't finish it all and I didn't expect to have enough for two meals, but there was so much food I had to eat the rest for dinner. The lunch combo comes with soup, an appetizer, and your choice of rice all for $8.50. I opted for no soup but got the crab puffs and fried rice with my lemon chicken. Usually a lunch combo only comes with rice and soup so I was super excited that they allow you to also have an appetizer because I loooove crab puffs but can never eat my meal plus a whole appetizer's worth. The lunch combo allows for two crab puffs (or egg rolls) which was perfect because I was able to try other items on the menu for one low price. The crab puffs were good, nothing super special but they definitely hit the spot. The chicken was good..definitely seasoned, maybe with a tadddddd bit too much salt but still good. The fried rice was good also but I wish they would've given me more than just one packet of soy sauce because you get a lot of rice and one packet isn't enough. I ordered my food to go, so I can't speak too much on the customer service but the gentleman that took my order was polite, professional, and patient. Some places in the area don't really have lemon chicken as a menu item anymore, but I'm happy that Panda Garden does and I was pleased at how tasty it was. I came in well before the the lunch menu closed, ordered the lemon chicken lunch combo and paid extra for fried rice. The chicken was old for sure, it was dry and under seasoned, It had the consistency of gum, not pleasant, but just edible enough because I was hungry. The lemon sauce is pleasant, and not too sweet, but the biggest disappointment was the fried rice, I paid an extra fee for barley fried rice that was colored with soy sauce, no veggie, no egg. I got trapped in my hotel amidst flooding from Tropical Depression Imelda. Nearly every delivery operation shut down due to impassable roads throughout the Houston metro area, but somehow Panda Garden II kept taking orders and doing deliveries. So it not only saved me from a hungry night amidst an historic storm, but it also does damn good (and unusual) food. At a glance, the menu seems to be standard Chinese fare. But the preparations are more refined and delicate. I got the steamed vegetable dumplings ($6.75) which had a great savory filling and decent outer wrapper. The stir fry home tofu ($9.50) is vegan by default and consists of fried tofu with red chili and cilantro. The tofu was beautifully fried with a crispy outer coating and a pillow-y soft interior. The cilantro added a wonderful herbal kick and isn't something you see often in stripmall Chinese food. This place is definitely not normal. The free egg roll that came with my meal was also great: crispy, savory and addictive. I salute you, Panda Garden II, for making delicious food and keeping desperate folks like me fed during a storm. read more

Make sure to skip this place. People that work there are unkept. Oily hair, dirty looking, makes you think what the meal is prepared like. With 4 customers in, everyone is on their cell phones or gasping behind the front desk (you can hear it). You will not be refilled your glass water. Everything has to be asked for. The restaurant is panda theme, so it's very cute to see all the stuffed pandas in the front of the restaurant. If you sit near the front, it's also fun looking at all the stuffed pandas. It's also a plus point that they had a combo special that comes with an eggroll and soup. I was excited about that, but then the taste leaves more to be desired. I ordered the Prawns & scallops with garlic sauce which I thought was ok, but nothing too special or outstanding. The eggroll is veggie, but it was kind of bland. The waitress says it would be shrimp eggroll, which I doubt, but when it came out, it confirmed my thinking that wouldn't be shrimp. The soup was ok, but I'm not a fan of the corn. My granddaughter who is only 7yrs wanted just seasoned noodles. Noodles. They charged me 17.00 for a plate of noodle that were overcooked and tasted terrible, she did not even eat it. My total bill was $89.00 for 2 small children and myself. Staff was terrible we could not get no refills on our drinks, they just forgot about us. I am not a vegetarian. But we ate vegetarian that day. They allowed dining in and the place was very clean. The staff was very attentive to our needs and very proactive. Even getting our leftovers for takeout was done very nicely. The food was great tasting too. We had the vegetable fried rice, sezhuan eggplant, and stir fried tofu. Everything was excellent. The texture of the tofu was really good--hard on the outside and soft on the inside. Another thing that I love is that their hot mustard was truly hot. Other places' mustards tend to be sweet. They also gave fried wonton chips as an appetiser. That was a great bonus although we couldn't eat them (eggs). Will definitely return! read more

This is one of the better options for Asian cuisine in the Sugar Land - Mo City area. It's still not mind blowing but it's good enough to satisfy a small craving. The sesame chicken is my favorite and if you want something lighter, opt for the steamed lemon chicken. It's very tasty and low calorie, the two sauces that come with are yummy. The rice here is just meh and wonton soup is ok nothing special. Your combo comes with egg roll or crab wonton, get the crab wontons they are very good! They are very friendly and prices are reasonable. This place is located next door to TJ Max and you can do some shopping before or after your meal or window shop and walk off your crab puffs!! read more
