    Dumplings and chicken friend rice

Hands down, one of the best Americanized Chinese food in sugar land! If you're looking for some great take out that's plentiful, affordable and down right delicious look no more. We love getting take out from Panda Garden, they always deliver on quality. We usually order the beef and broccoli, chicken and eggplant (my favorite) and the chicken fried rice. The chicken and eggplant is one of my favorite eggplant dishes. It has plenty of eggplant, chicken, water chestnuts, jalepenos and red bell peppers in a thick and dark sauce. The beef in the beef and Brocolli is always tender. And the fried rice is exactly as good as it looks. The host and hostesses are always very pleasant and they take great care in packaging up your food and offering friendly faces. The front indoor area is filled with cute little stuffed animals and complimentary peppermints and wintermelon candy!

I just have to share my thoughts. This is the BEST Chinese restaurant I've frequented in some time. My second visit and they didn't let me down. I ordered veg fried rice with tofu and an order of fried biscuits. Both made with perfection. You get a good amount of veggies in it and I like the size of the tofu, you get tofu in every bite (not those big slices you have to cut yourself)

Favorite neighborhood Chinese-American spot! Beef with Broccoli is the best I've ever had.

On the table was a holder with chopsticks, soup spoons and napkins. It was a chilly, blustery day - I so enjoyed the Henan-style lamb with noodles soup! Three kinds of noodles: wide, hand-pulled with a nice chew; thin, textured tofu; crystal. Happy with the two quail eggs. There was a nice amount of wood ear fungus, kelp? and fresh cilantro. The lamb was tender and the broth flavorful. I saved half of the soup for dinner and chowed down on the pork bun. It was hot and toasty from the bun being grilled. Had to eat it right away as the bun was crispy crunchy and the sauce inside will eventually make the bottom mushy. "Yum!"

I thought it was solid and it is actually enough for 2 meals to be honest. Noodles were chewy and soak up all the chili oil and garlic flavor. It's a bit oily, there's a puddle at the end but I'd say it's pretty solid. I would say that northern pasta edges this one out just a bit for best chili oil noodles in Houston tho

Even on weekdays, this place is consistently busy. The staff are always very friendly, the food tastes fresh and made to order, and I have never had an unpleasant dining experience here. Whenever I come here, I usually order the Cheese Crab Puffs. While this is a fairly standard appetizer at many restaurants, I genuinely think Dumpling World does them better than most places I have tried. The wrapper is lighter and airier while still staying crispy, and the filling leans slightly sweet, which I personally really enjoy. Of course, I also have to order the Pork Xiao Long Bao. The wrappers are impressively thin, and each dumpling is packed with soup. Another must order is the Pan Fried Pork and Scallion Thumb Buns. They are addictively crispy on the outside and filled with juicy, flavorful pork. On this visit, I also tried the Eggplant and Minced Pork Noodles for the first time, and I would definitely order them again. The pork and eggplant were very flavorful, and the hand pulled noodles were thin and satisfying, though slightly overcooked. The sauce was also a bit oily, but that is fairly common with dishes like this, so it did not bother me much. It is just something to keep in mind. Overall, Dumpling World continues to be one of my favorite casual Chinese spots. Between the consistently fresh food, friendly service, and standout dumplings, this is a place I would gladly keep coming back to.

I have passed by their restaurant many times, but it never occurred to me to go in until one day I was surprised to see them ranked in the top 100 ramen places nationally on Yelp! With less than 300 reviews, I was skeptical at first but was intrigued to give it a try, and I'm so glad that I did! I visited on a Friday afternoon right before New Year's and was greeted warmly by the staff inside. As I was indecisive on what to order in the ramen section, I asked the staff for suggestions. She was kind to walk me through the menu without rushing to get an order, and she mentioned that their most popular item is actually the beef noodles. That was all I needed to make a decision to try the beef noodles. While waiting for the food, I chatted with the staff and learned that the restaurant opened right before the pandemic then shifted their model to take-out only as the pandemic begin. Since then, they've tried to make use of their restaurant space to return to dine-in but it has been difficult to find reliable workers. In the interest of keeping the quality consistent and customers happy, they've decided to make sacrifices to keep the business model as is for take-out only instead of scaling up with additional staff, which is such a shame given the rent in the area is not cheap and they have such a beautiful space! When you hear "take-out only", I know what you're thinking, BUT I promise you this is the best takeout food you will ever have! The packaging is very well-designed to keep the flavors and ingredients at its finest! As I mentioned, I ordered the beef noodles, and typically noodle dishes are not ideal for takeout, but Asia Blue separates the soup from the noodles so that the noodles are not soggy, and even after half hour, the soup stayed warm and flavorful. The noodles also came paired with many mini side dishes as palate cleansers, which were a nice surprise. From my conversation with the staff, I've also learned that this is one of the rare places that truly make their broth fresh from premium ingredients! You can be sure that it's MSG free and packed with healthy nutrients, and that's a quality that you can taste. I highly recommend this place for your next ramen adventure, and I certainly will be returning again very soon to try the other menu items. :)

Since it is only two people, it can be slow to get your food when it is busy. I waited an additional 20 mins from the projected time it was suppose to be done. As for the food, the miso ramen was packed in this fancy box. The box contained the soup separated from the noodles with a few side dishes. I believe this is the only vegi ramen they offer. It is nothing special. The broth is basically miso soup with soy sauce. (2 out of 5) The cold sesame noodles was better. It had more flavor. (4 out of 5) The Salt & Pepper Chicken was good (4.5 out of 5). I couldn't help eating it while in the car, as it smelled so good. The Braised Pork over rice was decent. It was cut up thick pork belly, braised in an Asian brown sauce. The flavoring was a little one sided. (3 out of 5). I'm giving this place an overall 3 stars because the food isn't something to rave about. Packaging and presentation were great, but tastes was more important to me.

Their vermicelli bowls are usually between $12-15 depending on the protein. They also sell banh mi sandwiches, although I usually stick with the pho and vermicelli dishes.
