Best (and only?) Vietnamese in the area. Family run, service is efficient & good. Spring rolls are as spartan as the decor but cream cheese wontons will satisfy your craving for sweet. This place is average at best. I had the pho but it was not as good as previous pho that I've had in other cities. I guess you can say it's the best pho in Fargo since there isn't much competition out here. Servos the dumplings as well. I ordered the the steamed dumplings but they were not that great. I remember when Jade first opened, the menu was move Vietnamese oriented than Chinese. I wish it would delve deeper into the Vietnamese cuisine again, I can't believe Thai & what passes for Korean/Japanese is all The Metro can handle. Seriously 2 Thai restaurants in the 25th Street Market? come on, get creative. Viet Palace isn't bad. I tell you, years ago we had a place called Mi Viet (pardon the spelling if needed). Boy do I miss that joint. Jade's Pho is the best in town (remember with Pho it's the broth that makes the dish) And with the coming winter months, I'll be there most every Sunday after Church for a bowl of that hot steamy goodness. The combo for me please #19 isn't it? What I love most about Jade, besides the family, is they do Chinese better than most Chinese restaurants in town. Wow is all I can say. The pho bien was super yummy. We also had really good hot and sour soup, sweet and sour chicken, kung pao shrimp, and exceptional shrimp lo mein. We also had cream cheese wontons and steamed pork pot stickers. We brought home a ton of food which was even better the next day! The service was super fast too. A great deal. Came in on our stop through town during our long road trip. Hostess seemed very displeased with her job and threw the menus on the table, but our waiter had to have been one of the best waiters I have had. Tried to keep conversation, kept waters filled, brought food out quickly, and was very professional and polite. The chicken wasn't as crispy as I would've liked, but very flavorful. I have eaten Pho at numerous restaurants all over the place and the funny thing is Jade Dragon's is better than what I have found in Phoenix, Los Angeles, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Phoenix, et al. I actually will stop there on the way back from Minneapolis because they have better Pho than anywhere in the Twin Cities.
