We made a reservation for families valentine dinner at 6:30 but apparently when we arrived the staffs told us that they make a mistake of giving the table to another group. Very disappointed with my first and last time coming here. No manager even comes and talk to us but the staff at the bar told us to wait for another 30 minutes but 30 minutes turn to hour and still no tables for the families. I hope there be better management. read more

Beautiful, beautiful space. Lovely and comfortable, great sound dampening too. Our service was definitely still ironing out some kinks but they were friendly and informative. Table busing and water refills were prompt which I always appreciate. The food was incredibly delicious. I was sad that they were out of some stuff (like dessert), but even taking that into account, my entree was great. My wife and I split green beans as an appetizer and they were some of the best I've had. read more

Great atmosphere compared to their old Hong Kong Noodles on Washington Ave and at the same price. Most. Dishes are around $20 except for fresh seafoods. We ordered Hong Kong style crabs, seafood pan fried noodle, crab balls, 1/2 roast duck, black bean clams, and had plenty of leftovers. The service was excellent, explaining the new menu and recommendations. They just opened a week before. We'll go back for their grand opening. Best dim sum in Minneapolis. We used to go to Mandarin Kitchen, but now Jade Dynasty is our new favorite. We are from the San Francisco Bay Area, and Jade Dynasty is not quite as good as the ones in San Francisco, but it is getting pretty good. Great service. read more

We had a 16 person (adult) group brunch at the Jade Garden last week and it was wonderful! While the outside is not finished as of this review, the inside was stunning! The bartender was extremely helpful in suggesting local specialties as we waited for our table. We were escorted to a very large table with a motorized lazy Susan that made everything accessible to every guest seated at the table. The centerpiece is beautiful but did not get in the way of conversation. We ordered many, many dishes to try everything. The Dim Sum was excellent! We would order 3-4 boxes of each type to ensure everyone had a taste. The food was moist, flavorful and well prepared. The service was extremely friendly and quick!. When we were finished we were offered take-away boxes for the extra. I will go there again with smaller groups of family to enjoy the food of the Jade Dynasty! read more

We have loved Jade dynasty for decades- great food and casual environment perfect for families.

My partner and I agreed that the hot and sour soup was the best we had ever had. Kung pao chicken was awesome as well as the sweet and sour pork. Loved the decor and spacious interior. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. Our waitress, Maggie, was everything you could hope for in terms of service. She was very personable and professional and a credit to her profession. We are grateful to have such a fine Chinese restaurant in our neighborhood. i had been to this restaurant 3 times but each time it get worst. we order several dim sum and 3 other dishes but the deep fried salty pork dumplings and custard buns barely warm, the chicken sticky rice arrived 30 mins after all the food were served. The supreme Emperor chicken ( half chicken) didn't look anything like on the menu and the whole chicken leg was missing! Customer service also poor and the place wasn't even busy, the server never refill our water at all. Definitely will not go there again!!! read more

We were 5 people for dinner on a busy Sunday night, most tables filled. To be fair, they are new and still getting their sea-legs and we went with high expectations. We ordered a large variety of food and appetizers. Shrimp and pork eggrolls were overcooked. BBQ pork was moist but average flavor. Everything was ok but mostly average+. Several of the appetizers on the menu where not available. The Wanderers Punch took me back to the days of the original Nankin. I'll give them another shot in a few months after they have time to polish up a bit. read more

Disappointing lunch experience. It took nearly 30 minutes to receive the lunch special, and several of our dim sum items were forgotten. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy, with only about 3 to 4 tables were occupied, so the slow service was surprising. I've visited many Chinese restaurants in the Twin Cities and usually enjoy Hong Kong noodles (in its old and new location), but this was by far the lowest level of service I've encountered. We had a family dinner for 7 people. We liked the food, it was tasty. But, the service was awful. They brought the appetizers with the main dishes over a period of about 20 minutes. Not sure who was getting what food when. The Walnut shrimp had warm shrimp but cold walnuts and broccoli. The place was very very noisy. We could not talk to or hear conversation with others at our table. They need to do better at organizing and coordinating the kitchen and the food delivery. The server was pleasant but had too many tables to wait on at the same time. read more

The food was superb, the service was excellent, and restaurant was elegant but approachable. They're really doing something on Lake Street. Honestly I usually don't write reviews but this was a disgrace. Me and my wife went to this restaurant excited. We ordered our food and there wasn't anything I wanted. We both got drinks and they didn't even have the drink I wanted. We put orders in 40 minutes later. They did not give us water the whole time, they did not offer to give us another drink or anything. She ordered her food and I ordered later because they did not have what I wanted. After the orders were put in she got her food fairly quickly but I did not receive mine until we were already upset and ready to leave. It took over a hour and a half for sweet and sour chicken. Lastly by the time we got the check I was very upset and did not tip but just received something from my bank saying they wrote a tip of 20.80 on top of everything that we ordered and we barely ate because we wanted to enjoy our meal together. The ambiance was nice but honestly that was the only thing we enjoyed they will never get my business again and I will be calling about this tip because it was definitely not deserved after everything that happened. read more

So the month after I moved in this young man who owns this restaurant was building it up and I was, I asked him. You know what are you? What are you doing it with food? Just because that's what it was known as Fuji. You know, restaurant. It's like I'm opening app a restaurant and it's gonna be a really good. Chinese restaurant and it was really nice to me and so last night I saw him again. After like 7 months I was so afraid to go into this restaurant. I was and I went in there last night. And I got the best food in the best drink. I've ever had in my whole entire life. This place is amazing. If you've never had dimpsong or dumplings. Go in there and have their shrimp and pork. Dumplings dathey are amazing easy. They're cheap and they're good. I had 2 servings. I would like couldn't stop II was so jealous. I wanted to go back last night to get some more. You know, but by time you know I'd had my dumplings. Maybe we're already closed so I couldn't go back 10 minute. I was mad as hell. I couldn't get no more. Of their dumpling, but let me digress. They were so amazingly good. If you don't take my word for it going there and try therefore, they gave me some of the spiciest food I've eaten a long time and it wasn't like spicy hot. It was just so spicy. It was spicy good. I still have did the young man who helped me at the front desk. Who helped me at the bar? He was so gracious. He gave me a Moscow mule. He didn't give it to me and I didn't give it to me in. A are copper copper like a cup but give me a Moscow meal. He was so nice and he showed me what to get and he told me what are his favorites and literally the dish that he had me get. He was like. You know, it's a little bit spicy, just you know, don't? Don't wrap it up and he was completely utterly, right? He was dead on the food was so delicious. I sweated my ass off last night. Eat meat. And I still have enough food for today. So if you really want to try and see what j Danny state has to offer. Try it. Do not back off for this place. This plamazing great food. Great company, great owner. Because he's there. it took over an hour to get the food and it took 45 minutes to get our order placed. the waitress was extremely impatient, disrespectful, and had no manners. the atmosphere was great though! but do not come here. the food is clearly reheated. Atleast try to make the food look like it is fresh. you can find meals at trader joe's for 1/3 of the price and way better than this. the eels are dead in the tank and the kitchen is dirty. read more
