I have ordered their two plate entree for my mom months ago. Food delivery by door dash . My mom is a tough cookie to please she's from South Louisiana . She really likes the sweet rolls. The rolls (3) to an order when I took my picture I had only one left they are soft and melt in your mouth with sugar loaded on top . Remind me of a doughnut hole only a bit bigger and longer. I've never experienced it tasting like it was deep fried or sweet, just not what I expected and I did not enjoy it. The meal was the best choice (not the one with the drink and appetizer). If you do want a drink, then the drink and the appetizer combo is the better option. Walking in, I did not like the aesthetic. It looked ominous and there was no indoor seating. The cost of a meal was on average 9-13 dollars which is not that bad. Ordering it was easy as it was an assembly line of sorts where you asked for what you want and what your sides would be. The cost of the sides did not seem worth it but the entree itself was good. The taste of the food was there. It was just messy and greasy but it was good for the amount of money that I paid for it. The quality was not there but the food tasted good. The worst part is that you cannot sit here and eat. The service was fast and easy. They put out 20 meals in under 30 minutes. It was insane. All in all, I think it's a good quick meal. Because of the hospital across the street, it can be a little backed around lunch time, but it's not terrible. The food is good, but seems a little expensive for the quality. At any rate, you'll do well to try the general tsao or the lo mein. read more

We tried this place after looking up "Asian food" nearby our new home. We came upon Jade & boy did it not disappoint. Besides parking but we found a spot right out front!! There was a barrier between the employee and customers. Can't really even see their face haha but that's great due to covid! Our food came out super fast - I was a little hesitant due to how fast it came out. Once I opened the package to eat at home I noticed it's not very americanized which is PERFECT! Everything was so fresh, hot and delicious. Even the smells made me nose excited lol. Definitely will be going back and happily suggest Jade Express to friends and family when they visit! read more

We ate here at a recommendation and apparently got the wrong thing but should have known. We got items off the buffet which were just average if that. We were subsequently told that we should have ordered off the menu for better food. The food was bland that we got and the atmosphere equally bland. Overall= bland. read more

I Love this place, me and my wife love the shrimp fried rice, which is loaded with veggies and a lot of shrimp, and the mei fun is excellent, my wife loves the BoBo platter and pork fried rice, my son loves the shrimp fried rice and dumplings and BoBo platter as well. All in all We love Jade Express, the owner and workers, no matter what time of day it is, they always serve you with a smile served along with great hospitality and fast service. No matter when we go, or order online, the food is always fresh, hot, and ready to enjoy. If you order online for pickup or delivery, you might want to add 30 minutes to your waiting time, it's always very slow. Parking is small, shared with subway. Good food. Quick. In and out. You can get a ton of food for a low price in a very short amount of time. Located right across from the LSU Health Sciences Center, this place makes for a great lunch spot for anyone pressed for time. I recommend the lo mein, but when you walk in, you'll be greeted with a spread of hot dishes, usually fresh from the kitchen, including beef & peppers, chicken & broccoli, teriyaki chicken, shrimp & broccoli, sweet & sour chicken, and crab rangoon. Throw in some fried rice and you're good to go. You can sit and eat at a table or go takeout. There are a few drawbacks. The parking isn't ideal because the restaurant shares its location with a Subway, but there are overflow spaces around back. Sometimes you have to wait for certain dishes to be prepared, but you can also ask for something that isn't out front on display and they'll prepare it. It may not be the healthiest meal in the world, but you won't complain about being hungry after eating here. read more
