One thing I especially appreciate is how well she works with my very thick Asian hair. She understands the texture, density, and how to cut it in a way that actually lays well and grows out beautifully. Not every stylist can do that, but Liz absolutely can. She's also mastered my signature look: my Sabrina Carpenter-inspired haircut with bangs. What I love most is that she's always honest. If I come in with a photo or idea that she doesn't think will suit my face shape or features, she'll tell me and help me find a version that works better for me. It always feels like a collaboration, and I trust her completely. The biggest testament to her talent is that strangers regularly stop me on the street to compliment my hair and ask who does it. My answer is always the same: Liz. Highly recommend if you're looking for a stylist who is talented, honest, and truly understands how to make your hair look its best.

I had long hair for the longest time but wanted to try out a much shorter cut, so I mentioned I'm interested in a shorter cut with layers but didn't know what would go well with my long face shape. David responded super quickly saying he was available that night. When I arrived, David was welcoming and personable, very easy to talk to, easing away my nerves. I love that he is very honest with what would look good with your face shape and hair texture. He gave really good suggestions, and we were quickly able to decide on a layered lob. My hair turned out amazing, David takes his time styling for you after shampoo, wash, and cut. My cut still looks great after washing at home without styling in its natural fall over the past day. A gigantic thank you to David and Jackson Place Salon, I highly recommend him! Will be returning for cuts in the future :).

Beautifully colored hair that still feels silky smooth and not dry? Yes please! At the start, I showed her a few pictures for inspiration as it was my first time getting my hair colored. She patiently explained the process and brought out the hair color samples for me to pick. I wasn't sure which ones would suit me the best, so she even provided a bit of artistic consultation. As my first time coloring hair, I was initially worried about my hair drying out from the bleaching and coloring, but she did a great job to protect my hair and keep it moisturized. I've done a couple washings since I've got my hair done and it honestly feels almost exactly like my natural hair before I got it done. The colors blend so beautifully together with streaks of blonde and light brown. I've gotten so many compliments from people. Making me feel like some sort of influencer! I will definitely be coming back. Ask for Angela - she'll definitely make sure your hair is ready to wow. (I didn't take a before photo but it was just my natural long black hair)

I normally don't post on yelp, but I just had to give credit to Jade's work. She is without a doubt, simply AMAZING and knowledgeable in her craft. Check out the pic I posted. I asked her for a subtle medium brown ombre and that's exactly what she gave me. I like that she took her time to consult my hair and explained the process to me. At first, we were in disagreement with how light to go, but she explained that the color will lighten up in a week. This way I would have a longer wear with my color and save money on touch up. My experience with my past colorist, it took three visits in order to get it right. Jade did it in one try. She does appointment only so are guaranteed to have undivided attention. I use to hate it when my past colorist will cut someone's hair while waiting to for my color to set. Another plus, she is very easy going and fun to talk to. read more

If you're getting your kids ready for school, put your phone down. Rude and talent less stylist. That's a shame Latina stylists treat other latinas like that. I thought since we have a similar background, it would be easier for her to do my hair. I would recommend someone else cus she will literally ruin your hair by not even dying up to the root leaving you with a blotchy job & tell you you need to proceed with a color correction to fix it when no stylist in their right mind would color a quarter of inch of hair. Avoid her at all costs and save yourself the trauma she brings. This salon is nothing but a bunch of unhappy people gossiping all day.
