I'm so glad I gave this place a try. Tom did my nails, and he was amazing. He was very gentle, confident, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. My nails came out beautiful, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the moment I walked in, everyone greeted me with smiles, and they got me in right away. The customer service was excellent, and the entire experience was relaxing and welcoming. I also have to mention how comfortable their chairs are! So many nail salons have uncomfortable chairs, but these were incredibly comfortable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I booked a gel manicure & pedicure on June 17th please see time stamp & date for reference so this disputed the owners lies. 5 DAYS LATER Is when I texted her I expected a relaxing appointment. Instead, I spent over three hours in the salon because my nail technician repeatedly got my pedicure color wrong. I specifically requested Funny Bunny and Bubble Bath and even showed multiple reference photos. Despite that, she applied a regular white polish instead of Funny Bunny, and I had to ask several times for corrections. Throughout the appointment, I expressed my concerns to Sharon, the owner. Rather than stepping in to resolve the situation or advocating for me as the paying customer, she repeatedly told me to ask the technician to redo it herself. After multiple failed attempts, the technician eventually refused to continue working on my nails. Instead of fixing the entire pedicure, only a few toes were redone then Sharon stepped in to redo them. After spending three hours there and paying close to $150, I left frustrated and exhausted. The biggest issue came afterward. Since I was going to the beach, Sharon recommended acrylic on my big toenails. I had never had acrylic on my toes before and trusted her professional recommendation. Within days, my big toenail painfully ripped off and bled, and several of the other acrylic toenails began lifting and falling off in less than a week. After researching acrylic toenails, I learned they can place significant stress on the natural nail and, in some cases, lead to injuries like the one I experienced. Had I known the potential risks, I never would have agreed to the service. When I reached out to Sharon to explain what happened and asked how to safely remove the remaining acrylic so I wouldn't risk losing another toenail, I was shocked by her response. Rather than showing concern for my injury or offering to correct the situation, she told me I would have to pay another $15 just to have the acrylic removed. That response told me everything I needed to know about how this business values its customers. There was no apology, no accountability, and no effort to make things right after a service that resulted in an injury. Between the three-hour appointment, repeated mistakes, poor customer service, lack of professionalism, and being asked to pay even more after my toenail broke and bled, I cannot recommend Jade Nail Salon. I was a returning customer who gave this salon another chance, and unfortunately, it confirmed why I stopped coming in the first place. I hope the owner starts prioritizing customer care and accountability, because no client should leave a salon injured and then be asked to pay even more to fix the salon's mistake. I've been coming here every two to three weeks for the past several months, and Sharon has truly been wonderful. I normally get a mani and pedi, and recently I started getting gel-X as well and she has done an exceptional job every time. She is very accommodating, pays attention to what I ask for, and never makes me feel rushed. What I appreciate most is that she genuinely cares whether I'm happy with the final result. If I notice anything I would like changed or adjusted, she takes care of it without hesitation and makes sure I leave completely satisfied. I went in to get my old gel x nails removed. I looked at the wall (the photo you see here), and it says "Gel Removal $10". I tell them I need Gel X removal. They sit me down and she says $15. I said, the wall says $10. She says something I can't understand and says $15. I asked someone else why $15 if the wall says $10 and she also tries to explain to me but the language barrier doesn't help. I still sat down to get them removed because I needed them gone by tomorrow and wouldn't make it back to my original nail salon in time before they closed. I stopped in to get an acrylic fill. I was told I could do that. And then halfway through the service, I realized they were doing a gel fill, which I did not want for a few few different reasons. The nail tech said he could not do them because he is allergic, which is fine, but I wish I would've known that, I would not have gotten them done. I've always had a bad experience with gel nails, and also gel X but every time I tell a nail tech that I do not want to do gel they always say "it's better". Once he started painting I'll let him know I did not like it and it did not look good. He just added more coats and told me it looked good. I let them know that at this point I would rather take off nails, but I was ignored. He finished and they came out as I expected by this time, which is I'm not a fan of. And after closer inspection, I realize that he painted over my cuticle so now the gel has already started coming off on one of my nails and it's only been like an hour. $60 read more

I'm really disappointed to be writing this because I genuinely enjoyed this salon for the first six months I was coming here. The hospitality was great, and I never had an issue until recently. About three weeks ago, I developed a fungal infection on my toenails that has now altered the appearance of my nails. This has never happened to me in my life. I'm a model, and my appearance is a major part of my work and bookings. Both of my toenails became discolored, and when I brought it to their attention, I was blamed for "wearing tight shoes" and having "long nails hitting my shoes," which is honestly disrespectful and inaccurate. I've been an athlete my entire life and have had long natural nails many times before without ever experiencing anything like this. I went to the doctor, and I was told the infection most likely came from unsanitary tools or improper application during my service. I still tried to give the salon another chance and returned three weeks later. Unfortunately, the issue then spread from my toenails to my fingernail. When I went back to explain what was happening, instead of taking accountability or showing concern, they again tried to blame me--even after I explained I had medical confirmation that this was not caused by shoes or lifestyle. I requested a refund and informed them I would be reporting this to the Board of Cosmetology if the issue wasn't addressed. I haven't received any response. Now I'm being told my nail may be discolored for the next 6-8 months, which directly affects my ability to book work with nail and beauty brands. That's income and opportunity lost because of something that could have been prevented with proper sanitation and professionalism. I truly enjoyed this place before this incident, but I would not recommend it. If something goes wrong, you will be blamed instead of supported. read more

Considering I had a busy weekend I wasn't able to call until today Monday, I explained that gel should not be chipping only a week later. I'd understand if I got regular polish that was chipping but gel should not have flaked away that easily. She said oh well water and how you take care of them and we aren't fixing anything for free. Bear with me y'all, I knows it's lengthy but you're gonna appreciate this warning. I've been a diligently paying customer at Sharon's Jade Nail Bar Salon for 7 months. While the first few months of service, Sharon (the owner) displayed acceptable customer service skills, a friendly and welcoming environment, those same qualities have since taken a HORRENDOUS turn for the worse. Once Sharon was content in knowing she had me as a returning (bi weekly for the past 7 months) reliable customer, she became very rude, impatient, argumentative (when SHE made a mistake with my nails). My last visit I explained to her I don't like gel x nails. I've always worn my natural nails (which she was 100 percent privy to) and wanted a simple gel manicure with hard gel overlay ($65). Yet she insisted on me getting the gel x (also $65) & needless to say, I hated them. I expressed my dislike (very respectfully of course) and this lady (SHARON) to me "I do nothing wrong. I'm always right". I was stunned lol. Like genuinely STUNNED! Fast forward to one of her employees seeing how visibly overwhelmed and dissatisfied I was, she offered to redo them. AGAINNN, I asked EVEN HER, for my usual gel manicure with hard gel over lay and well, her finishing product was no where as HIDEOUS as Sharons work, but she still did the gel x & I walked out of there paying $65 for nails I absolutely hated. Not at all content or happy with spending my hard earn money on the TERRIBLE service I receive, I contacted Sharon to express how unpleased I was. I suggested that a $5, ONLY FIVEEEEE DOLLAR, discount be applied to my next service for this one wasn't at ALL what I paid for. Sharon very rudely told me "No Talor. I can not do. I don't know what's wrong with you. We fix two times and we can't fix or discount anymore. You make me lose all my money" SHOCKED after the thousands of dollars I spent patronizing her business (I was one of her VERY FIRST SUPPORTERS. I met Sharon 5 days after her grand opening) and this is how she speaks to someone who has been nothing short of kind, consistent, & respectful to her and her staff? Her ego is so mammoth that she treated who should be considered a VALUED customer like trash. Needless to say, shell never get another dime out of me and that sucks for Judy and a few more of her employees because they've been great to be.
