If I could give negative stars I would ! This place is only good at one thing, ripping people off!! My sister went in to ask for a full set and how much the starting price was, the lady said $30. It's a little more than the usual starting off price I've seen but we settled. Once we were done, the lady wants to charge $51 for just one full set.. Not only did I not get a design or long shaped nails, but I didn't even get a gel color, and this lady says it's going to be $51 ! That was the most outrageous thing I had ever heard. After arguing with her about the price I paid the money and told her that I'm not cheap, I just don't like when people have to rip off new customers like that. If I would have the best manicure with designs, gel the works I wouldn't question the price. Biggest Mistake of going here. Don't go here unless you want to be ripped off for a basic quality mani. If you haven't gone in lately, give them another try. They recently changed management, and have repainted and cleaned and freshened up the look and feel of the shop. They bought all new mani/pedi chairs that are state-of-the art. The waxing room in the back is clean and freshly painted. They are always very welcoming and walk-ins are accomodated as quickly as possible. I think the new management is really working on bringing up the speed and level of service. read more

That place was the worst I've been at.I told them what I wanted and they said it was ugly gave another option and they said the same thing. When I told him to make it round they did a horrible job and they would not let me get a refund and they said that they would redo my nails even though I did not want them to. So I decide to go to LA nails which is the place I go to for now on because it's the best compared to jades which sucks. read more

I would give this salon a "0" if it were possible. My 12 year old daughter and I have been to Jade Nails a few times in the past. Hasn't been the best, but it was alright for being so close and convenient. However, today, they were SO RUDE that I had to come home and write a review. The lady who did my nails simply looked and acted annoyed the entire time. She and the lady doing my daughter's nails were so rude to my daughter, that she began to get teary and cry. My daughter asked for a gold color on her toes, with a design on one toe. This is a request that is very common, as we have done this before when we came to this salon. However, for whatever reason, today, when my daughter asked the lady for that, she and the lady doing my nails, broke out into hysterics, laughing and just looking at my daughter and then laughing more and more. It was unbelievable. They were speaking in their native language the entire time while laughing and just looking at me and my daughter. That was it! I stopped the pedicures immediately and spoke with the lady who has her own table right by the front window. I asked to speak to her outside privately. I explained what happened and she did apologize, but thought that I had misunderstood them since they were speaking in their native language. I made it very clear that we had NOT mistaken anything. I told her that I was not going to pay full price, since we stopped before any painting or massage. She said that she would go ask the ladies about the price. They had run off to the back of the salon. Instead of her coming back to tell me the price, she sent my rude lady out to have me pay. I looked at my rude lady, eye to eye, and asked her if she understood that SHE and HER COWORKER were the REASON that we were leaving. . . and that their rude behavior had caused my daughter to get very upset and uncomfortable. She did not have anything to say, except to explain the discount that she was giving me for the price. NO APOLOGY AT ALL! So, needless to say, we will NEVER return to this salon again! read more

I started going to this nail salon a couple of months ago because my favorite nail lady, Tricia started working here. She is now the new OWNER! Tricia has already made some wonderful, much needed changes. She no longer charges the .75 charge for credit card use and now you can tip on your credit card. Before the owner charged for cc use and didn't allow tipping on cc transactions. Tricia has purchased all new spa pedicure chairs to replace the old, non-working ones that the old owner wouldn't replace. Tricia has also cleaned up the place a lot and is still in the process of doing more. She bought new OPI polish, which the salon never had OPI before. She is very polite and welcoming. She is a much needed change for this salon! She also replaced the chairs customers sit in while getting their nails done to more comfy, leather chairs. She has already improved this salon so much! She is the only reason I started going there because all of the other reviewers are right, this place was dirty and they used dirty files on people because the owner was too cheap to get new ones for every customer. That no longer happens. They also have warm massage lotion for manicures and pedicures and warm towels! (This was not how it was with the old owner). All in all, Tricia is exactly what this place needed to be spruced up! read more

I started going to Jade nails not long after they opened. I lived just up the street in Canyon Hills. I always had a great experience and was very happy with the service and the way my mani/pedi came out. I have since moved to the OC, and have not found ANYONE that does my nails as good. And I have tried a BUNCH of places. So now I make it my monthly routine to drive out to my old neighborhood just so I can have an awesome manicure! read more

I've been to Jade lots of times and walked away with great costumer service and a great experience, but this time was on of the worst. I was getting a pedicure and it took about 30 minutes after I sat down in the chair that I was finally started working on. And while the lady was doing my nails she answered a personal call on her cell phone and left my wet feet to go get food. She returned with a jack in the box bag and when into the back room and didn't return for several minutes. (No doubt eating). I will return to Jade because not all workers are as rude as this one was but I am definitely not happy. read more

Love this place all the ladies are so friendly and made me feel so welcomed and at ease. They did a great job, getting tons of compliments on mani pedi. This place is horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went in to get a full set the lady told me a full set clear is $25 and then they have to charge me full price for gel color also so the total was going to be $60. I was blown away that it was going to be that expensive so I said forget it and didn't even finish my nails I figured I would paint them myself. The lady finished filing them and when I went to the register she said a clear full set was going to be $35 after she already said that a clear full set was going to be $25. I was PISSED!!!!!!! Ecspecially when pink and white full sets are usually $35-45 and a she was trying to charge me $35 for a clear full set!!!!! I looked at the pricing sheet and on there it says a clear full set is $25 I demanded my money back and told them I wouldn't ever be back!!!!!!! The lady tried to overcharge me for NO REASON!! I have been in this place 3 times now and the customer service is terrible!! I was hoping to like it better each time because of its convenient location but sadly the location is the only good thing about it. They never welcome you when you walk in and will let you sit there for a half hour not knowing how long you will have to wait before they acknowledge you, let alone do your nails. Today another lady walked in because she had an appointment and they told her to come back in 10 minutes. She came back and sat in her chair and they continued to ignore her. She finally had to ask loudly across the store if they had any idea when they would be ready or how much longer. No response. They must have finally gotten a time frame that I didn't hear because she finally said " I wish you would have told me that 10 minutes ago ". She got up and left. I decided to get up and leave too as my mom and I sat there for a half hour without any acknowledgement. Terrible terrible customer service. They thrive only because of location. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Maybe if everyone follows suit the place will either have to start giving better customer service or change ownership to people who give a darn. read more
