Ok. So compared to Umami this place is so much more inviting. The staff was real friendly. They have a wide selection of food: Chinese, sushi menu , Thai and Indian. I had my mind on a dish and manager/ owner suggested something else (thats not on menu) and it did not disappoint. I forgot the name but it was chicken and rice noodles. Husband also ordered something he suggested that consisted of basil and chicken which was SO GOOD! OH and our dish came with rice and soup (hot and sour) which was thee best hot and sour soup I've had!! Service was excellent. Place seemed clean and food was superb ! We will be back! read more

Food was definitely not good. Wonton soup was dumplings with no filling. Egg foo young was 3 hamburger size scrambled egg patties with vegetables and sauce on top. Would not recommend. Especially not for the money! read more

Food is alway hot & fresh, service is quick & friendly. I haven't eaten a dish here that I didn't like.

Outside leaves little to be desired but the inside is surprisingly not bad at all. The food is very fresh tasting! Also, the chile paste/sauce is homemade and yummy. Typical size portions as with any Chinese restaurants. I would be back. Cost is average. read more

Ate at my usual staple in Bellevue, NE called Jade Palace. I'm a frequent guest and this time I ordered Generals Chicken, hot and sour soup, and Crab Rangoon. Service is usually good unless they get busy (typical for most places). My daughter really enjoys their chicken and broccoli! I would recommend this place to others. It's a rather small restaurant with a single waitress. The waitress is very nice, but being the only person to care for the customers, the service is rather slow. There is also someone that busses the tables, but it takes awhile for the tables to be cleaned. When my family and I walked in, several tables had not been cleaned. Only 12 minutes later, when the waitress finally got around to taking our order, did the tables get cleaned. The food wasn't anything special, I've had much better at several different places, but the price was cheaper than most. I ordered the #41 Peanut Butter Chicken with steamed rice. The peanut butter completely overpowered the chicken, it tasted like I was eating a giant clump of warm peanut butter balls. The sweet an sour soup wasn't good at all, too sweat and not sour at all. My final verdict is that this is just another everyday Chinese restaurant. I can't say I won't recommend it, but I won't recommend it either. Mediocre is the best way to describe every aspect of this restaurant. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was especially tasty to warrant a trip back. I ordered the spicy pork bulgogi, but it was 75% large slices of carrots and 25% rubbery pork drenched in a spicy sauce that definitely was not the marinade flavors that are used to make bulgogi the correct way. My boyfriend ordered a large plate of sushi that was nearly warm. All of the ingredients we tasted between our two dishes had an odd, cheap taste. read more

Solid choice! I ordered the SPICY BULGOGI PORK, SWEET & SOUR CHICKEN, EGG-ROLLS, and CRAB RANGOONS. It was all really good. First time having bulgogi...I liked it. Their rangoons are on the sweet side (other places make a more savory variety). They offer some Malay and Thai items, so I'm looking forward to going back to try something different. read more

We wanted Asian food but didn't want to drive into Omaha. Unfortunately, not much is on offer in Papillion and Bellevue. The staff were very attentive and nice but the food was subpar. We started with the appetizer dumplings and the sauce tasted off. Both of our entrees were a good size but the quality just wasn't there. read more

Jade Palace has new ownership, so some of the older reviews can be ignored. This restaurant offers a variety of Chinese, Korean, and a few Malaysian foods. Everything I have tried is very good, particularly the mongolian beef which I asked them to add spice. They owner was concerned about making my dish spicy and asked me to try to to ensure it was perfect, offering to make me something different if I didn't like it. The portions are large enough to share or take some home with you and the prices are reasonable. The staff is very concerned about its customers and will remember you if you come back. This is not typical of most restaurants who always change staff, ownership, waiters/waitresses. The only negative I can think of is the lack of a alcohol license, so they no longer serve beer or wine. read more

Not Afraid to be Vegan Friendly Reason enough to come back, on their online menu they actually list which dishes are-SHOCK-VEGAN!! Not afraid to serve cruelty free dishes. Tofu proudly listed as an ingredient in several dishes, no need to ask for it as a meat substitute, but I did and ordered Broccoli Beef with Tofu instead of beef which my kids loved. Extensive menu which included not just Chinese but Malaysian, Korean and Indian dishes, too! I cannot tell you if the food preparation was quick or not as the restaurant was not busy and I had such a wonderful chat with the delightful staff that I did not mind any wait I had. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. The tofu was cooked well with a nice, crispy outside. Omnivore visitors with us have enjoyed their meals, too. Adults and teens were all pleased by the dishes. My only complaint is that they batch cook the fried rice available as a side for their lunch menu so they would not make a batch without egg for us, and that indicates it might not be as fresh as rice made at order time. We were planning to eat at the Korean place nearby, but it was closed, so we decided to eat at this place instead. From the reviews and outside appearance, we were prepared to force our stomachs into some generic Americanized Chinese food, but then we were wonderfully surprised! The three dishes we ordered were rich in flavor, texture, and taste! Portion size is good too. In addition to some common Chinese dishes, they also have Korean, Thai, Indian, and Malaysian curry dishes. We chatted with the waitress (in Chinese Mandarin), and asked what she recommends. We ended up ordering Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, and Eggplant Curry (?), and asked them to go easy on the spiciness. Both the Mongolian Beef and Kung Pao Chicken are tasty with plenty of vegetables. This is not the type of place that uses the same sauce for all their dishes, each dish we ordered has its unique texture and flavor. The surprise comes with the Eggplant Curry dish. The eggplants are cut into small pieces, lightly battered, and sit on top of white (or yellow) curry. We like this dish very much, and really amazed by the combination of curry and the crunchiness of curry. The waitress highly recommended this dish to us and we were very happy that we listened to her advice! Setting/Decoration: 3 Friendliness/Service: 5 Food: 4.5 Although they don't have a Chinese menu with some fancy named "traditional" dishes. If I could give a zero I would. This place rates high and I will tell you it is not. The sevice was great and the manager was great, but the food is not good. The hot and sour soup is way to thick and sour with a burnt horrible taste. The egg roles were burnt and not very tasty. The fried rice was not good at all. The noodles were too oily and lacked flavor, they also had hair in them. The chicken and vegetable dish I had lacked flavor also and several egg shells in it and the dish did not contain eggs. I ended wasting money and throwing everything out. Will never go there again and do not reccomend, which is something I have never done. read more

My husband and I lived around 60th and L so we frequented China Song which is bomb grubbage. However we moved to Bellevue and to long a drive for China Song so we tried a few around here. Most were disguting with not only lack if flavor but just not made right with proper veggies etc. We had but one place left to try and that was Jade Palace. OMG thank you for cooling Asian Foods correctly. My husband loves the Sesame Chicken and Im a fan of Hunan Shrimp extra spicy. And Hot and Sour soup actually made with good flavor. Sweet and Sour Pork and Egg Foo Young are delicious too. Fast, Hot and large quantity. Drive through feature we absolutely love. We call ahead and do pickup through the drive through. Our family was in the area and craving Chinese, read a few yelp posts and decided on this place (big plus on the drive-thru). It is true the outside leaves a lot to be desired, but since when has that ever been an issue considering the diciest places are more than occasionally known to kill the taste buds. The menu board suggests asking for a full menu and they were kind enough to bring one to the car. Ordered items: Mongolian beef; it was sweet, sweeter than most but we didn't mind, and loaded with onions - like an entire onion and a quarter pound of thinly sliced beef (delicious and wish we had more). Chicken pad thai; in fairness I am half Thai but if your expecting pad thai this isn't it. The dish is not bad, again very very sweet, but it lacked the profile of a traditional pad thai as well as the proper thickness of noodle. Also, the rice noodles were boiled (I know this because they were sticking together and falling to pieces - you should always soak your rice noodles in water to tenderize or buy fresh noodles) Tofu bulgolgi; I had never heard of making bulgolgi with tofu and decided to give it a shot; carrots and sweet pea pods with deep fried tofu in a sweet sauce. This was not a bad dish, but no flavors of bulgolgi. The fried rice that came with the meals was border line dry with no peas or eggs or any of the usual suspects when getting the good ol'side of fried rice. Literally rice with some soy sauce so just get steamed rice. Service was incredible. The server was sweet and professional. Good serving sizes (aside from the overly onioned beef) and reasonable prices. We may be back, but will likely eat in as we may have been 'screwed through the drive-thru'. If we do return I hope to give more stars because the service was lovely. read more

First, let me start off that I am not a big fan of American-Chinese food. I find most of it highly greasy and salty, and high in fat and sugar. With that said, if I have to eat Chinese food, I enjoy this place the most. The family that owns the restaurant is very nice and I think they care about the quality of their ingredients. The service is always great and friendly. Moreover, the food is always fresh and hot. I also enjoy the chicken, pork, and beef meats used in the dishes. They do not taste prepackaged, but actually seem fresh. I enjoy the Broccoli Beef the most. The broccoli is always cooked just right and the sauce is not thick and syrupy. It's very delicious. Moreover, they give good serving sizes and reasonable prices. Like I said, I am not a big fan of midwestern Chinese food, but I will eat the food here. read more

I've also had the mongolian beef (it was okay) and their sweet & sour soup (really good). 2nd time this week for Sushi. The place could use a update as a first impression. The service was excellent and made sure i could pay with american express card because my company pays for it. Which they do accept. I ordered my normal test rolls. Instead of tuna, i went and got the Spicy Yellowtail roll and Rainbow roll. I was impressed with the presentation. Im not a fan of the crunchy filling in the yellow tail roll but they somehow pulled it off. It was actually good to me. The rainbow roll also looked amazing and was really good. If you see my last review of Umami. The place is well up to date but their sushi rolls are a bit small which turned me off.
