First time coming to this nail salon and I loved it so much! They were very nice and helpful, Connie hooked my nails up! I just moved to the area so I was hesitant to try a new spot in Clearwater but this is the place to go to. They take sanitation very serious which I appreciate which is why they probably are a bit pricey. I got the bubbly pedicure by Connie which was amazing, she cleaned my cuticles very well. She took her time. Then I showed her a picture of what I wanted for my nails and she executed it better than the picture I showed her. She was very attentive and friendly. Fantastic salon, great options and good prices too. I went in after work excited to see they were open later than most, only to find out an hour after they closed at 8:30 pm that the hours are wrong in their website AND on yelp! I felt bad for asking for my services but no one told me! I did come in around 6:30 without an appointment and was seated and helped right away. Great customer service and I'm happy with the results. The only reason I continue going to this salon is because of Angela. She's an absolutely amazing nail tech and extremely sweet. If you show her a pic, you get exactly what you show her. Her attention to detail is amazing. The actual salon itself is not ran very well by management and ownership. You are made to feel like an inconvenience with an appointment and then wait when you get in. Not very friendly but highly recommend seeing Angela. read more

When J'Adore opened last October, I was thrilled to find a salon that I loved. I loved their look, the customer service, the limitless nail color options, and my results every time. Helen and Wen were my go-to techs. I thought it was such a nice touch that the owner was friendly, well-dressed, energetic and engaged with clients, offering little extras like snacks and desserts throughout the nail experience. I even saw an employee light up with joy once when the owner bought her a designer clutch for her birthday. It just exceeded expectations and I happily paid more for it. I'm writing to help the owner understand my recent experiences there to see where adjustments can be made to get back to what I used to love. The last two times my gel manicures have been very rushed by different techs. Two weeks ago was Tiffany who was so pleasant and friendly but in a rush to leave, so my nails reflected that. Today I went and had a gel manicure with Tam that left me disappointed again. My cuticles were barely touched after 10 seconds in water and the gel polish is light near my cuticles and darker/thicker at the ends. My mom's nails finished just before mine and there were 3 employees hovering over us quietly as if to get us out the door at 6:45pm. I'm not a complainer by nature, but I did share with them that I was unhappy with how the nails turned out (which I never do typically.) They asked if I wanted another coat added and I said no because I didn't think it would fix the problem, and I knew they were closing soon. The response was that if I refused to offer the extra coat there was nothing they could do. I'm really disappointed because I used to LOVE this salon and tell all my girlfriends. I hope the owner reads this and sees that I'm just a customer offering some insight to help improve the experience to get back to what it was a year ago when it opened. This is my first time I've come here, after seeing pictures of it online and the reviews were great. First off the "receptionist "are no older than the age of 14. They were very unknowledgeable of what they were doing and had no clue how to help me book an appointment. At 2:45 PM I asked when the next appointment is for a full set of acrylics and they said we have six bookings at 1:30 PM. I don't really understand how that's relevant? After waiting for over 25 minutes they told us to pick nail colors. I was with my friend and specifically asked on the phone to be sat next to her, that is why I called ahead because I know it is difficult for two nail techs to have openings right next to each other. Once they started they said there was no way that we could sit next to each other and it caused a commotion. I asked for coffin shape nails which I've had the shape over the course of three years and I do not think that these nails represent a coffin shape. Every single nail looks like a different Shape, thickness , width. My ring finger it looks like a square oval and you cannot tell in the pictures but in real life the edges are very crooked and lumpy and un-uniform. The nails are extremely thick and she charged me five dollars extra for coffin shape without telling me. She would refuse to let me have regular nail polish and insisted that I got gel, so I had to change my colors and not even get the colors I wanted. It was $45, I am just very picky but I did not think the service was great at all especially compared to the reviews on here. read more

I really wanted to like this salon. It is beautiful inside and the staff are nice. Professionalism is lacking with regard to respecting clients' time. This is my second time here WITH an appointment that I have had to wait an extremely long time for a service. I had an appointment for a manicure today at 3:00. It is 3:50 and I am still waiting. The last time I was here I had an appointment to get my brows waxed after getting my nails done and I had to wait over an hour to get into the waxing room. We left and got lunch and they said they would call me when they were ready but they never did. That being said, my gel manicure turned out nicely the first time I was here. I won't be back, though. Nice ambiance and the front desk team greeted as soon as you entered the establishment. As a walk-in, I was able to be seated with no wait. I truly enjoyed the deluxe package; especially the warm scrub and hotel towels. Unfortunately, the nail tech talked, laughed and giggled none- stop with the nail tech next to her. This salon gave me PINK EYE after LASH EXTENSIONS!! I had my lash extension done on April 3rd and the lashes were so awfully done by an obviously inexperienced technician. the eyelash extensions were way too long and two uneven and too thick to the point that they look like aged paint brushes that needed to be thrown out. The technician, Angela went ahead and trimmed the god-awful lashes and it made it look even worse if that was possible! I was so horrified when she showed me my the lash extensions in a mirror and so I asked for her to remove them! The solution that she used to dissolve the glue from the eyelash extension stung my eyes so bad that it felt like a she was using acetone or alcohol on my eyeballs! The next day I woke up with conjunctivitis (pink eyes) and I had to go to an urgent care to get antibiotics for my eyes! Stay away from the salon if you want to get a professional eyelash extension! read more

If I could rate this as zero stars, I would. I had an appointment, but waited for 38 minutes. The pedicure water was barely lukewarm and they allowed it to overflow all over the floor. It was the most rushed pedicure I have ever had... And the manicure was even worse. The pedicure took 20 minutes and the manicure took nine minutes. Very nice place like everyone has mentioned in previous reviews. I decided to do the VIP it is a bit pricey for pedicure but they didn't cut any expenses. It was a full relaxation of foot relaxation separate from the salon. It was peaceful. Along with a decent red wine. Not out the of the box wine if you know what I mean. My nails were done by wen and she put special touches and made sure they were perfect. We tried a new product that is known to be natural and stronger than dip. Being a huge dip fan I was sceptic but in the end I really liked the out come. My nails feel so natural and in a couple of weeks I will see how well they hold up. Every month they have a special and they honor their work. So if anything should go wrong with your nails you can come back and they will fix I was told. I can't wait to go back. One more thing... I noticed they definitely take their appointments seriously so I would make an appointment and it's really very easy on their website. Plus they send you reminder texts and confirmations. If I could give this rating a 0 I would!! I get to the salon and the guy at the front desk is very nice. When the technician comes to get me a few minutes later, her whole demeanor was awful. Scowling, body language and attitude. I told her I needed a pink fill and she snapped we have to take everything off then since you've never been here before. I told her I was fine with the pinks not matching perfectly, but this was a new set and I would not be taking them off. She then tosses a ring of colors at me and says try to find a pink then. I asked to see the powders and she starts arguing about how I just needed to figure it out from the ring. At this point I got up and left. So much for wanting to have a new customer. No way I would let this lady do my nails after this interaction! You are much better off to go across the parking lot to TNL nails. Very nice and did an amazing job! read more

This is a brand new salon and it looks gorgeous. The owner is extremely friendly and willing to ensure that each guest is happy with their service! I went with my daughter for a manicure with Gel polish. I was immediately impressed with the decor as we walked in. I am deaf and they were more than happy to move things around so I was able to sit next to my daughter. The ladies were very nice and did an awesome job. I've been going to this place consistently for a few months now and never had a problem until my last trip here. I asked for a french manicure and the nail tech suggested to do the dip powder since it lasts much longer even though it is a more than a shellac manicure. (Little did I know they would chip within 2 days) While she was doing the tips I let her know I really did not like the shape and how inconsistent the nails were. Some were long and some were short, some tips were thin and some were thick. She told me to "trust the process". She didn't clean up the nails before putting on a top coat, causing there to be nail file dust trapped on my nails. I repeatedly told her I didn't like them and all she told me was that I can come back and they'll take it off for free. I was going out of town for a few days so I couldn't go back immediately. Now today I called and explained to the manager that I was unhappy and didn't want to come back. She once again offered to take them off for free but since I really did not want to return I told her that I would prefer a refund and to take my business else where. The manager gave me a bit of an attitude and just kept repeating that there's really nothing she could do about it. If I could give this place negative stars I would. So disappointing that all they care about is taking your money regardless if you leave unhappy. read more

I moved here in August 2020, and I have given J'Adore so many chances. I had a great person that I worked with for a long time there named David, but unfortunately, he left. I've tried so many other people, and they've all either messed up my nails, messed up my heels so that I had to wear Band-Aids (Mary), and the management has been terrible. I've tried and tried over and over again to give them a chance. I've communicated my concerns and none have been alleviated or corrected. On my third try there, it was my wedding and I brought in my bridesmaids for mani/pedi's and unfortunately the manager Kong set one of my bridesmaids up with David instead of having him for me as I requested. The person I had (Louis) goofed up my French manicure and lost the polish I had chosen for my toes, he spent 15 minutes looking for it and then chose something else. When I realized it was the wrong color, he re-did it but charged me an extra $15! Not only did I have a terrible looking French manicure for my wedding, but I wasted so much of my day before my wedding having my nails done and re-done. Every time I've spoken with the manager, Kong, he's been unprofessional, argumentative and clueless. He told me he can't help me with my problems! Can you imagine a manager speaking to their clients like that? One other manager, Angela, was once helpful. I tried to go to a different manicurist once David left with someone who had helped him on my nails before who was decent. Once, I had to leave early midway-through for a business meeting. I paid for it and the manicurist I had said no problem, come back and she would finish the polish. I did go back after calling for the polish appointment with her. When I came in for my appointment, they told me she didn't work on those days! When I told the manager, Kong, what had happened, he refused to acknowledge their mistake in scheduling and refused to have someone polish my nails. I've had this happen once before at my prior salon, and the manger actually did the polish for me. In 30 years of salon services, I've never had such bad service repeatedly until J'Adore. I found a new place called Bay Nail Spa, and I highly recommend that everybody in the Largo area go there instead of J'Adore. Bay Nail Spa has excellent service, it has an extremely calm and quiet atmosphere, it's meticulous about their cleanliness, the management (Tina) is phenomenal-highly professional and my mani/pedi's and service there is flawless! read more

I have been here before and it was good service i came recently and i got a gel pedi and then came in a few days later and got a gel mani the pedi was great color still looks good a week and half later however my nails started chipping two days later. I am very disappointed because gel polish should last minimum 2 weeks. read more
