Didn't get the placement of the body right and faulty instructions on posture. Blamed it on the shoulders being too big. As the imaging head rotates it hit my shoulders. Didn't explain the correct placement and the killer was she forgot the lead body shield. I was too stupid to notice. Nice dose of ionizing radiation. The second time got the body position correct arms grabbing the handles. Third time a new person got the position still not right, only got half the tooth. They blamed it on the machine. Operator error. They resorted to a regular xray machine. They gave a discount after I complained they were charging for a 3d xray which they never used. Doc said some of the data was useful so partial charge. 4 xray doses, one unprotected. For a cracked tooth they cant treat. Not a good feeling of competence. They should practice on some boxes first instead of live patients.

My treatment was complex, but my first root canal was painless after a week. They walked me through multiple assessments, and we agreed on a plan to save my second tooth before committing to another root canal. My recovery is 6 months before follow up, and my dentist confirmed the infection site is healing nicely after only one month. The pressure's practically gone now, and I'm expecting bone growth within a few months. Recovery is the patient's responsibility, but this office provides quality care and sets you up for success. In summary, Dr. Yang has absolutely earned my five-star rating! His office is clean, and the front desk staff and assistants are all very friendly and professional. Most importantly, Dr. Yang was able to diagnose the root cause of my problem within just a few minutes. He explained my dental issue in detail and immediately sent the report to both me and my dentist. I only paid the consultation fee and an X-ray fee -- that's it! Dr. Yang saved me hundreds of dollars by not recommending an unnecessary cone beam CT scan. He also did not pressure me into paying thousands of dollars for root canal treatment when it was not necessary at this time. Dr. Yang is a very honest and trustworthy endodontist. That tooth was difficult with tiny calcified canals that take experience to handle. My second root canal started recently and Dr. Yang takes his time and proceeds with care. He took the time to explain the process and make sure my questions were fully answered. All of the staff are incredibly kind and helpful as well, they checked up on me to make sure I received the prescription for my pain medications. I was extremely nervous coming in because it's my first ever root canal treatment but Dr. Monzavi is great and I felt comfortable during the treatment. He checks on you throughout the treatment to make sure you are OK and that the procedure is painless, then after the treatment thoroughly reviews with you what has been done and what the next steps are. I had 2 appointments so far (due to the severity of the infection) and each of them took less than an hour which is way quicker than what I expected. They scheduled me another follow-up appointment to check on the healing progress. You can tell the people here care about their patients. I was not going to waste any time so I was trying really hard to keep my patience & my composure with kindness to keep this procedure going until this Bruce Jespersen's rudeness kicked badly and was so unnecessarily aggressive with how he spoke with me and so unprofessional. I was so shocked. I was in tears because I could not believe how he acted towards me lol I'm laughing because I'm thinking about it now and I'm just like WOW this guy is unbelievable!!! It all started because I needed a root canal in my very back top tooth. So therefore, I know I need to keep my mouth wide open, but I can only keep it open very wide for so long. I tried my very best to do that, but he was pretty much yanking on my mouth to keep it open. I told him after a while that my jaw was hurting and he kept telling me open wide open wide. You can't keep it 2/3 open for me to work on it if you want this root canal done then you need to open wide and I told him my jaw is hurting. I can't keep opening it so wide can you put something in there to keep it open and he said no we don't have anything and I told him well. My jaw is hurting. My neck is hurting. I felt like he started to be rude and he wasn't taking my words and my feelings into consideration and finally told me well. You can go somewhere else and just did not care. I was in tears because of how he was talking to me. He was just super rude. He finally got up, took his gloves off and was just super aggressive. I broke out in more tears and I started shaking because his energy and his aggressive communication was just so horrible. I just could not believe how he was talking to me. He said there will be no charge for this. You can go somewhere else I just broke down. I had an anxiety attack. His assistant was Comforting me and told me to take my time and was just saying whatever he was saying to support me I don't even remember what all he was saying because I was just in full shock mind you I got the two shots in my mouth to numb the area and I just had to leave. I walked out of there in FULL TEARS and had to call my original dentist and tell them what happened And now I have to find another specialist to finish this root canal. I don't know if he was just having a horrible day, but whatever it was I hope this DOES NOT happen to another patient!
