Let me start of my saying that I am very skeptical of chiropractors to begin with, and I only had…read moreone treatment from Dr. Paiso. So please take my review with a grain of salt. However, I wanted to post this review so that future new patients have some idea of what questions to ask. In particular, I'd recommend asking up front about the treatment schedule. He was recommended by my massage therapist, who promised he was very gentle and worked miracles. I was suffering from migraines. On the first appointment, we chatted for a while, and I was sent to another office to get X-rays. He didn't do any adjustments. In our discussion, Dr. Paiso did not seem to be very knowledgeable about migraines. He said I had stress headaches. Certainly stress is a factor in migraines, so I did not argue. Dr. Paiso wanted me to come back the same day, but I didn't have time. So I returned a few days later. He showed me my x-rays, which I didn't think looked that bad. Especially since the other doctor didn't tell me how to sit for the pictures. There was no degeneration whatsoever. One picture showed no tilt, and the other showed some small tilt. The side picture showed that I had "military neck" which might be better known as iPad neck. :-) He then proceeded to a very hard sales pitch which really put me off. He showed me pictures of other people that had not gotten his treatments and how bad their necks had become. Then he gave me one small test treatment and wanted me to return the next day. I wasn't sure of my schedule, so we texted later and failed to reconnect. The first treatment was not as gentle as I had expected. It was several hard taps on the base of my neck. My back, neck, and shoulder ached for the next 6 weeks. After failing to reconnect, I finally went back to Dr. Paiso about 1 or 2 weeks later. We hadn't really talked about the entirety of the treatment plan, but I was getting the sense that it would be one than one or two visits. I asked him in advance to explain to me what was in store. He wanted many months of visits, starting with 3 visits per week for a month, then ramping down slowly for 2 more months. I would have also needed two more sets of head x-rays. There was just no way this was feasible for my schedule, and I didn't want anymore x-rays. I also asked about the pain that I had been feeling since my first "trial" treatment, and Dr. Paiso said that was like the pain of a work out. You have to have some pain to feel better. This was not like the pleasant ache of hard-worked muscles, but an uncomfortable pain, so I did not agree. On the plus side, Dr. Paiso never charged me anything. I only paid for the x-rays by the other doctor. He has a nice demeanor, and I have no doubt that he completely believed he could help me. I was not willing to commit to many months of frequent treatments to find out if he was right or not. Sorry that I don't have the positive sentiments of the other reviewers.

I liked that Dr. Ma really took their time adjusting my whole body and putting tape on my shoulder. Reserve extra time for your appointment. It's worth it! My pilates teacher commented that my stubborn lower back was more flexible than it's ever been since I started pilates a year ago. Then I told her about Dr. Ma and how I only had one session. Dr. Ma explained how since part of my back was twisted, it could be affecting my internal organs. Icing on the cake: my digestion greatly improved after one session.

I was referred to her by a friend in 2020 after dealing with chronic dizziness and back pain for over 6 months and my KP doctor couldn't diagnose the problem. Once I started seeing Dr. Kartch, she could feel my C2 and surrounding vertebra were out of alignment. After a number of visits, the dizziness and pain finally started to subside. I suffered from a pretty severe pinched nerve in my neck which dramatically limited my mobility. In his office, Khalid helped treat my condition with great care and we made dramatic strides, but he also helped me understand the root problem and worked with me on improving my environment so the issues that caused the problem in the first place wouldn't reoccur. He also worked with me on a routine I could do at home to help accelerate the treatment.
