The prices are honestly some of the best in the area too, especially for the quality you get. I ordered the chicken wings and fries and everything was fresh. The wings were cooked perfectly and the fries really stood out to me. Most Chinese spots have fries that taste like they've been frozen forever, but these tasted fresh like they were cut straight from the potatoes. If you miss that old school Chinese takeout flavor that's hard to find nowadays, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!

However, about two of the six had holes in them, so some of the soup had escaped before they were even removed from their bamboo steamer. Lastly, we had the Chicken Chow Fun, which was extremely bland and full of gummy noodles. That chicken was tender and had a better flavor, though. I just looked back at my last review to see that we had ordered the same noodle dish previously, and, while it similarly had very little sauce on it, the plate had been much more enticing back then. I also saw a bunch of gnats flying around near our table, which was not appetizing, but in fairness, it was a very hot evening. Despite our mixed experience, the dishes being delivered to neighboring tables all looked amazing. I would like to think it was just an off-night and would be willing to give the place another shot.

Inside, the spot is small but spotless, with a relaxed, welcoming feel. The staff? Super friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Now, let's talk food, because that's where Jaimito's really shines. We kicked things off with the Papa a la Huancaína, and it was the perfect creamy, spicy start. For the mains, we went all in with the Jalea and Arroz Chaufa Mixto and every bite was a hit. The place itself is cute and little. They have a big menu and many options. Portions are a great size, 99% of the time I'm leaving with leftovers! With that said : lomo Saltado eaters , be aware - BEST lomo in town!! Steak is tender and the sauce is just phenomenal! My second favorite is the chaufa ( fried rice) with their homemade green sauce! If you're looking for pollo a la brasa, this is perfect. Even then, the skin is way too salty so it has to be tempered by a hefty side of chaufa. Beware of the a la minuta soup because they salted the heck out of it. The tallarin verde was also slightly saltier than expected. read more

My friend Bill knew about this hole in the wall. Best in class Peruvian-Chinese fusion restaurant , which admittedly isn't a very large class. Sooo delicious! Try the black corn juice. I also enjoyed trying some imported Peruvian soft drinks like Inca Kola. read more
