Can not give this place enough stars. Very rarely have I had such authentic and fresh Mexican seafood in the US. It's harder to find than you think, even in Texas. Even after 1 visit I can tell this is going to be my all time favorite restaurants ever. The food was so good. Beyond belief. Words can't describe. This place is super touristy but don't let that discourage you from eating here. Starting off with the chips and salsa, you can tell they were made the very same day. I've been to plenty of other restaurants where you are served day old chips. It's more common than you think. We started off with some fish nugget appetizers. Never in my life have I had fish this fresh. So good when they know what they're doing. This place knows what good is. My group as a whole got some fried oysters, fried shrimp, a couple quesadillas and fajita plates, a huge fried mojarra, and a couple caldos de camarón. The menu was huge. They had just about every type of seafood you can think of. The fried oysters I had were some of the best I've ever had. Every restaurant should hold these as the standard. My father had a fried mojarra, basically it was a huge fried fish. Nothing special but delicious none the less. The shrimp caldo was super good too. Everything I had here was fresh and authentic and beyond belief delicious. Can't praise them enough. Next time I'm in the area I will definitely be visiting here. Fun touristy atmosphere in a rough neighborhood but worth the visit.

WORST SERVICE EVER!! Omg We had to walt for a drink order and then when she got to our table for drink order she asks what are you eating! I was like ummm can we get a drink and order an appetizer! Then we got app and drinks and ordered and after we got our food We never saw her again! I finished my drink and had to go to register to ask for a water! Then after that she or no other waitress came by until I flagged one and ask for a to go plate! Well as we sat there we noticed that to if you asked for a cup or plate to take food they will charge you for it! Them they charge for limes and lemon slices! Food was plane tasting nothing to boost about! FIRST TIME HERE AND LAST TIME! OH WAIT... I forgot they never gave me a check of what I ordered! I paid 50 bucks for 1 appetizer, 2 meals and 2 drinks! Hmmm wonder what Price was on food and drinks... PEOPLE DON'T BOTHER WASTING YOUR MONEY OR TIME AT THIS PLACE... IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A HALF STAR I WOULD...

Service was friendly and quick. Pricing is reasonable for fresh picks. Food was good but not great BUT it was all incredibly FRESH! The ambiance reminds me of the Marisco (seafood) restaurants in Mexico complete with cerveza and the Music overhead all on a makeshift looking boat of a place . It's a great alternative to the everyday stuff around town if you don't mind Banda Music .

    Agua Chile Shrimp

I had the agua chile shrimps the BEST!!!! I will recommend this place to everyone, the vuelve a la vida was to die for.

We had our doubts about this place at first but when we got there the staff was very friendly and the food was GREAT. The place isn't fancy but the atmosphere was good. I had the fish with ranchero sauce and it was excellent and everything was fresh. Awesome place, I would definitely be coming back. (I added the fries)

    Really tasty!

Eat the ceviche mixed. Soo good with some chips or tostadas. All you need is a beer and you'll be happy. If not just add some extra avacado.

The waitress arrived and took my order, their margaritas are large and strong. They give you complimentary chips and fish ceviche with salsas, which were excellent. The green salsa had quite a kick. I then went with the Fried Red Snapper, which came with fries, rice, and a salad. It was very tasty and fresh. The service was very good, the waitress stopped by often and was very friendly. The prices were outstanding. Overall, a great place for seafood.

We ate there, vs. to-go, they have a fairly large seating area. They also seemed like they are doing a lot of to-go orders. We were seated and they brought out ceviche and fried tortia chips and crackers. It was delicious and had a little spice with a really nice fresh taste. The two salsa's were also very good, one was on the milder side and one was hot. My wife had the Camarones Zarandeados (Grilled shrimp with home sauce). It comes with several shrimp and rice. It is marked mild, my wife thought it was a bit spicy but loved it and eat it all. I had the Huachinago Al Gusto (Red Snapper natural) with Diabla sauce. It comes with rice, a piece of bread and a salad. The picture shows it with fries but I didn't get any. I was okay with that as it was very filling and delicious! A musician came in and played some music on his guitar and sang, that added to the entire experience. If I lived here I'd be visiting here a lot.

I think a 2.5 would be an adequate score to describe my experience at Harrison's Landing. While the…read morefood was done well and our waiter was attentive, the atmosphere was anything but welcoming. Upon arrival, the hostess insisted we look at the menu before entry because "our menu is a little strange," or something along those lines. While this was certainly a strange greeting, we still, of course, wanted to eat at the restaurant, as we had already looked at the menu prior to arriving. As if I wasn't already feeling unwelcome enough, the hostess also thought it relevant to mention that we barely got there in time because they would stop taking tables after us, even though they had an entire hour before closing. On top of all this, the hostess made comments about where I decided to sit, saying something along the lines of, "Are you sure you want to sit over there? It looks too sunny." So, after being told that my palate might not be sophisticated enough to indulge in their premium cuisine, and essentially being told that we were an inconvenience for coming in an hour before close, yes, please question the spot that I am choosing to be seated in. Lastly, I also overheard a waitress complain about not being able to leave because a party was still eating (despite there still being 45 minutes before close). Overall, the atmosphere from the staff was unwelcoming and unprofessional. The food is the only thing that may bring me back in the future.

It's open-air and sits right on the dock, so you're literally eating over the water, which makes for a fun experience. At first, I was a little disappointed because I realized they had changed their menu and some of the items I was looking forward to were no longer available. But we decided to stay and give it a chance, and I'm glad we did. I ordered the Build Whatever with blue crab on a bun. The blue crab was fresh, well-seasoned, and really flavorful. I also got an aioli sauce on the side, which paired perfectly with it. My husband ordered the Poke Tuna Wrap, and it was phenomenal. I ended up loving his meal so much that I'll definitely be ordering it myself next time. We also shared the ceviche, which came with tostadas and saltines. It tasted incredibly fresh and was the perfect thing to eat on a hot day. One thing to note is that they don't serve any fried food, but everything we ordered tasted fresh and high quality. Their cocktails were excellent as well. I had a raspberry lemonade cocktail, although I can't remember the name of it. It was delicious and refreshing. Overall, the food, drinks, atmosphere, and waterfront setting made for a really enjoyable experience. We'll definitely be back.

This place does have some of that, but they also offer a good mix of seafood and less typical options, which stood out. I went with a Texas plate with cheese enchiladas and carne guisada. Not the most exciting choice, but it ended up being one of the better versions I've had. The sauces tasted homemade and the guisada had that slow-simmered flavor. The flour tortillas were made in house, which is a big deal for me and not something you always find around here. My brother ordered the ceviche and the portion was massive for the price. He couldn't finish it and had plenty left over, and said it was excellent. My son went with a burger and cleared his plate, so that says enough. My mom ordered enchiladas stuffed with carne asada and covered in queso. If I had paid closer attention to the menu, I probably would have gone that route. She's usually a light eater and still finished the whole plate. The staff we interacted with were friendly, the place looked good inside, and it didn't feel like a basic taqueria setup. Prices were fair too. I'll be back.
