Jake is fake. He service my pool for six month. Every month he ask extra money for chemical . The skimmer was clogged for the first time in fifteen years. He charge more to open it. The house was vacant, I went to inspect the house, i never seen pool as bad as mine. Green all over . For past mont or longer. He never service the pool and charging me. When call him and told him the situation, he said tomorrow he will take care of it. Next day he text and said due to health issue he can't service my account. I definitely recommend Jake. He not only will take the time to explain everything to you in a way that you can understand but he is mostly concerned that you loved his work. Not only did Jake replace my entire pool system with upgraded energy efficient equipment but did an amazing job acid washing my pool. Also, he went out on a limb and tried to do some work that was very difficult. But even though it came out great, it wasn't to his satisfaction so he discounted the job. WARNING! Jake was very friendly and professional. After the install however, I noticed that he damaged my heater during the install. He did not inform me of this.... The pipes he added leaked. He did not respond to my calls or texts, later saying he was on vacation once I called Amazon. I used Jake through Amazon's install service. Not only did he charge me a lot more than with Amazon listed, the install was done horribly / incorrect. I don't usually write reviews, but please be careful when using Jake. My pool was the reincarnation of a swamp in the middle of Whittier. Tried to do it myself and wound up creating further problems (cloudy water, filter not working adequately, pH all off, etc). Jake came by, fixed the filter and water and now the pool is back to its crystal clear blue clarity. Jake's also got the patience to listen to your concerns, give educational feedback on keeping the pool nice and clean and provides enough time to give it that personal touch. We have know and used Jake now for years. He's does an exceptional job on keeping our pool clean on a weekly basis. We hired jake to replace all our old pool equipment and replace with state of the art equipment. He replaced the light, pump, heater, filter and also installed a control panel that runs everything through wifi. Nothing better than starting the spa from your phone or notebook. when installing the new equipment, Jake was always on time and explained everything every step of the way! I knew i had a few problem with my pool but i wasnt sure what they were , Jake is very proffessional and very knowlegdeable , i told him my budget and he told me he would see what he could do. When he got there i hadnt had my pool cleaned in a month , it was green and nasty . It is now spotless and all off the necessary equitment was replaced at a price that i could afford .
