I patronize this place quite often as I live right down the street, and honestly...I have yet to order an item that I didn't like. The food is VERY tasty and the Happy Hour beer prices aren't too bad either. I'm not huge on spicy salsa but their Salsa Bar has got a couple of the best tasting salsas I've had here in town. The service however could be much more attentive. As a regular customer, I have yet to be made to feel genuinely welcomed or valued. Most cashiers seem to provide folks with the bare minimum in friendly hospitality and don't go out of their way to welcome anyone back. Another gripe is the over the counter ordering system. It makes for LONG wait times! Especially since they often forget to bring you the beer you order, and when both dining in AND taking food ToGo, they expect the customers to go remind them to process the ToGo portion of the order; otherwise your left waiting forever. It is really bad when they don't listen to instructions so you don't get what you want and pay for. We told them NONE of the powder cheese and they slathered it all over the top. Ordered the giant asada burrito at over $15 a piece for my friend and I. What a joke. Hardly any meat at all on the burtitos. They give you a really big tortilla and tons of rice and beans in it and know meat hardly at all. Incredibly disappointed. We will never return again. This used to be our go to spot sometimes we would order 2 to 3 times a week, but the quality of food has gone completely down. Part of the time when we order when we get home it's missing items last time the chicken was so overcooked and burnt you couldn't even chew it. The portions are extremely tiny the only thing that was still the same size wise was the huge burrito. If you order a regular or a supreme burrito it's now like a baby burrito.Wish they would go back to the way they used to be when the food was amazing. The chips and especially the salsa are great(green is the best) Ordered the huge burrito mojado today and let me say it was delicious but it's an absolute death sentence if you're driving right after. Eat maybe 1/3 then take the rest to go. For $10.75 it's an absolute great deal and the chicken inside was perfectly seasoned. I hope I'll be able to try other menu items from this establishment.
