Back here again, and lucky to see that they still have chicharrón. I ordered two chile verde burritos con chicharrón. Burrito was large enough to share. It was perfect with the chicharrón. I ordered taquitos and these were ok, meat was very dry. The salsa that came with it, not the least bit spicy. I threw it in my blender and added one garlic clove and about 7 chili de arbol..perfect! This place is amazing. The servers are always nice and quick to make your food. They have the best chile verde in the Central Valley! Their burritos and tacos are amazing but my favorite is the Tony special. The Tony special is served in a cup with rice, beans, with pork chile verde and cheese over the top. Then they put 4 or 6 handmade taquitos in the cup. I had some today and it was just incredible! The Tony Special is only served on the weekdays and get there earlier because they can run out if they get slammed. Also, I always have them put a few pickled jalapeño's on top. What a great recommendation. It has its typical rice and beans and salsa, but never have I tried a Chile verde burrito with chicharrón. The combination of the soft Chile verde pork paired with the crunchiness of the chicharrón is a masterpiece. I highly recommend this burrito and the establishment. I ordered the Chili Verde burrito & was not happy at all!! I fed it to my dog's. The beans VERY plain, the rice VERY plain & the meat had no flavor other then meat that was cooked with nothing. I would not recommend the burrito I chose at all. Also the tortilla was not heated up or didn't taste or look like it was anyway. I read the other reviews on this food item & I honestly do not understand why they say what they do. I can make better rice, beans, & Chili Verde than what I bought. Jaliscos sells burritos either bean and rice or bean and rice with choice of meat They offer: Chili Verde Carnitas Chicken Asada Chicarones(get there early if you want them!) and most people don't know Chili Colorado which is asada in a sweet like chili sauce sauce. They also offer taquitos (3 to an order with salsa) Tamales(the best I've ever had) and you can buy masa- plain or prepared(better call ahead especially during the holidays) On the weekends they do Menudo and they don't serve Burritos on Sunday- As others have said there is no place to sit this is strictly a take out place so if your looking for a romantic sitdown dinner- this is not your place. They sell their masa(same stuff they use for their tamales) by the pound and its popular- if you don't call in advance for holidays YOU WILL LEAVE EMPTY HANDED!!! * If you want to really indulge ask for the Especial de Mateo- or The Matt Special- A burrito with one of their tamales inside and a little bit of chili verde sauce- it's divne(but I'm biased) *Also you can try the Burquito which is a burrito with a taquito in it! *Lastly they will do a burrito cup- which is exactly what it sounds like all the fixins without a tortilla served with a spoon. All their food is available for catering and large orders and they make their CORN tortillas in house you can see the machine through the door into the kitchen. This place is my families go to....They serve Burritos, taquitos and tamales. The menu is not very extensive but it is all done well. They also offer fresh made tortillas or buy the dough and make them at home. The chile verde is a homerun but their carnitas and carne asada are really good.
