For this place to be really busy and lot of hype.... I recently had the misfortune of experiencing a breakfast that was far from appetizing. The eggs were cold and rubbery, The beans was hard as a rock, and cold!! making it nearly impossible to enjoy eating. The hash browns were also cold with little to none seasoning... Even the drinks was lukewarm at best, lacking the coldness that usually starts the day off right. My partner had the southwest salad, and had no flavor.. I wouldn't recommend going here if your looking for enjoyable breakfast, this place is just looks... It was alright, biscuits are not really my thing. Hash browns which were krispy but blah. They'd be better if they had some onions and bell peppers mixed in with them. However, the food was okay. It didn't "wow" both my friend and me. We were a bit disappointed the fruit didn't look fresh and the grapes didn't look like it has been washed. It looks like they took it out from the package and then place it in the fruit bowl. We could still see the white-grayish marks on the grape skin. The pecan waffles were just sprinkled with pecans on top of the waffle. I was expecting more of their unique pecan waffle for the price. I guess our expectations were too high. It has a First Watch type of look to it, and a good selection of breakfast times. cute little breakfast spot not too far from our hotel in las colinas. we got there a little before 10am and it was already busy, but we got sat right when we walked in. the servers were fast and attentive so service gets a 4.5/5 from me- we got a coffee stained cup, i don't think it was dirty i think it was just stained. the food was closer to a 4/5. the migas were scrambled eggs topped with chips, i'm used to migas being the egg scrambled with the chips. the hashbrowns in the classic american breakfast were overly toasted. i'm sure that hot, fresh off the griddle they were good but once they had cooled down they were a little hard and tasted oily. the eggs were under salted which i can forgive since it's an easy fix. i think the coffee was a dark roast so fair warning if you're not a big fan of strong coffee. the pancakes were huge! i would recommend coming in early, by the time we left (10:40) there was already a line waiting to be seated. i think i would come back in the future, simply because i enjoyed how fast the service was. read more

I'm visiting Dallas for a week and this place was on my list of cute and highly rated places. I have to say i was disappointed. I love eggs Benedict and make an excellent meal of it myself. I ordered the BAT Benedict and the hollandaise made me sad. It was split, artificially yellow and not tangy enough- it needed lemon juice badly. I also noticed brown spots on my avocado slices that were unseemly. Not a huge deal but not very classy. I also wish that the bacon was whole and not crumbled. My sister ordered the huevos rancheros and enjoyed them. My dad ordered the avocado toast and it was decent. I was a little shocked with how expensive it was. A friend from Indiana was in town for recurrent training at D/FW Airport. In wanting to meet for breakfast, I tried to find something near the hotel where he was staying for the week.
