Coming in was nice. It wasn't busy on a Monday afternoon. I ordered a beef patty with cheese and coco bread, two plates with rice and peas, plantains, and one with jerk chicken the other with oxtails, and two sides of Mac cause we couldn't get them inside of the plate for some reason. No drinks. Paid 47$. Pretty pricey but okay. The patty was my favorite part of the meal. My boyfriend has had plenty of authentic Jamaican food since he has Jamaican family members and he was not pleased at all with his plate. He said it could have been a lot better. This was my first time having Jamaican food and thought it was okay. I wasn't the biggest fan of their jerk chicken and the plantains were just ok as well as the Mac. I wasn't licking my fingers. I will not be returning as I'm sure I could definitely find a better spot elsewhere. read more

Low-key incredible food at a reasonable price. We went to the new Bridgewater location early this year but haven't been to the Brockton location in person. However, we make full use of delivery and have ordered from Jamaica's Best a number of times now. Everything we've had here is delicious, flavorful, and well prepared. The portion sizes won't disappoint either! We usually get a medium size on the jerk or curry meats which comes with rice, veggies, and plantains and that lasts us three meals each. My personal faves from here are the oxtail and jerk pork. SO likes to get beef patties from here, and I've seen other carribbean classics on the menu I'd like to try at some point. The first time? Beautiful atmosphere...friendly staff and the food left me speechless! I am a lover of Goat and Oxtail as well as all other foods from Jamaica. I give this restaurant a 4.99 stars and the .1 off is because I almost chipped a tooth trying to get to every inch of meat. I have ate here before but it's been a couple of years since I returned to them and I can for sure say they they did not disappoint. The meat was extremely tender falling off every inch of the bone. The food here is super yummy and delicious. The patties are good. Everything we ordered was wand the prices are great! We ordered one plate and a patty to share with 2 people. I wish the curry chicken didn't have as many bones but it was still very good! This place doesn't have a huge sitting area but most people take their food to go. The woman at the counter greeted me with a smile,and was very pleasant. The chicken tasted like it was charcoal grilled out in the back yard. Juicy and tender. She was nice enough to chop up my chicken as I requested. The jerk sauce was (licks fingers) bomb!!! I feel like I'm on vacation in Jamaica! I had a major craving on a Saturday afternoon for some oxtails. I was originally supposed to head over the Jerkfest in Boston, but plans changed and I ended up here. I think the first thing to expect from a Caribbean spot, is the almost always run out of food early lol, this is nothing new. I really wanted oxtails, but the only had smaller pieces left at the time. I opted for the next best thing: curry goat. They didn't have any more stewed cabbage, and she did offer me to wait for 10-15 minutes if I wanted it. I ended up with the macaroni pie and rice and peas instead. For a medium plate, that bad boy was pretty hefty in my opinion. I devoured that meal so fast. Glad to see a good spot in Brockton. I used to go to one spot for rice and peas and another for everything else. Glad to have one central location now where everything is good all together. read more

The menu is wide ranging from oxtail, curry goat, BBQ ribs and jerk chicken. there is also soups. it's a great spot if your use to the city. if you live near brockton and are use to food in Dorchester and around Boston this place is great. The lunch specials are great as well, all chicken items for 5 bucks with rice and veggie, great value. this place is definitely better than most Jamaican spots in the south shore. read more

Outstanding! The woman who took my order over the phone and rang me up was extremely polite and helpful. I got jerk chicken with rice and beans and steamed vegetables. The flavor was too good for words - the chicken had everything I expected in terms of seasoning but a different "smoky" flavor than ordinary - like they had used wood chips or something - whatever it was, it added an awesome flavor. Rice had just the right amounts of coconut and spice - not overly sweet and not overmixed - no mushy rice here! Steamed vegetables were more than basic cabbage and seemed to included carrot and maybe one other thin sliced veggie. I did take a risk - there is no menu to be found anywhere online (although plenty of great reviews and pictures) - and I'm glad it was a success. I would be more than happy to write a basic menu for you if you would like so even more people can enjoy your delicious food! read more
