My mother-in-law politely explained the mistake to the waitress (a middle-aged woman), but instead of fixing it right away, the waitress began going back and forth with her, insisting that waffles were what we ordered. I stepped in to clarify that we had definitely ordered French toast, but even after that, the situation wasn't handled properly. When the dish came back, it was still wrong, and the waitress had an attitude the entire time. While we were there, we also noticed that other customers didn't seem satisfied. Several plates around us looked barely touched. The man sitting next to us ordered the same oxtails with eggs on cocoa bread and cheese and didn't eat his meal at all before leaving, which raised even more concerns about the food quality.
