We ordered steak tips medium rare and a chicken sandwich. The steak tips came out severely overcooked , burnt on the outside, tough, and hard as a hockey puck. The chicken sandwich seemed absolutely drenched in what tasted like Frank's RedHot or a similar hot sauce, completely overpowering everything else. What's frustrating is that we've eaten here before and had a great experience, which is why we came back. This visit felt completely different. I honestly wondered if there was a different chef in the kitchen. The service itself was okay, and to be clear, we weren't looking to make a scene or demand items be taken off the bill. However, most of the food was left on the plate, and nobody stopped by to ask if there was an issue or why it wasn't being eaten. Maybe this was just an off night, but based on this experience, it's hard to justify spending $100 here again.

I'm hoping it was just a one off and that they bounce back to the amazingness from before (really, we would rave about this place to people!) One plus is they have a buffet you can make a to go plate and pick your meat. While it is pricey per pound, it's better than other take out places. The sides change everyday, so it's always a surprise of what they will have.
