I found the country style atmosphere loud and lively, especially on a busier night when families packed in and the energy in the dining room was hard to miss. It is not a quiet dinner kind of place, but going in knowing that, it fit the experience well. I started with the Blooming Onion, which is a solid opener and holds up as one of the better versions of that dish I have found. It came out hot and the dipping sauce pulled it together well enough that it disappeared faster than expected. The salad was fresh and well portioned as a lighter contrast before the heavier parts of the meal came out. The shrimp and steak were the main event. The steak came out cooked correctly and the meat quality was noticeable, with a tenderness that made it clear the kitchen is paying attention to how things are being prepared. It is the kind of dish that justifies coming back. The shrimp held its own alongside it and rounded out the meal without feeling like an afterthought. Service was warm and attentive throughout. The staff here genuinely seem to enjoy what they are doing, and that came through in how the table was managed from start to finish. One thing worth knowing before going is that wait times can get significant, particularly on weekends, so calling ahead or using the app for seating reservations is strongly recommended. Walking in without a plan during peak hours means a lot of standing around that is easily avoidable. Coming prepared, the experience is consistently worth it.

We agreed to not be difficult but we typically don't eat at chain restaurants, and this experience reminded us why!! In addition to the rolls, we also started with fried pickles which were just...fried pickles. Nothing special about them. There were also peanuts at the table but we didn't have any. For my entree, I ordered the 16oz sirloin steak (med-rare). For my two sides, I picked mashed potatoes and a salad. My steak was more medium than med-rare and lacking flavor. The "mashed" potatoes had unmashed chunks in them and the salad was made with subpar ingredients. I'm giving two stars for the bread & butter, but can't say I'd recommend anything else here. I would not come back as I'd rather spend more money at a higher-end establishment to get a better quality meal!

I was looking for a real nice upscale place for my girlfriend's 40th bday. Really glad we found…read morethis place. First off, the inside is really nice. The open kitchen is really cool. The lights and the big screens are a nice touch. It was a good vibe. All the workers in there were polite and seemed like they were always on point. Now to the food. We started off with the calamari and the truffle parm bread. Both were good. The calamari had a little kick. And the truffle parm bread was truffling. Crispy and cheesy. For the main dish I had the steak tips with mash potatos and creamed spinach. My girl had the scallops and risotto. Both were slamming. The steak tips came with a chimichurri sauce that I need bottled up and sent to me asap. The scallops were a little salty but were cooked perfectly. The risotto was really good but very rich. For drinks I had mocktail and my girl had a tres leches martini which was pretty much her dessert. She loved it. All in all I recommend this place to anyone who likes good food. Good vibes and good service. Good spot to impress a significant other. I think they have function rooms and an outdoor deck as well. Check them out.

I loved that almost all the patrons (and staff) were 20-30something. I wondered how they're affording the price points and the likelihood Giana can be sustained in the area. The drinks were good--but I'm not in Boston or NYC and I don't wanna be either. All our apps were delicious with one small issue--and I feel as a Calabrian descendant , I can say that the pizza crust was flat--needed salt and lacked a yeasty rise and chewy bite. The toppings on the Mozambique rib eye were amazeballs, but the crust didn't match up. That's my suggestion to the kitchen. The calamari was deliciously spicy in the way your face tingles but you can't stop eating. The hummus platter was fresh and offered generous bread to enjoy it. The rosemary chicken wings were outstanding and perfectly seasoned. I was one $17 cocktail in before noticing they offered espresso martini flights (mentioned nowhere on the menu that I could see. You might want to lead with THIS! I'm giving 4 stars for food and service, but 3 stars for pretentiousness of pricing! I'll drink elsewhere and enjoy a more cost effective buzz!

Cozy and inviting, the place is devoid of the usual hundreds of Brazilian flags that one usually see's adorning the walls of similar places, and its a welcome change. The decor is simple, clean and modern, the staff are friendly and inviting. Its a typical layout for Brazilian, half buffet served with fresh cut meats on skewers... The accompaniments you begin with (located on the left side as you walk in) were fresh and more importantly, were presented in smaller trays meaning that they are replenished more regularly rather than the large trays filled to capacity so that the bottom layer is hot and overcooked and the top is cold as i've found in other places, top marks for this! Rice was perfect, beans were popping and the plantains were to die for. The salad bar was also incredibly fresh with a large assortment of offerings. There were several other sides i didn't try but i'll be back. On to the meat. The skewers were filled with quite a few selections, several beef offerings, lamb and pork along with sausages and chicken. The bacon wrapped chicken was sublime, the chorizo sausage was bursting with flavor, i also got the brisket (school boy error, its not like southern style brisket that is super tender its a tougher cut of meat) which of course was tougher than i expected, however, my bad, my friend got the sirloin and was delighted! The place is absolutely spotlessly clean, very pleasant seating area but i think the lady behind the counter made it for me, she was so friendly with an infectious smile that just makes you feel welcome.

The Lobster Mac & Cheese was outstanding, honestly better than what I've had at places like Capital Grille. Add in the fresh, delicious bread, and the meal starts off perfectly. I highly recommend the Brandt 14 ounce Aged New York Sirloin; it was easily my favorite dish of the night. And don't leave without trying the New York Cheesecake the perfect ending to an amazing meal! The ambiance of the restaurant was warm, elegant, and inviting, making it a great place for a relaxing dinner. The atmosphere paired perfectly with the excellent food and attentive service, creating an overall upscale dining experience. A special shoutout to our waiter, Quinten L., who provided exceptional service throughout the evening. He promptly cleared our plates after each course and even wiped down the table between meals, which really showed attention to detail. Thank you, Quinten L, for making our dining experience even more enjoyable!

When it comes to steaks, I rarely eat out because I have a paranoia of being let down. I always buy my meat from a butcher and cook them beautifully on a charcoal (yes, if you cook on propane it's not actually grilling - poser) grill. This trip to Amelias reinforced why I shouldn't stray from handling good meat myself. The place itself is cool, my grandmother was very impressed which is honestly all that matters. Of course she was enamored by the bread options and the whipped butter with olive oil was honestly a nice touch. I ordered a bottle of pellegrino and was surprised the waitress never topped me off (get your mind out of the gutter). Whatever, I had to serve my own drink but at a place of that caliber you'd think the wait staff would understand that when a bottle of any sort is purchased they should be asking the diners if they'd like a refill. We ordered the tuna tartare and my grandmother had never even heard of such a dish before. She enjoyed a bite and then I inhaled the rest - yes I am fat and hungry NOT SORRY. We ordered our steaks and I got excited too soon. I can't help but shake my head, I NEVER get steaks out any more because even at steak houses I am most often let down. I am not trying to sound cheap but at $68 a steak I am expecting a melt in your mouth masterpiece (that's what they used to call me back in the day) and honestly the meat we got was a MAJOR let down. Steak alone has it's flavor and this piece was lacking. They overcooked it and it was genuinely tough even with the LITTLE pink they allowed me to enjoy. I was really heartbroken but the only reconciliation for this was that my aged grandmother was ecstatic and this meal wasn't for me, it was an attempt to treat my grandmother to what could be one of her last few really special meals. For her it was and that's the only reason I'm not giving this place two stars.
