First time in this restaurant, the service was great. Very friendly. The ambience was nice, not too busy on a Sunday afternoon. The food was mid, I ordered three different dishes because I was so excited to try this place. The oxtail ok it was not amazing like I thought it would be, the taste was bland and it was not spicy at all. I have to say the oxtail was very soft and well cooked but it was missing flavor. I also ordered the reggae crab because I love seafood, this dish was not worth the money! It was only legs of dungeon crab, no claws no body just a couple of crab legs in sauce! Very disappointing, the sauce was good and spicy but that about it. I have to say my favorite was the jerk chicken wings wow those were amazing!! tlI took an extra order home!! The curry chicken was excellent according to my friend over all I will give the well 4 stars for the great service and the amazing jerk chicken wings!!!

It has been really hard finding a Jamaican restaurant locally with consistent food and good service. I actually found this place from a TikTok review and I'm glad I listened!! The chicken beef Pattie's are so flavorful, the curry chicken is always fresh and packs a true curry taste, the wings are always a must starter and the jerk always gives your taste buds a kick!! They even do Jamaican pizza!! This is a must try!!

Welcome to Jamrock, Welcome to Jamrock Out in the streets, they call it murder.... Jerk Chicken! JERK CHICKEN.... Authentic jerk chicken, is a magical thing. Done right you'll feel the burn of the scotch bonnet peppers it's marinated in. Hints of garlic, thyme, onion and black pepper. Then you'll taste exotic flavors unfamiliar to our taste buds as non Carribeans. Cloves, allspice and nutmeg combined to tickle your senses. Throw in little orange juice, vinegar, and brown sugar, then you'll know. Juicy falling off the bone tender as butter sweet and spicy chicken? I'm in. The Well Jamaican Restaurant in Randolph is worthy of the trip. I had sweet plantains with rice and peas ( beans ) as sides. The trick only people south of Miami know is to add the oxtail gravy to the rice and peas. Extra jerk sauce too. Trust me. No need for hot sauce. It's perfect as is.

FOOD WAS GOOD BUT the oxtail spring rolls has some small bones so be careful if you do order them thats the only down side ... other that the crab was cook perfect the meat jus came out the shell with no problem the mash potatoes and cabbage was season to perfection. Our server was nice and helpful as it was my first time there. The place was very big and clean good music and relaxing will for sure be back.

This restaurant is outstanding. From the time I entered the doors, I was welcomed and seated promptly. The food was great, I had the curry goat which was well cooked and flavorful. The seating area is comfortable, and the restrooms were clean. I would visit again to eat over and over again.

Not sure what happened in the kitchen today but food looked appetizing yet was very bland down to the oxtails. Waste of money.

Cook rice with coconut milk. Seasoning the food more would have made it taste better. Food was bland. First time trying them. What a waste.

Stopped in to get some beef patties before our movie. The patties were warm, slightly spicy, and the crust was nice and flaky. Rating 5/5 Total came to $8 for 3 beef patties. Would definitely come again and try their entrees!

The Well is a very big restaurant where you can dine in on one side or order takeout on the other side. Today we decided to dine in for the first time. However, the first time I tried this restaurant was a couple of months ago, for takeout. Today I ordered the same thing I had previously which was the rasta pasta (mild) with grilled shrimp. I must say this dish was very tasty my only complaint is that the portions was alot smaller than what I had previously. Other than that out waitress was super mellow and nice. Service was ok, and we were the only people who dined in.

stumbled upon this place using the Too Good To Go app and it was a decent experience. for $5 you get so much food. the container is packed with rice chicken and plantains. you even get a bowl of soup so awesome app and deal. the fried chicken was okay and not memorable. it is a bit dry and not a ton of flavor. the spicy jerk chicken appeared a bit burnt on the outside but tasted fine once you peel off the skin. it has a nice kick which i do appreciate overall love the portion for what it was. plenty of parking outside and take out process was smooth

The well is a decent place to try. Came in before going to the movie theater across the street and the place was pretty empty and the service was super slowwww. Took at least 15 min for someone to seat us and at the seat another 20 min to get our order in. I don't want to bash this place so overall service is slow (moving on). The food is ok, the oxtails were ok pretty tender, chicken was ok too not the burst of flavor I'm used to. Overall just meh, I was wishing for more. The decor looks a little old like an old school diner. I would possibly try again

5 star I ordered oxtails rice/peas &cabbage....muah! I tried some of my cousins mac&cheese and my others cousins fried plantations and ordered a side order of both. MAC AND CHEESE my favorite food and they nailed it! The plantations were cooked to perfection and they were THE BEST I ever tasted...nbs! Welp, they have a new "regular" customer...Check it out...you won't be disappointed!!!

I've tried a number of seafood boils around MA and Cap't Loui is definitely one of the better ones…read more We had shrimp and mussels with medium Cap't Loui sauce and lemon pepper and added garlic noodles and sausage. They sell by the half pound or pound with their prices listed on the walls in the restaurant based on their current market prices. The portions felt like a lot for what we ordered as we split about three pounds of seafood between three people and were all stuffed. The mussels were big and shrimp were very fresh and clean. The medium sauce was not too spicy and it also came with a potato and small corn on the cob. I thought their garlic noodles were not as good as I've had at other seafood boils, but they do not skimp on the garlic! The restaurant has a spacious front dining area where you enter from the mall with tables for larger parties and the back area where there are a lot of tables for smaller groups. All tables are lined with paper as you'd expect from a seafood boil restaurant and they use all plastic ware and cups. The service was relatively quick and attentive and they also give you gloves, bib, and a bucket for the shells as you eat. I recommend ordering combos as a group if you are hungry as you get free sides depending on how many pounds you order.

Cap't Loui is a Cajun seafood boil spot that delivers on the core promise of the format. I walked…read moreinto a lively space and knew immediately that the meal was going to get messy by design, so I came prepared for that. The boil bags came out hot, saucy, and loaded with flavor, and the cajun sauce was the backbone of the whole experience. I started with the shrimp, mussel, and sausage combination, a strong starting point for a first bag. The corn and potatoes that came along for the ride soaked up the sauce well and were worth finishing before I moved on. I added the garlic noodles to my order, and they held up as a side that actually contributed to the meal rather than just filling space on the table. The lemon pepper fries were another solid addition, well seasoned and crispy in a way that made them easy to keep picking at throughout the meal. Snow crab and lobster are on the menu for when you want to push the order into higher territory, and the king crab legs are a standout if you are willing to spend for them. Service was attentive and the staff were patient about walking me through the menu and the process, which made the experience comfortable even though it was my first time doing a seafood boil. A fun, satisfying meal that earns its following.

Took my daughter here yesterday for her birthday. One of our favorite places to go…read more Ordered soup and some apps I got the French onion soup which was horrible. Tasted like dishwater. I sent it back. However, everything else was spot on. My daughter had the chicken parm panini which she said was excellent. She took half of her sandwich home. She also got onion rings. Hot, thin and crispy and a cup of clam chowder which is always great and thick We shared the stuffed mushrooms which are always our go to. Served on a spread of lobster bisque I got the pork dumplings which were delicious. My grandson had the kids meal hotdog it was really big for a kids meal, served on a brioche bun I secretly asked for a lemon cake to celebrate their birthdays. Corey brought it out with a candle in it Corey was our server and he's been there for years. Very pleasant and attentive Overall another great experience just won't order the onion soup again

Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with our experience tonight…read more Our bill was around $100, and unfortunately it was some of the worst food we've had in the area. We ordered steak tips medium rare and a chicken sandwich. The steak tips came out severely overcooked , burnt on the outside, tough, and hard as a hockey puck. The chicken sandwich seemed absolutely drenched in what tasted like Frank's RedHot or a similar hot sauce, completely overpowering everything else. What's frustrating is that we've eaten here before and had a great experience, which is why we came back. This visit felt completely different. I honestly wondered if there was a different chef in the kitchen. The service itself was okay, and to be clear, we weren't looking to make a scene or demand items be taken off the bill. However, most of the food was left on the plate, and nobody stopped by to ask if there was an issue or why it wasn't being eaten. Maybe this was just an off night, but based on this experience, it's hard to justify spending $100 here again.
