    10 Pc Lemon pepper Flats
    Bisonboy67 J.

First off I want to start off by saying wow. THE BEST WINGS I'VE EVER HAD IN LIFE. IF I COULD GIVE IT 10 stars I would. So for my order the bill was 34 dollars. I ordered a 10pc lemon pepper flats with fries and a drink, and a 20pc hot lemon pepper with fries and a drink. Honestly if you think about it 30 wings two orders of fries and drinks for 34 dollars can't beat that. PROS: *Great Customer Service/staff super friendly * The Wings we're fresh and Hot as were the fries since everything is made to order. * The Ghetto Lemonade was literally the best lemonade I've ever tasted I may have diabetes now * The size of the wings were extraordinary. CONS: There are none STRAIGHT UP. Will be returning soon with friends and family. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Visited this place a few years back when they were across the street from the stadium in the little trailer thingy. Can't really remember my experience, but I do remember the wait was FOREVER. I pass the new location in my way to work everyday and decided to give them a try one friday night. Called in my order and went in to pick it up. One thing I really liked is that they waited til we arrived to drop our fries. However, they tasted like they had been fried in the same grease as some fish. I got 20 weeks split. Out of 20 there was like 15 drums. The BBQ wings were good af, definitely would get them again. The lemon pepper weren't bad, but the lemon pepper seasoning didn't really stick to them soooo they were moreso just like just plain fried wings. This was short and sweet, but yeah. Good wings. Will definitely be back. Next time i'll see if they can do all flats.

I ordered from Jamal's via Uber Eats. I got the fish and fries combo, which comes with two pieces of whiting, and I also ordered a five-piece lemon pepper wings. My food came out to about $13, which was a pretty good deal, in my opinion. My order arrived on time and was as expected. The fish was seasoned very well and fried to a nice golden brown...crispy, but not overcooked - perfect. The french fries weren't seasoned or salted at all and were a little soggy, but we'll chalk that up to the condensation of the to-go box. The lemon pepper wings were pretty good! They were nice and crispy with a generous amount of lemon pepper seasoning. I was expecting the wings to be a tiiiiny bit bigger, but they were still delicious nonetheless. Jamal's was a solid choice and I will be sure to patronize this business and try some of their other menu items.

I fr LOVE Jamals wings. Im not from ATL, so i looked for good wing spots in the area and came here. Their wings was bombbb and the flavor was all there. Came back 2 more times before leaving back home. This will def be my go to spot anytime i visit ATL again. Service is friendly too!

Amazing food in the cut of the city, friendly service and beautiful decor/paintings. I know where to get my wings and such when I visit again.

    Winged perfection.

Named as one of Creative Loafing's 100 dishes to eat before you die I couldn't resist giving Jamal's Hot Wings a try. At least on this date Jamal's seemed to be a one man operation so the lengthy wait was explainable. And barring their lacking the level of heat I so desired the wings were utter perfection.

The homemade jerk sauce and homemade ranch sauce is amazing. And Steve is easy on the eyes. I'd come back, most definitely.

Don't let the outside fool you. This is a decent wing place for a reasonable amount of food. Somewhat overpriced, but it's decent.

People say the wings were small in other reviews but they taste far superior in my opinion and are cooked more consistently. I didn't care for the smell outside but non the fault of the place.

Hmm. I've passed by this place a million times and never felt the urge to enter, and that means a…read morelot since my husband is a certified wing fanatic. It is right next to a university campus so the crowd reflects that, and it is overall very hood-adjacent in its operation. But I was craving a burger and fries and my go-to spot had just closed their kitchen. Sooo I begrudgingly walked over here for proximity's sake. All I can say after eating the food is hmmmmm. Let's just list some stuff out and see where we land. 1) AMBIENCE: I came in on a Friday night around 10:30PM and there were a mere handful of people in here... hmmm. It was hot and humid and a breeding ground for big ass gnats that kept landing on me. Yikeeeees. Greasy, greasy, greasy. The air was thick with it and the floors were very slick. The ceiling fans had a substantial layer of dust. I literally did not want to sit down out of fear of sticking to something. It has the bells and whistles of your typical new age, ATL black-owned restaurant: the faux grass walls and fixtures, neon-lit slogans everywhere, everything served in to-go boxes and plastic (except for beer apparently)... it was clearly nicely renovated at some point but a serious maintenance/cleaning schedule is clearly nonexistent. But I'm assuming they rely on takeout and don't find that part significant. 2) SERVICE: Everything is self-serve except for their bar. The food took 20+ minutes which is wild given that it's all fast food. Hmmmmmmm. Staff interactions were a little awkward but I wasn't looking forward to outstanding service anyways. Perks: open late. 3) FOOD: They have corona and modelo on draft as well as an assortment of alcohol that can be added to their other beverages. I think I saw something about a Happy Hour, too. I'd avoid their tap based on the gnats... I can't even imagine what their line looks like given the lack of cleanliness (this is coming from a former bartender). This is staunchly a fast food spot. Everything is fried. They have fried oreos, fried fish, wings obviously. They also sell Kool-Aid (people still drink that in 2026???) for $3 which is seriously laughable if you know the price per packet... but hey maybe it's for that good ole nostalgia. Like I said before, this is a hood establishment. The burger I got was undeniably garbage. Nice price though ($10 if ordered in-store), but seriously nasty. The "beef" patty had that chemical, artificial taste. The fries (spelled Friez on the menu... LOL) had a suffocating amount of obnoxious seasoning salt on them. Probably to mask the taste of the old grease they used that was still very apparent. They were all stumpy as well, so clearly I was given the bottom of the bag. I would NEVAAA subject myself to this meal again, IDC how strong the craving might be and how convenient this location is. The husband enjoyed his garlic lemon pepper wings. He paid about $13 for 10 (after removing fries as a side). He agreed the fries were horrible and was very happy he removed them from his meal. They do have hella wing flavors. Just don't expect this food to be good for you in any way, shape, or form. Guilty eating only. I'd come back here to get wings for my guy. That's it.

A now-viral video shows an employee at this location being rude and confrontational with a customer who simply expected basic respect and a greeting. When I commented on the video calling out the poor customer service and lack of training, the employee responded with "your mother" under my comment and DM'd me to threaten me, telling me to "pull up to fight." The fact that she's this comfortable behaving like this publicly tells me this kind of behavior is supported or ignored by management. If she's not afraid of consequences, that speaks volumes about what's considered acceptable at this location. The location also has a "B" health rating, and is constantly surrounded by homeless and drug activity right outside the front door, making it an unsafe and unwelcoming environment for paying customers. This isn't just a bad day or a rude worker--this is a reflection of toxic culture, poor training, and a dangerous lack of professionalism. I will be reporting this incident and the employee's threats to the Better Business Bureau because no one should be threatened or disrespected for speaking up about poor service. Do not eat here.
