The staff here is super friendly, very fast and efficient, and they make the drinks great. Today I walked in with my mom to get a drink and one of the workers popped behind the register as I was about to order and said "Merry Christmas!" and handed us a buy one get one free coupon to use immediately. I heeded some sound advice today, and nabbed the 20 oz of fit n fruitful shake that had whey and some other fibrous components. After gym and hitting balls over the net with very consistent guy players, my muscles were tired, and I needed some sustenance. This location has excellent quality fruits and vegetables for their drinks, they are always ripe and fresh and are always arranged in an eye catching display. Their staff members here are friendly and knowlegable about their products, they are great with their fruit and vegetable pairings and usually suggest the best boost to compliment and enhance your drink. Jamba Juice rocks at their location! They are usually busy with a line nearly to the door almost every time I happen to visit. The staff is friendly and patient when I'm standing there trying to figure out if I've made the right choice for my hard-earned money. Not to mention thinking about the amount of calories I'm about to consume through the use of an orange straw. Medium size should do it since I'm not that thirsty. The craving for a Jamba Juice still pulls me here today. Tried the Poolside and it seems actually good; however, could use a little more flavor. Can't taste the pre-boosted Collagen. $25 gift card for Jamba Juice plus a tough workout at the gym means a for sure visit for a delicious smoothie with whey protein in it! On a side note, I forgot to pack my Gold Standard whey protein with me to go to the gym with, so I decided to opt for a sweet smoothie from Jamba Juice. This is the only location I've been to in the East Bay, and it didn't disappoint. The staff was friendly, and I got a free upgrade to Large size because I got the whey protein add-on option. Seriously, this location is pretty awesome; there's lots of parking around, lots of walking area, there's now an ICE RINK IN THE PARKING LOT, WHAT? overall, this location must do well because there's constantly an influx of people coming to South Shore. Do not go here. You are better off drinking a bottle of water. This place is by far the worst jumba juice I've ever been too. I walked in, they had no customers From the time I entered tell the time I left. I order a lager white gummy with extra ice. (Note this is the only thing I get from jumba ) when I got my drink I look at it and there were green flakes inside of it. I told the girl, what is that, she smiled and said it's might just be spinach. I just left didn't want to waste my time with her making anther one if they weren't even going to clean the blenders right. This white gummy was by far the worst one I've ever had it had such a bad taste. It was also very sour i think something there might be expired. After to zips i throw it alway. Umm I can't believe I'm about to give such a low star review on a place where I frequent but I came to this location for the first time and this so called Strawberries Wild I just had broke my heart a little. First of all, service was aiigghht, meaning it was hella basic encounter, no smile and she kinda look like she didn't wanna be there but whateva besides that, my drink didn't taste right. I love the idea of having a smoothie place in Alameda however I am rarely 100% satisfied with my smoothie. The flavor is inconsistent and the sizing is wrong. Today I ordered a large PB chocolate love with whey protein and received three child size smoothies. As an employee at Jamba Juice the cashier should've stopped me and told me to order a medium because when whey protein get added to a smoothie, it generates a volume/air and needs to be placed in a larger size cup. I believe my smoothie was split in three because the cashier did not read back my order. Not only that, she did not give me enough time for me to be able to use my free boost. As a result, lots of waste today (3 cups used instead of one) for the company and subsequently the customer, I paid more then I should have for the volume that I received. Two stars because the flavor of my smoothie was actually pretty good. The young lady who made my smoothie was apologetic and offered to pour my three child size smoothies into a large cup. Sadly, one thing I can say that is consistent about Jamba Juice is their poor customer service. I always think twice about going to Jamba Juice. read more

I Came here upon stumbling into a dry moment. It just opened on 09/15/2008!!!! I walked in and smelled the freshest oranges and lemons around these parts of the world. I was greeted upon a real friendly person her name is Kathy and she was super up beat positive. What I loved she was real patient person until me and my friend could figure out what we wanted. Since The Blue Danube switched owners, this is the only place to get a peanut butter-chocolate-banana smoothie in the area. It's a chain so I'm sure you don't need me to review the smoothies since they're the same everywhere. The service is kinda bad. If they're busy, they'll completely ignore customers lining up. Not even an "Ill be right with you" or any acknowledgement whatsoever. I wouldn't ordinarily care, but it's unsettling sometimes to be standing at the register waiting for a while and not be sure if the employees have even noticed you. There are a couple of girls working here that aren't like that though and are sweet. I tend to only go in now when I see them there. read more

My husband and I received horrible customer service. We ordered 1 drink and the new employee was having a hard time making the drink. There was 7 employee and no one helped. I approach the 3 employees behind the register to ask if anyone could help him and they all looked at each other and ignored me. I had to ask if anyone was going to respond and all one person did was point at the manager which he just gave us a refund. No one attempted to finish our drink. How sad that there was no courtesy or manners coming from the employees there. Its retain customer service is part of their job and its part of what keeps businesses open. Spend your cash somewhere else. I just ordered 25 bucks in smoothies and they refused to take a fifty dollar bill. When I asked why, I was told they don't take 50's but I could go to the restaurant next door to get change. Seroiusly? When I asked the manager about the poilicy, she said it was posted on the door. Then she went on to tell me, it would be impossible to give everyone change so they just don't. Seriously? She recommended I use a credit card. "But I have cash right here." She refused. I hope there are enough people with correct change to keep your overpriced smoothie company in business. Maybe a better idea would be to keep change on hand instead of expecting the restaurant next door to provide change to your customers. Me, I will take my $25.00 somewhere else. Just bought Icees from 7 eleven (used my fifty) cost me 8 bucks and they have half the calories! Eh. Took wayy too long for drinks to be made.. I don't know if it's because everyone was new, but it seemed like no one knew what they were doing. The line to order moved abysmally slowly, and it took about 30 minutes, if not more, after ordering for my drink to come out. Even then, my drink was way over-blended and too watery because they left it in the blender too long and then it was sitting a while because the guy was struggling to put together other drinks while the other guy was trying to figure out how to use the juicer.. Definitely not the most professional Jamba I've been to, but other than the service, it's in a nice plaza with lots of other choices of food and drinks! read more

But the line moved quickly and we placed our order. Within 5 minutes are drinks were ready. Given how busy it was, the workers were friendly and efficiently processed the drink orders. OMG. It finally open. I love Jamba Juice. It is right next to Chipotle Restaurant. ( I will review once it's open) A sixteen "coldbuster" please. Juicer says: Coming right up.
