I have found the one. They have the best popcorn chicken and fried squid. I like how you can pick the level of spicy and they put it on there for you. Their mochi donuts are also so good. They definitely take a lot of my money every time I come here. It was busy when I came here, but I was able to get my food within 10 minutes. Lo and behold, my friend was gate keeping Mr Green Bubble! With so much excite we enter the establishment and we see the kiosks. My friend places her order in like 1.5 seconds and I look at her and she's like "oh I know what I want". I purchased the Taro slushie with almond milk and Ube smeared around the cup with no boba. It was amazing. I especially enjoyed how the Ube smear that I could very much so taste. The service is okay. They welcome questions and substitutions which I find to be helpful when choosing a drink you really will enjoy. The ambiance is small, but pretty spacious. My friends and I came to Mister Green Bubble in the 30 mins before they closed and we were greeted by a brightly lit and clean shop. We ordered on the tablets in the front, which made it easy to all get our orders in quickly. I got the taro milk tea with 50% sweet and less ice. The drink came with boba already so I didn't need to add that on. The drink itself needed more taro flavor and I think the boba was pretty soft from being the last order at the end of the day. Seems to be a very popular place for high schoolers to hang out after school my son and I went in there and I ordered an Earl grey milk tea no boba and popcorn chicken, level 3 for spicy. Our order took a while, but the popcorn chicken was pretty good and the Earl Grey milk tea was little on the unsweetened side even though it was 50%. It was OK and I enjoyed my popcorn chicken. Highly recommend the popcorn chicken. Perfectly crispy with well cooked meat (not too dry). Recommend some amount of spice, there are multiple levels to suit your preferences. Almost never have I left 3 star reviews for locally owned spot since the pandemic, but I think it's brought me to a non-redeeming point and it's time to let go of my good memories from this place. Here are changes I don't adore: - They have folks at the counter but one cannot order. - One can only order on Snackpass but the prices on the kiosks are higher than the prices posted on the menu. - The staff are mostly (if not all distracted) on the phone - there was a confused parent who clearly looked lost and he just needed help finding a drink. None of the 4 staff lifted a finger. - Staff don't know what happened to Fivestars points and they tell me to contact the owner via no email - no reply since last year. - This location never answers their phone. I even called Walnut Creek to ask if they can reach them for me to answer if they were open on a certain holiday. Fortunately, let's just say one doesn't have to look too far for tea - I am just very glad that the relatively newcomer shop Tea on Piedmont is down a few blocks. read more

Prob one of the more terrible boba spots I've been to. We stopped in for a Jasmine Boba Milk Tea since it had a thumbs up recommendation on the menu. It was bland and watery. I would not recommend coming here! Especially when there are so many good boba spots in the Bay. The service was accommodating when we asked for a replacement. They blamed the watery texture on the oatmilk, and although I let them know I can't have dairy, they kept insisting I get whole. They replaced mind with almond milk option and 100% sugar but still bland. I recommend going to spots like Raretea Or Yi Fang who can create classic milk teas and accommodate dietary needs with actual flavor. read more

I have only gotten bubble tea from here, so I can't speak about their food, but I've been pretty happy with the bubble teas I've gotten from here. Lately, I've only gotten the taro milk tea (which comes with boba), partly because it's one that I can ask for no sugar and can have non-dairy milk options (for 50 cents). (I think the Thai milk tea, for example, only comes with regular sugar or extra sugar, which I don't want. I'd want a less sugar option, but I guess whatever mix they have for the Thai milk tea is already pre-sweetened.) I like being able to order on the kiosks - usually makes it less likely for there to be a misunderstanding about what I want. You can also order through the Snackpass app if you have it. You can specify the sweetness level and ice level, too, which is nice. And they you get a text when your drink is ready. The last couple times, my drink was ready much earlier than it originally estimated, which was nice. There are only four "classic" milk teas that have the boba included, and these aren't priced too bad. The others don't include boba so you have to add it as an extra for 50 cents, and they're more expensive drinks to begin with, so those end up being rather pricey ... so I haven't gotten them. But the boba texture is almost always perfect and the drink flavors pretty good. So, it's not bad for when I'm in the area. But I wouldn't go out of my way to go there. read more
