calebjordan: this kid needs some coffee. no enthusiasm... no customer service skills. dude, it's just juice. so he rings up 2 drinks gives me the total, i gave him my money and I ask him if I can change one drink... he's like "nah, it's already rung up." Mind you, he's still inputting my name and sorting out my change but hasn't even given it back to me yet. I look over and the 'tenders hadn't even started putting the ingredients together for either drink... 20 seconds he finally closes the cash drawer and gives me my change @_@ but doesn't lean forward to hand it to me. wth. when my drinks are finished in between the instructions the staff are literally giving one another back & forth, no one bothers to call my name as I'm the only one standing looking at two drinks sitting on the counter. when i start to look around then I get a "Ma'am, your drinks are ready." halfway out the door i realize this kid is mumbling "have a good day" TO ME when i thought he was talking or singing to himself... lol i avoid the carson mall jamba on my lunch hour to come to this one... maybe i'll just have to find another one...again. read more

Honestly this place is a hit or miss for me. Part of why I think this is, is because of the staff. Not once have I ever been greeted with a smile or someone with a nice speaking voice. Hardly make eye contact when taking my order. I say thank you, no response. There's like 0 cares and 0 manners. No one looks like they are happy to help. There's just something about that that is off putting. They hardly listen to direction too. Idk.. I just think they need to hire new people. read more

First of all, your fruits are not freshly squeezed. The carrots and apple juice are in the refrigerator already. Second, I ordered large, and it was about 80% full only. I asked to add more juice, and that's when I realized that the juice was not fresh because the lady just took the juice out of the refrigerator. Then when she added more juice, it was still not full, so she just put more ice. Sucks! read more

This morning I received excellent customer service from this Jamba Juice not only did the cashier help me select low sugar options for myself but he was also kind enough to bring my drinks to my car. The workers seem just not to care they were having a full on conversation and didn't seem to care people were waiting they finally took my order and after taking it making me wait came and told me they had no granola or peaches at that point I was even more mad that they waited to tell me I will be calling corporate! read more

Wow. I felt like I was on Candid Camera!! First, yes the location is small (so what) which made it seem busier than it really was. The endless delay was because they kept getting orders wrong and having to remake them - when one guy told the girl making the smoothies that his was not what he ordered, she opened it and sniffed it, then handed it back to him. When she finished his new drink, she literally stuck half her face into the blender and sniffed that too before pouring it in a cup and handing it off. GROSS. But not as gross as the sticky floor where I was standing. The topper was when I noticed yet another customer trying to talk to a worker standing behind the cash register while talking on her phone - she held her hand up towards the customer and said "I'm on my Break" then continued her chat with the phone. Needless to say, when I finally got my 3 (screwed up) orders, my daughter and I opted to just take what we were given (one of the smoothies had been sitting on the counter in its cup for about 10mins by then, another had sat in a blender just as long, and the third was the right size and freshly made - but not the ordered flavor). Highlight: when the guy next to us said, to no one in particular, "I can get through customs at LAX faster than this." Classic. read more

OK I'm a smoothie juicer vet so I'll keep it short and sweet. I rated them 4 stars I almost put 2-3 but I changed my mind because... this place is the only one in gardena or whole area so they get very busy and horrible parking lot. at first they were slow and the drinks were below average then I noticed a manager hustle she pushed her employees it seems they hired some more workers they are moving faster and improving and they are all friendly and the drinks have been getting better. The prices are horrible but that's corporate Jamba bs I'm sure they underpay there employees too. Unfortunately. But I'm happy with this locations will to improve and keep the more regular vet customers happy. We pay top dollar for these drinks. Now there is this one kid who works there he's real weird thinks he's a charmer and looks deep in every female costumers eyes and smiles all crazy very odd but a nice guy. I think it's funny. I love this place. And the one thing that keeps me coming back to this location is the people and service.

Monday was the last time i came here. I usually go about twice a week. I don't know where they went wrong. The wait now is ridiculous sometimes. Only 3 people in line & i have to wait nearly 20 minutes?? Really?? My Boss was just there as well. He's the reason why my coworkers & I started coming here. Trust me, it will be the last time u will ever see any of my fellow coworkers here. The same person who "helped" me on Monday, also attended my boss. Not only did they mess up his order, but then they completely forgot about him AFTER the fact. He left WITHOUT a refund & WITHOUT his order. Yeah, that's how disappointed he was. What made it worse was the young lady working the register. (Young lady with glasses). She was so rude attending customers & not welcoming whatsoever. No smile , no greet, nothing. I work for a hotel & i have to say, none of us will be returning to this place until management fixes much needed issues. Which to me, costumer service is the worst. read more

All Jambas essentially use the same recipes, so I'm okay with that. What I'm not okay with is the offensive bleach smell at this location. Been here twice and each time the smell smacks you in the face at the door. Even my 3 year old could smell it. No es bueno. read more

What should have been something quick turned out to be 20 minutes for starters today the chick behind the cash register had a nasty attitude didn't greet or anything then the second person seemed to be new it took her 10 minutes just to do a simple chunky bowl. I'm very upset! I always come to this location usually 100% service! At 1st I ordered a large and a medium drink but I only had 10 and that totally was 11 something and so I was like nvm a small for one of them and I was ordering a larger for my boyfriend that's what he wanted so I just down sized mine all the way! The cashier guy said it was 10.28 I said "I only have 10 dollars, can I look in my car". He was like "ya " I went in looked in my car for 10 mins couldn't find a damn quarter. I had to ask people outside like I was some homeless girl for 25 cents and I had to ask 3 different people :(.. And normally I wouldn't care by I work in a restaurant business if we know someone is a regular and even not always a regular if they don't have a few cents we will just pay it through the store or something but this time not the case! I finally got a quarter.. Then I payed and ask him what they do if this happens, do they really send them outside to ask for money from strangers! It wasn't even like I was only buying that one drink I bought 2! They were getting my money and service! I said to the cashier is your manager he said in the back 2 second later he walks out right behinds the cashier didn't even say that's my manager I asked "is that your manager?" "Yes" I told him how it is at the place I work and he said something about corporate! I know corporate hello I'm cashier at my store! Meh... I'd say this place is probably your average Jamba Juice. What took it down to below average was the fact that I was the only customer in the store at 8am. I stood in front of the menu a couple minutes because they had no kale. What the Kale! How do you not have kale? Also, they didn't have any spinach or greens. No options to replace the kale. Anyway. I managed to move on and order a small peach mango smoothie. The cashier charged me $12! I handed him a $20. Then I asked him about the price. I only ordered a smoothie and it says $5.09 on the menu. He said "oh yeah that's tax" umm I know we live in CA but tax is not that high anywhere. I was polite and asked how tax was so much. Then he said it was because I ordered a bowl. I didn't order a bowl. He seemed nervous. I was still pleasant and polite. He fixed his computer and then he only gave me change for $10. I had to remind him I gave him a $20. He said "oh yeah" and gave me the correct change. I finally got my smoothie. It wasn't even tasty. Bottom line. I should've stayed with my original plan and gone to Robeks. read more

So, I tried to give this Jamba Juice a few more chances and the only thing that has changed is new employees. Which I must say the customer service has I'm improved slightly. However, operational wise still falls short. Two weeks ago around 8:45am I ordered a protein berry workout with whey and I was told they ran out of strawberries. Today.....ordwred a island pitaya and I was told they ran out of bananas and blueberries. Mind you there is a Bob's grocery store 5 feet away from the Jamba Juice. So, in an emergency you should use petty cash to go get these basic items instead of hoping the customer will order something else or outright losing a sale period. I was told Gardena Jamba Juice does better in sales then Carson which is very hard to believe. But I will say the random times I've been to the Carson location they NEVER tell me they are out of items. I really wish the owner of the Jamba Juice location would contact me so I can assist in tightening up their operation. Accountant by trade and have help opened a few restaurants in the past.
