Hole in the wall juice and smoothie spot! There can be a small language barrier sometimes, but don't let that stop you from ordering. I tried their mango strawberry smoothie and it tasted exactly how it sounded. It tasted fresh and fruity, with no added sugar. The Caramuru smoothie was suggested by one of the guys and I LOVED it. Today I had the Birds of paradise because papaya is my favorite fruit. Pretty good but my fav is the caramuru for sure!! This place is across the street from the Salvation Army. Small place & gives a out of the country vibe, with a few chairs inside but only one table. There's also a couple tables & chairs outside. It was supposed to have papaya, banana, blueberries, and dates. There is absolutely no reason for these pieces of hard plastic to be in there. I haven't been in years and was glad to see it's still up and running! I'll tell you right now, this still hits like it did years ago. Classic açaí which I love, not really into the blended type with the dragon fruit and stuff. Just gimme that açaí straight and that's my shiiii. Been here twice and the smoothies are amazing and the prices are so reasonable. Both smoothies came out to $12 which is unheard of here in LA. There's so much to choose from whether it's a juice, smoothie or bowl. Service was friendly and we were recommended a few of the top sellers and ended up getting the mango banana one and the acerola mango one under the super fruit section. I met a friend here for breakfast, and right away, the interior cute decor gave me the vibe of a cozy little island escape - almost like enjoying a meal in a cute tiki hut. Took my two sons here (ages 7 and 10) and my 10 year old told me "mom, you have to leave a review for this place". They ordered two smoothies: funky monkey and ginger snap. They drank them so fast we had to order a third, Lazy Daze. They were all outrageously fresh and delicious. Ingredients like guava and passion fruit make you feel like you're on vacation, along with the decor and music. A nice escape from the daily grind. A slice of heaven . And at $7.50 each I don't know how they make any profit. We will absolutely be back here whenever we're in the area. My kids will dream about these smoothies. read more

I have been going to this place for a very long time and LOVE their açaí bowls, but I've found that the taste and texture has changed over the past few months. I noticed the açaí bowls seem waterier and icier so much so that I started ordering the açaí smoothie instead. I came by today and was appalled by how different my smoothie tastes compared to before. It was overly sweet and pinker in color vs. the deeper purple color you normally see from the açaí smoothies. I was extremely disappointed and even asked the person working why the change and they said they started to use different strawberries. He was apologetic but I can't imagine that being the only factor of why my drink tasted so different. I normally rave about this place to people and don't even live in the redondo area anymore and make trips just to pick it up! There are so many different kinds of fruit to mix in. Great for recharging after a workout or a long bike ride. Once, I was called after an online order to be notified that they were out of key ingredients for an item, but by the time I picked up, they had somehow made it happen! Note that with multiple blenders often firing up at once, it can get loud inside. There is not much interior seating.
