After eating at Northern Cafe next door, we need a sweet treat and stopped in at Boba Time. This location is clean and the girls behind the counter are super sweet and fast. Also, this seems to be popular with the kiddos. There was a sweet little girl in front of us who ordered her drink and asked for strawberry popping boba on the side. I was impressed and asked her why does she get it on the side and she just replied, "I like it that way. I like eating it separate." Well said! I ended up getting the same drink as her a strawberry watermelon slushie, with strawberry popping boba inside my drink instead of on the side. I actually enjoyed this flavor and would get it again. Yes it's artificial, but the watermelon and strawberry taste, I thought they would cancel each other out and one would overpower the other, but I could taste both. I had a very frustrating experience at this Boba Time location. It took 30 minutes to make a single drink, even though I watched multiple groups who ordered after me receive their drinks before I did. At the 20-minute mark, I asked about my order, and I was told that no one had even started working on it yet, but that it would be ready in 5 minutes. It actually took another 10 minutes. Keep in mind, my order was very simple a drink, a banana cheesecake, the cake and the macarons were already prepared.The cheesecake and macaron weren't even given to me. When I finally received the drink, it was made incorrectly. I specifically asked for no boba, and they gave me boba anyway. I asked for some form of compensation for the time wasted, especially after waiting nearly 40 minutes and seeing others served first. Instead, they canceled my order and gave me a refund. While I did get my money back, I wasted almost 40 minutes for nothing and ended up missing two buses home because of the delay. Very disappointing experience overall and poor communication, lack of organization, and no accountability. I won't be returning. read more

This boba place is my reliable go-to source for anything Boba. My favorite refreshing drink is the lychee w/ the lychee jelly. The pros about this place is a couch to sit on while waiting and some tables if you want to stay and enjoy your drink. The con is that it's usually busy with people standing around outside waiting with you. But the staff are quick on orders. Convenient place if you're already in the plaza for a meal. I came here after leaving Kaiser in Gardera which is next door, this place is located inside a small plaza nest between a restaurants. Finding a parking here is a pure nightmare, plus good luck trying to find parking on the street, (tip lot's of free parking next door at Kaiser ) I ordered the peach mango smoothie which was good and a pistachio frappe was also delicious. Went to "its Boba Time" tonight. I've been to many Boba joints, and I do prefer it's Boba Time over most places. It's clean, the staff is nice and the service is not too bad. They do get busy, which makes the wait time longer sometimes, but that's normal and honestly a good sign of a hot spot. They also sell finger foods and desserts. The restaurant is always clean, bright, and smells good. They have a huge menu that could be a little too much to choose from, but it is very organized, but the options and flavors are awesome. They have inside and outside seating for guests, and it's located in a great place with plenty of friendly activity going on. I recommend the strawberry banana #9 with Boba. Now I'm a strawberry banana kind of guy, but like I said, they have many, many flavors and styles of Boba. This is a cool location to hang out with friends or go on a light and simple date. The area is friendly and active. The sizes are normal, and a regular size is 16oz. The prices are average. Love this place!! read more

This place is so popular, we walked in through the back entrance and it was packed. But the line moves quickly so do not be discouraged in sticking around in line. I highly recommend one of their drinks on their top 10 list. I got the strawberry matcha with extra boba and it was delicious. I also ordered the Parmesan fries, let me tell you there is so much flavor packed in them......best fries I've had in a while hands down. Parking sucks in the shopping center itself because there are so many restaurants here. They were busy for a mid-week sorta late night. But no biggie because they were pretty fast. I put in my order of matcha tea+boba and played the waiting game. Welp. That game didn't last too long and I was surprised at how quickly my drink came out! The green matcha dominated the overall taste. Perfect sugar level, good chew on the boba and downright refreshing. It was the perfect way to finish my grub night. There are plenty of eateries here. I love how this place is situated next to a dozen other great Asian restaurant. This boba spot is the perfect post-meal drink. They are super efficient here and boba is very reasonable. They also have other desserts like macarons and cakes, but we didn't try any of those. I'm so glad they have honeydew boba. It's my favorite flavor. My friend got the pistachio matcha and also really enjoyed it. I customized my drink to be 50% sugar and less ice. They don't charge extra for less ice which is great, and they still fill the drink up. The boba itself in the drink is so fresh, soft, chewy, and mildly sweet. Honestly, it's nice to have options the food industry has evolved in such a major way. People with food allergies and restrictions can finally enjoy treats too! I'm obsessed with the Blueberry Yogurt Smoothie at the moment. You get chunky edible pieces of fruit without an enormous amount of sugar additives.
