Their pastries are also in stock. The drinks are delicious and I always love that I can control the sweetness level. The price is affordable and my family loves anything from this place. I like that everything is individually packed! There is a lot of parking and Daiso is right next door. This area is convenient when doing errands because 99 ranch market is also in the same plaza.

Ordered a cold Sea Salt ice coffee and end up with a hot coffee. Didn't want to wait again so I settled for the hot coffee along with a Ham and Cheese pastry. The service was good but would have been better if the person taking my order paid closer attention. Ice coffee on a hot day would have hit the spot.

    Mooncakes with box

Mooncake season is here. I like buying mooncakes here it's buy one get one 50% off. My favorites are Taro Mochi, Red Bean Yolk and Hokkaido Mochi. It even comes with a nice box, good for gift giving. I buy mooncakes twice a week that's how delicious it is. And the Daifuku it's mochi filled with mango cream that one looks simple but it's superb in taste. They always gets busy but overall the food and service is good.

This location has been here for as long as I can remember. I grew up eating their sweet and savory pastries. Tip: Make sure to join their rewards app for points, monthly coupons, and easy mobile ordering. Parking: There's a large yet busy plaza. Free parking lot. Ambiance/Environment: Just like any other location, it's very casual. I'm surprised it's actually clean. They have a large indoor space with a decent amount of seating. The pastries are located on the left, the registers are in the center, and the pickup counter is on the right. There's constant foot traffic coming in n out, so there might be a line. Service: There was a line when I entered. It was consistently busy, so it's understandable. I suggest having at least 1-2 workers on the register at all times. It took a while for a worker to take the next customer. I ordered three drinks, and throughput took 13 min. Drinks: I skipped out on the pastries during this trip. I ordered the Vietnamese Coffee, Jasmine iced tea, and Mango Green Tea. For whatever reason, 85°'s version of Vietnamese coffee is shaken dramatically that there's a lot of bubbles at the top. You're left with 25% bubbles and 75% coffee. Despite that, their coffee is actually strong. Their teas are fruity and refreshing. Highly recommend adjusting the sweetness levels. Pricing: The drinks and pastry prices are definitely affordable in this economy. Compared to other rising pastry shops, 85°'s prices are the cheapest.

Used the August BOGO sea salt coffee deal. It was easy to order using the kiosks at the door. Ambiance was soft yellow lighting with a few tables by the drink counter. Wait time was about 5 min. Their sea salt coffee is good especially once you mix the sea salt with the coffee. It still holds the slight bitterness of the coffee but is softened by the sweet/salty of the cream.

Miss living in Redondo and Cali and my favorite 85°C location... Back in town so: * my daughter and I both got sea salt jasmine iced tea - heaven *hubby got sea salt iced coffee * huge variety of pastries: she loves her chocolate cookie bread, I love everything taro, hubby got blueberry cheesecake which was creamy and delicious *pumpkin bread shaped like a pumpkin with pumpkin crème OMG- and inexpensive *lots of teas and coffees *moon cakes are in season; mid autumn festival coming up. Got a taro mochi one, not yet eaten **these pastries hold up well and are easy to travel ( fly with ) :)

Very attentive staff, we ended up getting some individual slices of cake. The strawberry cake was delicious, red velvet was a bit too firm for my taste.

You can never go wrong. Picking up some pastries from this place. Honestly, every single item that I've tried From This. Location is pretty delicious. I haven't tried anything. That was not good. I definitely recommend you guys trying them out. It's a list. They have everything nice and organized, and the checkout line is always fast.

This is one of the best bakeries I have been to by far! This was my first time coming to 85 degrees and it's 5 stars for me! The staff were friendly and helpful, it was clean and organized inside, and the music playing was a vibe! When you enter, you are welcomed with an amazing smell of sweet baked goods, and fresh coffee. You grab a tray and you are free to select whatever baked goods or desserts that you choose. (Cakes and cheesecakes have to be selected at the pay counter) They have both sweet and savory so you have a wide range selection to choose from. All the goods have a description of what they are so it's pretty easy to navigate. I selected the bacon and cheese bread, the choco bun, and the maple twist. They were are fresh, fluffy and delicious !. I'll definitely be returning to repurchase those items as well as try new ones. I highly recommend.

This is where you want to go if you aren't on keto, Atkins, paleo or any kind of diet. I order their whole size cakes for special events & parties. So much variety in the bakery area too. Customer service- always friendly & very quick w/ their orders. There is limited seating in the eating area. This isn't the place to chill/ not a quiet area. It's pretty much grab your coffee & carbs. Their taro lavender & tiger boba drinks are amazing. I have yet to try all of it. Yes, I'm a repeat customer because of their variety of sweets.

I absolutely love this bakery. Sunday morning and all breakfast spots were packed. Stopped in and selected some Pastries and tea. The spinach croissant is amazing and a must try. This is your typical cafe dining experience. A his place to chat over coffee and a pasty. Located in a strip plaza, so there is ample parking.

Yikes on the service, okay on the food. Pastries looked so pretty and well-displayed. I wanted all the cakes, but ended up letting my partner get whatever she wanted. Ended up getting two pastries, and two drinks. Pastries were overall good tasting. My hot drink was just warm, but it might be due to so-so service. Took about a half hour to get my drink, and what made it worse was they did not announce drinks are done, they just set it on the counter. What is bad about this is if they are behind, everyone is standing around touching all the drinks to see if it theirs. Quite gross to watch over a half of an hour and see several people touch all the drinks with their fingers and looking up close to their face to read the small label. Unfortunately, I assumed my drink would be set next to eachother, a hot drink and a iced drink, but that was not the case. So my hot drink was sitting for awhile and ended up being luke warm by the time I took a sip. Additionally, the bread pastries were unorganized with some not having a label or price tag. Made it confusing. I wouldn't come here for a date, and opt for a different location.

I come here about twice a week and enjoy their bread, so this was really disappointing. This was my first bad experience here, and it was entirely due to customer service. I had been having a good day, and honestly regretted coming here because it completely ruined my mood. The cashier acted like helping me was a hassle from the start. No greeting, no total after scanning, just silence after she has scanned the items while I had to look at the screen for the total. She asked if I wanted a bag. I said no because I try to avoid using paper or plastic bags if I can carry my items. She bagged everything anyway. When I reminded her I said no, she responded with "but you're taking the bag." I told her she already bagged it and charged me, so what was I supposed to do? She rolled her eyes, said "it's not a big deal," made a dismissive hand gesture, and asked if I wanted a refund with a smirk. It's not about the 10 cents, it's the attitude. When she gave me the 10 cents back, she treated it like a joke. As I was leaving, she said to her coworkers (loud enough for me to hear) that I "wanted 10 cents back because I didn't want a bag," and they were talking and laughing about it. Completely unnecessary and unprofessional. I thought about turning around to say something, but it honestly felt too immature to argue over. I didn't expect this kind of service from such a large chain, and it left a really bad impression. I regretted going there I'll probably be taking a break from coming here for a while.

On my second and most recent visit, I tried their vanilla and chocolate conchas. I really liked both of these classic flavors. They weren't too sweet, and the conchas were freshly made and still warm when I got them. They pair really well with hot coffee. I haven't tried the coffee here because I usually like eating my concha with black coffee, creamer, and Splenda. I also love dipping my concha in my coffee, so I picked up a hot coffee from McDonald's next door instead. Customer service is good, and the staff have been pleasant both times I've visited. However, during my last visit, only one staff member was working. I went in the morning before work, so it was during the breakfast rush. I had to wait about 10 minutes just to place my order because he was taking orders and preparing the food, and the two people ahead of me had ordered a big box of conchas. It wasn't his fault, and I honestly felt bad that he was working by himself. I hope management makes sure there is enough staff, especially during the busy hours.

This place is a total gem, and if you haven't been yet, you are seriously missing out! Let me tell you about the star of my visit, the Matcha Cream Filled Croissant. Oh. My. Goodness. This thing is on another level. The croissant itself is buttery, perfectly golden, and incredibly flaky -- with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. But the matcha cream filling? Silky smooth, lusciously rich, with a beautiful earthy matcha flavor that isn't overpowering or too sweet. It's the kind of bite that makes you stop mid-chew just to appreciate how good it is. I honestly could eat three of these in a sitting. The Korean-American fusion approach to their baked goods is inspired and completely unique, you won't find anything like it anywhere else in the South Bay or in Gardena. Seriously Impressive, I paired my croissant with their Iced Matcha Latte, made with premium grade matcha sourced from Jeju Island, and WOW, this drink is stunning. It's vibrant, beautifully layered, and tastes as amazing as it looks. The matcha is bold and authentic without being bitter, perfectly balanced with creamy, cold milk. Not too sweet, not too earthy -- just absolutely perfect. It's easily one of the best iced matcha drinks I've had in a while. You can customize your milk choice too, which is a great thoughtful touch. This place is warm & welcoming: The staff here is attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and made to feel at home. The baristas are well-trained and knowledgeable, they took their time explaining the menu and made sure my order was exactly right. No rushing, no attitude, just genuine hospitality that keeps you coming back. Decor is absolutely Charming. The interior of Smoking Tiger is adorable and so well thought out. It's modern, clean, and stylish with a cozy Korean café aesthetic that feels fresh without trying too hard. The lighting is warm and inviting, the seating is comfortable, and the whole vibe just makes you want to stay for hours. There's both indoor and outdoor seating available, which is a great bonus. Whether you're catching up with a friend, working on your laptop, or just treating yourself to something special, this place sets the perfect mood. One thing that really stood out to me was how immaculately clean this café is. The tables, counters, floors, and display cases were all sparkling, it's clear that the team takes real pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for every guest. A clean café is a happy café, and this one passes with flying colors. Bottom Line, Smoking Tiger Coffee & Bread is the real deal. Creative, high-quality food, exceptional drinks, warm service, gorgeous decor, and a spotless space, this place checks every single box. The Matcha Cream Filled Croissant and Iced Matcha Latte alone are worth the trip. Do yourself a favor and go try yourself. Miguel C.

Since my first visit, there's been many competitors opening around Gardena, but I find myself drawn back to this place because of the balance of spaciousness (there's actually places to sit whenever I go!), quality of products (the espresso shot is pretty strong and they have many beans to choose from), and best of all, price of their drinks (specifically the specialties). While I wouldn't say the prices are a bargain, it feels more reasonable than other local competitors. One thing I do miss is that 2 years ago, the pastries weren't individually wrapped. We used to have the option of selecting pastries with tongs, the typical experience you'd get when going to a bakery in Japan. Hopefully they would bring that experience back again! The store inside is postage stamp sized with no where to sit and enjoy a coffee and pastry, but the variety and quality of their product more than makes up for that. Besides, I know how expensive commercial space and labor are. On this visit I sampled sweet and savory offerings (sourdough, gluten free bread, cinnamon roll and bun and a chocolate croissant) First let me say that everything is handmade and being organic means that there is nothing in the mix that shouldn't be there, but most importantly everything was delish. I am not a sweet fiend, I am more of a savory guy and I was more than happy with everything that I sampled. The breads contained no added sugars and the pastries were lite on sugar and glaze. The flavors were honest and pure. My favorite of the bunch was the chocolate croissant. It was flakey, buttery and filled with the most delightful dark chocolate morsels; not too sweet, not too bitter just pure goodness. It paired well with my coffee, but should pair equally well with a glass of milk. Heck, all this talk has got me hungry for another one!!! Lastly, I respect and appreciate a company that stands behind their product (no compromise). Again, everything is certified organic and the dough is slow fermented (30 hours). This process enhances flavor, texture, digestibility for the gluten sensitive, better bioavailability of nutrients and enhances shelf life without adding preservatives. Finally, the young lady at the counter was super pleasant, knowledgeable and caring. I managed retail for nearly 20 years and I know good customer service when I see it and you will find none better than at Frogs. I will certainly be back to sample the rest of the menu.

Good GOD what an almond croissant it was flawless, better than the stuff I got in France. I got it…read morefrom the Farmer's Market which they are so so so very kind enough to make the time to be part of these far and wide so that all kinds of people have access to their amazing pastries.
