The worker there named Kalden is probably the most helpful person at Jamba. I have been going here for the past two years and Kalden has always greeted me with a smile and a hello. I cannot even explain how comfortable and safe I feel around him. I am sad to say that he told me today that he is unfortunately leaving and is going to pursue his dream. I wish him the best of luck! Give this mana raise!! Also, his açaí bowls are the best on the island!

The service was quick and we were really happy with our drinks. There's a lot of seating room which is nice too.

Jamba Juice has lasted so many years and somewhat has evolved with the times to include boba drinks and açaí bowls. Merchandise such as shirts and plastic jugs have disappeared to include just cups. The basics have stayed the same although the styrofoam cups have disappeared replaced with plastic cups. The drinks though are classic and although you can probably make the smoothies at home somehow having a Jamba tastes better. The classics such as Strawberry Nirvana have disappeared to be replaced with a more jazzed up version. This store with the young staff are polite and really try to be helpful. They actually upsold a cup that I did not need but could not say no. The pineapple drink I ordered tasted like a pina colada and was refreshing. I keep on returning to Jamba even though there are so many drink places out there because it's refreshing and good for you but bad at the same time!

This Jamba doesn't have the best customer service to be honest but they are fast so can't complain too much. There was quite a bit of people in front of us, so I thought we would be waiting for a while but we ordered and about two minutes later our drinks were ready. If their workers were a little bit nicer I think they would have a better rating.

Not yet drank large smoothie... clearly not filled to the top by at least an inch.

Took 30 minutes to get my order in this sauna box they call Jamba Juice. While it was busy, my impatience came when I realized that the 8 people that ordered after me all got their smoothies ahead of me. I was about to ask if my order was lost (it probably was) when they finally called my name. Also, shouldn't a large drink be filled to the top of the cup? They gave it to me with at least a 1-inch gap. I felt ripped off but was so overheated sitting in that sweat box for 30 minutes that I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. Worst Jamba Juice on the island.

Tropical Dragon + strawberry boba is really good!!! Hadn't been to Jamba juice in years, and now I've been there 3 times in 2 months. Refreshing, fresh, sweet, tangy... just a great drink on a hot day!

I was fortunate enough to spend the day with three of my favorite women , The love of my life Aimee H and my daughter Tawnylyn and my grand daughter Jace , we had a desert at this establishment, this place either had no A/C or they didn't turn it on either way it was hot, we shared a acac bowl With granola witch is my daughter's favorite, I Have to say the service was good and very fast but it was hot , we enjoyed our desert quickly and we were out of there

This small storefront is located near Koko Head Trail, so we stopped by after a pretty intense hike. There is a variety of sizes and lots of flavors to choose from. I personally got the cotton candy and lychee, and it was a perfect balance. The shaved ice was soft and flavorful without being overly sweet or sticky, and a small was the perfect size. The worker was also very nice and patient with our large group. To our surprise, we also learned that Obama had visited this place and that his favorite flavors were lime and cherry. I can confirm those flavors are also very good.

It isn't the best shave ice on the islands, that still belongs to Matsumoto's for me, but it's good enough that I keep coming back. I'd put it right up there with Waiola. The shave ice is soft, the flavors are great and sitting by the marina afterward has become part of the ritual. The celebrity wall with photos of President Obama, Ben Affleck and countless others tells you this place has been around for a reason. Unfortunately, so has the service. Every trip seems to remind me why I've hesitated to write this review. This time we visited four separate times and every visit felt strangely uncomfortable. We waited patiently with our kids for close to twenty five minutes before anyone even took our order. The employee was busy making shave ice which is understandable but there's no system explaining what comes next. Do you wait inside? Outside? Will they call your name? Is there a speaker? A screen? You're left awkwardly standing around hoping you don't lose your place. Nobody was rude to us outright. It just felt like everyone working there would rather be somewhere else. While waiting, I started noticing things I wish I hadn't. The refrigerators, vents and equipment all looked like they could use a deep cleaning. Maybe everything is perfectly sanitary behind the scenes, but perception matters when someone is preparing food right in front of you. Instead of looking forward to dessert, I found myself wondering how often everything gets cleaned. The frustrating part is that once you finally get your shave ice, it's really good. That's what makes this review difficult. I genuinely like this place. I have decades of memories here. I'll probably end up back here again on another trip to Hawaii. But great food only carries a place so far. Hospitality matters just as much, especially somewhere that's become a tradition for so many families. I really want to give Kokonuts four or even five stars. Instead, I'm leaving three because after thirty years, I'm still hoping someone behind the counter will make the experience feel as welcoming as the dessert.

I recently tried the mushroom Swiss burger, and the sauce on that wagyu patty is sooo 'ono--seriously next level. The pancakes are okay, but with the honey butter, syrup, fresh fruit, and strawberry sauce - it can really bring everything together. After doing some research on Yelp we decided to check out Moena Cafe. The restaurant is pretty small so I would recommend getting here early. We didn't have to wait for a table but probably 30min after we arrived they had a 40-minute wait (lucky, I know). I decided to go with the avocado toast and cold brew, and my husband had an order of pancakes with blueberries. First of all, the cold brew was probably the best cold brew I've ever had! I wouldn't say I am a coffee snob by any means, but I could definitely taste the difference in their coffee. The avocado toast was absolutely delicious and came in pretty huge portions! It was two pieces of toast with two eggs in a bed of arugula and a very generous amount of avocado. It was cooked to perfection and exactly what I needed after our hike. The pancakes are HUGE so I would recommend only ordering one. My husband was about to get two, but the waiter kindly suggested ordering only one, and she was right. I had originally wanted the corned beef hash, but they sold out and offered the pineapple sausage hash instead. The banana chantily pancakes were good, though I think the chantily sauce is really what makes the dish stand out. The pancakes themselves were fairly standard. I probably could've just ordered the single pancake because the portion was hug, I barely finished half of it! The pineapple sausage hash was a pleasant surprise. I already love pineapple sausage, so I enjoyed the sweet and savory flavors, and it was nice to try something a little different. My boyfriend also really enjoyed his crab eggs Benedict with the sweet, fresh flavor of the crab. Our server was friendly, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time despite how busy the restaurant was. Moena Cafe is definitely on the pricier side, but the food was tasty and it's worth checking out if you're in the area!
