I've been here twice so far, the worker at the register is always pleasant. Which is why I'm giving three stars. However the person who makes and pours smoothies haven't been up to par. A bit slow, and both times my smoothies were handed to me dripping out from the lid. I cleaned the cup myself. I assume with time that the smoothie makers will be a bit better. Two of their employees (on break or done with work) are purchasing something at the front but they are also taking their time talking to the person ringing them up. There's only one person making the smoothies and one person ringing up. You would think they would know this is not the right time to be fooling around. People waiting around not looking happy. Today, I went in at 7:20am and I was the only customer in there. One of the workers was on her personal cell phone talking to a friend and the other girl was just standing around. When I went to order, the girl looked at me as if she didn't know what the Chunky Strawberry bowl was so I pointed it out on the menu. She then tells me the price is, "$7.79" in which I correct her saying that's the without tax price so what is the price I need to pay and she went, "Oh, sorry, $8.16." By now her coworker went to the back. The girl who took my order went to the back and didn't come back for 5 minutes. When she came back, she took about 10 minutes to make my order (All the while noting, I'm still the only in this store). The outcome I got was essentially a smoothie with fruits in a bowl. If I wanted a chunky smoothie, this would have been fantastic but...I wanted a bowl so very disappointing for the amount of time I waited...10/10 would not come back again if these workers were on shift. read more

We don't have Jamba juice at home and this was my wife's first Jamba experience. I usually go with the Peanut Butter Moo'd, but my wife and I were just going to share a drink so she picked for her Jamba cherry to be popped. We tried one of the seasonal drinks that was an excellent watermelon concoction. kudos to jamba juice for having a japanese menu that caters to massive amount of japanese tourists that flood ala moana center. having a japanese menu doesn't automatically mean there are qualified employees that know japanese and can take orders in japanese. i had a japanese family stuck in front of me trying to figure out the ordering process, the employee just looks at him confused and doesn't even offer to help explain the process in i don't know, broken english and sign language. i had to step in and interfere this confusing situation and use my broken japanese. after which was when i was able to order my yogurt, which took another 10 minutes for the employees to make. i thought jamba juice was a "order, grab, and go" place? maybe everyone is running on vacay mode. great place to "chill" if you are dying from sweating in 100% humidity. read more

It is nice to be back and see my favorites back..i am glad to see that i am enjoying my blueberry dreamin and having my 3 blueberry scones..it's been a long time since I had it at this location because for a while they discontinued it and i am very pleased to see it back here again and I do hope that they can make more modifications for the smoothie I do enjoy having with me. Also now they have good baked items for people to try as well too. If you like the baked goods, then this is for you because I am going to try to come here and see what other baked goods that this location has to offer besides the scones. Maybe I could have the loaves as a back up just in case the mini scones are out and hopefully that i can try it too..maybe a small suggestion, if people who are not a fan of pineapple sherbet, put in a little bit more of the frozen yogurt to get the additional creaminess and thickness to make it even better. Sometimes when I go to places like this where they ask for your name for the order, I give them a fake name. I actually hate it when they ask for my name because I don't want everyone within an 8 ft. radius to know my name. Anyways, that is not the point...but they do have attentive workers there. One girl remembered me from a previous time and was like, "Isn't your name Shay?" It was funny because this time I used another name and I didn't want to admit it so I just said no and pretended like she had mistaken me for someone else. My favorite is the Peanut Butter Moo'd. So delicious and appropriately named, for drinking too many of these and you'll look like a cow. I do enjoy the occasional fruity concoction but most of them make me cough due to all the seeds getting stuck in my throat. read more

Jamba Juice is always great. I love that they have yummy flavored coconut waters, but their coconut waters aren't as "natural" and organic as some other brands. I love Chocolate Moo'd and Orange Dream Machine. (Yes, I know they are the most unhealthiest choices, but they make me happy!) The only thing about this Jamba Juice is that the lines can get long some times (which happens at most all of them), but the design of this place is squishy so it is necessary to squeeze past people to get around the place. read more

I absolutely HATE this Jamba Juice. I used to love it... Never again. I'd rather go to the Jamba Juice in the food court to get drinks or bowls. Their customer service, and the quality absolutely sucks. Customer Service - They could do a lot better. They could smile and not talk bad about you when you ask them to remake your order because you're not satisfied with it??? Instead they throw attitude, they tell you you're wrong when you've been coming here regularly? I always order a Chocolate Strawberry Bowl, BUT this time it was watered down, not even half way full, and I don't even think it was the right "base"? It looked like a really dark Acai base. When I get it, the smoothie part is always really light pink, and reasonably thick, reasonable amount of granola and chocolate chips, and the bowl is usually almost filled to the top? When I told them to remake it for me, the worker AND the manager gave me attitude and were slamming stuff, giving me stink eye, and was talking really bad about me... At least other places do it unnoticeably and they still smile in your face. I did NOT get that at all. But the point is, if the customer isn't happy with their purchase, you don't tell them they're wrong and make a big deal about it. It's your job. I, personally, would not have sent out the first bowl I got because that's how shameful it was. I didn't even eat all of my second bowl, I was so upset. For those who read my Yelp reviews, they know customer service is the top thing I look for when I go somewhere... No matter how convenient this Jamba Juice is, I won't be going back. I I'm very disappointed at the last visit. The service was not great, no acknowledgement when I walked in. Five people were on the floor no one looked up. When it was my turn to order I ordered a strawberries wild and an orange dream the 2 for 10 deal. I also purchased Horizon chocolate milk. After getting the drinks , went outside to start drinking the drinks that I bought for my family and I. The strawberry Wild and the orange game was very watered-down. My son who always drinks The Horizon chocolate milk took a small sip and told me he did not want it which is very unusual so I tasted it and it tasted funny. I looked at the expiration date and it was 3 weeks old and I was in shock. I'm very disappointed because this is a new Jamba Juice store and I go there frequently but now I'll probably go to a different one just because of my experience even if it is convenient for me. read more

I came here tonight and tried to pay with a gift card. The cashier tells me that my card was empty. I ended up paying for it with my debit card. My gift card was left on the counter so when I received my drink I asked for the card back. He stated that it was empty but hesitantly returned it. I remember prior to the new ewa wing and prior to the closure of Sears, Jamba Juice used to be at it's current location where it is now so I guess you can say that it renovated and re-opened after a long "closure" and hiatus. So right now in it's current stage, it is located at the newly opened and renovated "ewa wing" of the Ala Moana Shopping center. You cannot really miss it because it is more towards the (Piikoi St.) ramp side of Ala Moana. It is right across from Nitrogenie. As far as the interior goes, it is almost the same way that they kept it from years ago. When you go in, they usually have a line barricade/barrier because they get busy often. The staff and customer service is pretty good. Depending on what time of the day and what day you go, it could get busy. The is the second Jamba Juice location at the Ala Moana center to add more diversification in the area's demographic. The other location is at the food court. This place makes a great alternative to Nitrogenie and everything else that they have at the ewa wing. read more

Someone needs to teach the morning crew what service is at the Ala Moana food court Jamba. One worker was openly complaining about people "in line" before they opened (by the way, your hours indicate you open at 8am and it was 8:22 and the lights were still off). Instead of complaining about paying customers, it might be a better idea to 1) put better signage indicating hours of operation and 2) at least kindly acknowledge your customers and let them know WHEN you plan to open. Thought that was blatantly rude and management needs to remind their employees of proper dress code. The employee making my jamba was wearing his pants half down exposing his boxers. So gross. No one wants to see underwear/an employees ass while they're making your drink. Good thing he wasn't wearing a name tag like the rest of the crew otherwise I would post his name. I am a regular to jamba juice, I usually go to the one at ward or kam shopping but since I was at the mall and was thirsty I stopped by here. This was my first time coming to this location since the renovation, and I was disappointed. First off why have 6 employees when they are just standing around talking story and not making drinks with customers waiting for their order? I guess jamba juice is so popular they can over staff. Anyways I usually give places about two chances before I'm completely done with them but for this location I'm done and refuse to come back. First the man taking our order was not paying attention to what we were ordering and we had to replies to ourselves 4x. ORIGINAL CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRY BOWL AND A MEDIUM LIME DREAM, I also ordered a garlic parmesean bread and wanted it toasted. If only the cashier was actually paying attention they're wouldn't have been any problems for the get go and I wouldn't be annoyed. After paying for my goods I stepped to the side where you wait for your drinks. I was the only customer there with 6 employees standing around. Usually once you order right away you hear blending but instead I heard talking. After a few minutes finally someone started to prepare my order. The first thing I got was my pastry which was super hot so I opened it to look at it and it was BURNT. the top was black and the bottom was black. I'm pretty sure in the show case it was brown. I was pretty upset but asked the worker if they could make me another one due to this one being burnt. The employee snatched it out of my hand with no apologies for that trash that was given to me and popped another one into the toaster. A minute or so later I recieved another one and I looked at it and it was burnt AGAIN!! I was so annoyed because this was the second time and I still haven't recieved my drink yet. Finally after being at jamba juice for almost 15 mins. I recieved everything else. Since the cups are clear you can actually see how much you have. My lime dream was clearly missing some, usually when I get jamba juice my drinks are filled to the top. I brought it to the workers attention about my drink but she could have cared less. Her reaction was as if I was crazy and nit picking but for me it's like I'm spending $6 and waiting for a long time the least you could have done was fill my drink to the top. Upset I immediately left to eat my thing outside. My pastry was disgusting I wish I asked for a refund because it was still burnt. I then drank my lime dream which to me tasted like a virgin margarita except super sweet and sugary. I took a few sips of my drink and it was more like a lime slush instead of a lime smoothie. As I drank my drink I noticed that like a slush if you drink it fast the flavor comes out but the ice stays in your cup. From there I decided to pop the top and use a spoon to enjoy my lime SMOOTHIE. what really pissed me off was my drink was majority ice! I didn't notice at first because I was using my straw the whole time but after using the spoon every spoonful was large pieces of ice that should have been blended for my $6 drink. I usually love going to Jamba juice to get a delicious refreshing smoothie. The visit to this new location was definately the worst experience at a Jamba juice I've ever had. The cashier was extremely unhelpful and looked and acted like a sloppy grouchy slob. She was Super slow moving and had a pissed off look on her face that literally told me "f you" . When I asked if there was wheat or dairy in what I was thinking of ordering she replied "I don't have a clue" I then asked her to ask her manager who looked at me with a look of disgust and said "it don't know". Really awesome location. It's closest to the parking lot in the Ewa wing for a quick grab and go. The staff were friendly and easy going, but I am little aggravated at the fact that the worker made my ham sandwich and proceeded to give it to me when it was obviously severely burned! Their sandwiches are already overpriced for what it is, so I would appreciate getting what I pay for. Out of past experience, the same sandwich less burnt was already unpleasant to eat. So, this was a little ridiculous to me. I work in a restaurant and I would never proceed to give my customer something like that to eat, knowingly. They weren't even busy. I was the only customer there the entire time. I would have been happy if she would have rather apologized and let me know she burnt it then made another.
