I am a regular at this Starbucks location, and I can say that this is one of the best Starbucks locations for many reasons. 1. The workers are quick, friendly, and consistent in the drinks that are put out. 2. The inside is PERFECT for getting work done, lots of tables and plugs for laptops where you can pop your AirPods in and get things done. The inside is also very pretty, and never feels cramped even during busy hours. There is also a nice outdoor seating area with shade if that is more your style. Now onto reason 3. GREAT DRINKS! While Starbucks may never be able to top the quality of a 5-star local coffee shop, this location makes drinks so consistently that all other Starbucks locations around just feel like they lack something. I just came from this Starbucks, I've never been to this location but I'm glad I came to visit this morning. I had some extra points in my account and noticed they were expiring soon, so I decided to use them for a Bakery Breakfast; Ham & Swiss Croissant. When I pulled through the drive-thru, I gave them my name and let them know I placed an online order. The speaker (I'm not sure if this was Angelica or not) asked me if I wanted to add anything else to the breakfast. I declined and was told to pick it up at the next window. This is where it gets funny. I pulled up and Angelica (the girl at the pickup window) confirmed my food item and then handed me napkins. But the way the napkins were folded and the way she gave them to me almost made me think she handed me an empty item! Haha I looked at the folded napkins, like "where's my food?" Haha. She proceeded to tell me the food would be right out. I guess I had expected her to hand me the Croissant right away not knowing that it still needed to prepared. I ended up joking with her about it and we had a really good laugh!! We discussed the high gas prices and she told me a funny story about her and her mom also talking about the high gas prices. Lo and behold, it was a great and uplifting interaction. I wanted to thank her with a review because I was feeling really down and defeated this morning, and her and (my husband) ended up making my day!! As a 10+ year customer here I see it growing and changes. This location is one of the busiest Starbucks especially in the morning, but it doesn't stop them from being one of the best! People are friendly, they are quick and if something goes wrong, they will fix it up for you in a lightening speed. They recently upgraded the interior with new furnitures that made the interior look more cozy and have little bit more seats to accommodate customers, students that wants to enjoy an in cafe work. read more

Paid nearly $7 for a chai latte that was barely 1/3 full. The cup was filled halfway with almost 1.5 inches of whipped cream, so I was essentially paying for whipped cream, not a drink. When I pointed it out, the barista just topped it with milk. Once mixed, it was obvious how little chai was actually there. I told the manager, who offered a remake, but I had an appointment and didn't have time to wait--so I asked for a refund. This should never happen. Pup cup ftw! Found a gift card I had and decided to go through their drive thru. I ordered a 7pm decaf hot pistachio latte with oat milk. Really glad they were open until 8pm as the other locations in the area were closed. I have been getting decaf coffees at mom and pop shops. This was my least favorite so far. It didn't taste fresh or of high quality. I'll have to get an iced coffee to also compare. Well the drinks are all pretty much the same. I ordered online for 3 venti drinks for pick up. When I got there, the drinks were ready however just sitting individually on the counter. There were at least 6-8 people behind the counter but 4 of them were just standing and chatting. I asked the gal (bigger gal) for stickers for the mouth piece so it doesn't spill. She just threw a sheet with several stickers on the table. I taped it on myself and then I had to ask her for a to go tray. She gave it to me grudgingly. Since the tray doesn't balance with 3 drinks in it, I asked for a cup of ice to balance the tray, she was sooo unhappy!! It's around 8am and she's already hating her job, not sure what it's like for the later guests that comes her way! Meanwhile all the other 3-4 gals were happily chatting away instead of helping!! I go to this Starbucks regularly on account of how close it is to the shopping plaza in Foothill Ranch, where I go to the Planet Fitness. I like to eat here or enjoy a refreshing drink after a workout. This location has about a dozen outdoor seats, and three corresponding tables to put your stuff on. All the tables have umbrellas too. Parking is convenient here, as all the spots are located right next to the building (there aren't any "far spots"). It's also easy to access off Alton Pkwy in the same location as an elementary school and a condo complex. The indoor does get noisy here compared to other Starbucks, but, I've not had bad service either. Recommended for Starbucks aficionados like me who frequent Foothill Ranch. read more

Went through the drive-thru today and had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had at Starbucks, thanks to Ella G. She was incredibly rude and dismissive for no reason there were no cars behind me and barely anyone inside, yet she acted rushed and irritated the whole time. When my app didn't scan right away, she rolled her eyes and pushed me to just use a card or Apple Pay, completely ignoring that I was trying to earn my points. Like are y'all protesting the app or something? Then when she handed me my drink, she barely leaned out the window and made zero effort I practically had to climb out of my car to grab it. The attitude was unreal. I used to love this location, but lately the staff has gone downhill fast. Management seriously needs to step in before this becomes the norm. read more

How do you fuck this up? It wasn't even busy, there were 2 people ahead of me in the drive thru lane. It's a mobile order so it's all written down for you ahead of time. This happens more often than not and I've held my tongue long enough. I frequent this location because I pass it on my way to work. 8 times out of 10 I have to tell them I asked for whipped cream on my drink. Even though the sticker says it right there. I have to waste my time and look like an idiot pointing to the label what it says, then I get attitude from whoever's working, as if it was my fault they forgot to add whip to my drink. Let me start by saying I have been to this location a few times. I keep hoping that my next visit will be better but I think at this point I am just going to travel to a coffee shop further from my home. This visit was especially bad. First, I was not greeted or welcomed into the store. Instead, I was confronted with what seemed to be an inappropriate conversation between Natalie and Caitlin. They were talking about a show that has to do with deciding if a guy was an f*** boy or a lover. Second, the baristas there are not following beverage routine. The girl making my drink, I did not get her name, was making 3 or 4 drinks at a time. I saw my strawberry refresher sit on the counter in the shaker with ice while she started 2 more drinks. As a former partner, I know this is not standard and caused me to wait for my one drink longer than necessary. Third, while I was waiting I witnessed a few customers come up and ask for items, lids, straws, etc. The customers were nice and asked with a smile. Caitlin did not respond and did not smile back. She did retrieve the items but how rude to not respond. Overall, I am disappointed in how this store is being run. Every time I come in the baristas are not friendly, having loud and inappropriate conversations, and not making beverages to standard. I hope that this is viewed as an area of opportunity to improve the store. Thank you for reading. read more

Once upon a time, I swore I never would waste money going to Starbucks all the time. Welp, that ship has definitely sailed and I find myself waiting in this drive thru more days of the week than not, lately. Why? Despite being totally slammed with business every morning, things move relatively quickly and the quality of the coffee is usually spot on. Plus they have several tasty breakfast options that can really hit the spot. My favorite thing to order lately is the Trenta vanilla iced coffee, easy ice, with a little bit of cream. If walking on the wild side is the order of the day, add an extra shot or two of espresso as well. I guarantee that this drink, once finished, will put some pep in your step! It is true that sometimes there is a delay or they get things wrong, but with this location especially during rush hour in the morning, the demand for Starbucks far exceeds the production capacity of the facilities and workers there. So if you have that in mind, you won't be setting yourself up for disappointment. Also Starbucks customers tend to be on the demanding side, so take the many complaints and low reviews of this location with a grain of salt. It is worthy of four solid stars. read more

This is always my go-to starbucks because I run the trail right across the street. I also enjoy this location because of the drive-through! I wish Rancho would train the employees at their locations like this one. They are always so friendly and upbeat. They also are the ONLY location in the area who can make my drink properly!! The "Salted Caramel Cold Foam Cold Brew"....the most addicting drink Starbucks has. I have yet to find another local Bucks who matched their expertise. Good job mgmt!! read more

This is a very, very busy Starbucks. Be prepared to wait during peak times. The drive thru line is always long especially in the mornings and parking is limited since it's shared with the school across. It's busy because the baristas are awesome, and you have great indoor/outdoor space to meet up, work or have solo time. It's also near some great trails. I highly recommend ordering through your mobile app and picking it up at the counter if you are in rush. The efficiency has picked up in the last 2 years, but it's hard to fault a business or staff during Covid times. Overall, one of my favorite Starbucks in OC. read more
