I've become addicted to Pengo! This location has plenty of parking as it is in the Stater Bros plaza. Restroom is clean and the dining area has enough seating and is always clean. We love Pengo and go at least once a week! Their Boba is excellent, their milk teas are very consistent and they are friendly and efficient! There are so many milk, tea options, available now, but this place is the best in my opinion. I drink dairy free milk, tea, and they have this option, which I love! I am here for the Yelp event and Emi is very sweet just like the drinks and Taro yogurt a.k.a. soft serve. I ordered the Matcha latte and a strawberry Matcha latte with Boba. Once in awhile my daughter and I like to have some boba drinks as a treat. And our first time coming here. I don't have a problem with the taste of the drinks we ordered but I think their regular drink is expensive considering a $7.50 drinks doesn't include the boba yet and the size is not even that big compare to other stores we've tried, that is additional $1. So for 2 regular drinks it cost us at almost $20. No boba drinks should cost that much in my opinion. read more

So much ice! I watched as my order was made today and saw the cup filled with 75% ice before the taro milk tea was poured in. It's been a while since I've ordered taro milk tea at Pengo, as I've always felt it tasted somewhat different, and other places have made it more to what I'm used to. Now I understand why. I'd recommend asking for no ice next time unless you like it super cold, although I'm unsure if they charge for no ice these days. read more

Been to their other OG location and I am a fan of their drinks. They pride themselves in using fresh fruits for their flavors and I love that. Endless varieties - fruit teas, milk teas, smoothies, milk shakes, creme brulee series, orange series, & their caffeinated drinks like matcha & coffee flavors. My #1 is the Lychee Peach Tea, Passion Sunset & the Mango Madness comes to a close second. The Thai Brulee is also delicious. I appreciate that they have actual fruit bits in the drinks, option to add chia seeds on some drinks. They have different flavors of macarons on their display case. Regular milk tea was good but the roasted oolong milk tea was trash. Boba ran out so there was only mini boba sadly. The popcorn chicken is American style and not Asian style in terms of breading and flavor. Staff was friendly and parking was easy. Overall not the best but also not the worst. read more

Food quality is dangerous and gross. DO NOT GO HERE. We ordered 2 drinks, panko shrimp, and garlic fries. Our fries came and were cold, freezer burned, and hard from being slightly reheated in the microwave. We can tell these fries were not made today or for our order. I tried contacting the store but they have never replied. Hopefully they will reply to the county health inspector about this. read more

This is my first visit to this location of Pengo Drink Station. It's super cute inside! Love the surfer artwork on the walls and the cool penguin made of string when you first walk in. This would be a cool place to meet friends for a drink, they have a table filled with different board games and a decent amount of seating. I like Pengos house special coffee but since it's late in the night I went with a new drink this time, the black sesame milk tea, and I opted for the slush version with mini boba. I really liked this drink, the drink itself tasted more like a green tea? But the black sesame cream on top was a winner, and if I order it again I would ask for extra cream to really taste the delicious unique taste of black sesame.
