I've never been to this Jamba Juice near the traffic circle so I thought it would try it. I'm definitely not returning because they charge about $2.00 extra than other Jamba Juices and they are very skimpy on their ingredients! My Island Pitaya Smoothie Bowl was melted when I got it and didn't have enough fruit and granola as other locations. For starters Jamba juice in Long Beach charges $2.00 more for each smoothie than the same store in Santa Monica. Now I am not sure where that comes from but it is just wrong. Punishing the consumer for the poor business management of the stores in Long Beach isn't right and the customers need to know this to voice their feeling RE price gouging. As far as the service these stores in Long Beach provide is a mixed bag. The store on 2nd street has some really good employee's like the two dudes who like baseball (I can't remember their names?) They are both super friendly, polite and make the best smoothies. We talk about sports, small talk but that is good. Megan is also very good. You can tell these young people representing Jamba juice were raise properly. The store at the traffic circle is another story. It has been open a little over a year. The service you get at this store is poor. Once in awhile if your lucky you'll get someone who doesn't skimp on the ingredients inside the smoothie. Considering they are charging an extra $2.00 from the very same stores up the coast a few miles you would think you'd get an extra special smoothie but that is not the case. The employee's at the store at the traffic circle have been poorly trained and have terrible attitudes. Very rude..... There is one black guy that works there who is super nice and he does make a great smoothie but sadly he never seems to be there when I go. When your over by the traffic circle and want a truly good smoothie go around the corner to "Robucks". You'll get a much better smoothie and the staff are far more pleasant and friendly. Went there this morning about 7:30am. About 5 people waiting for their order and nobody waiting to order. They both (guy and a girl) greeted me when I came in and said that they would be right with me. I didn't know what I wanted so no big deal. About 5 mins go by and I know what I want. Both still working diligently to get these orders out. The guy with curly hair and glasses comes to the register and I kindly ask how long is it going to take since about 5 people were still waiting. He didn't want to give me a ballpark so I said about 15 mins? He said yes about that time. Well, that's just way too long to wait for a juice. Starbucks has a long line and they pump out their drinks in a timely manner. So, a few things I can suggest. 1. Hire another body to help with the morning rush. 2. Set up the place better to make the orders in a timely manner. It seemed messy and they were rushing to that refrigerator, to that freezer to get all ingredients. Maybe an assembly of all the ingredients would be easier to make the juices. Also, the place was extremely warm. Anyways, I have a gift card to use so I'll be back and try again. But this visit was very disappointing and I hope the owner reads their Yelp page to help their sales and process. read more

I have been going to Jamba Juice for a long time now, either by ordering ahead, going straight to the counter, or even for the last few months, ordering through Postmates, when I found out that there was a new Jamba Juice that was closer to my place then Bellflower and Willow or 2nd Street, I was very happy, until today!!! I always order the same thing no matter which location I go to, I've been to the locations above, as well as Downtown Disney, The Grove in LA, Old Ranch in Seal Beach and many others when traveling, and every time I order 1-3 Large Orange Dream Machine's With Lean Balance and 3G Energy Boosts, used to get Whey Protein before I realized that the Lean Balance boost has just 2 grams less Whey Protein but also has lots of other stuff in it that's good for you, so I switched. I also get stuff for my wife when she's home or out with me. To the point, every time I order the same thing, and every time I do, whether going directly to the store, or through Postmates, I HAVE ALWAYS GOT AN EXTRA CUP THEY CALL A 'SUB CUP' WHICH IS THE KIDS CUP, THEY ALWAYS PUT THE LEFTOVER SMOOTHIE THAT DID NOT FIT IN THE LARGE CUP BECAUSE OF THE 2 BOOSTS IN THESE CUPS, I never thought twice about it, and never asked for it, when I started getting 2 Boosts a few months ago, they told me that the smoothie is too big to fit in just a large cup sometimes and there's times when they don't have leftovers, I don't complain about it, because it depends on who makes the drink, as long as when there are leftovers, now that I know this, I do expect it now, especially since I have gone to many locations and have gotten this every time they do have some leftover from making my drink/s. Today when I went in, they had QUITE A LOT LEFTOVER SMOOTHIES LEFT IN THE BLENDERS FROM MY 3 DRINKS, I'd ordered 3 so that I can put 2 in the freezer for later, and I got nothing but terribly pathetic and lame excuses from the entire staff, telling me how they are not allowed to give me the leftovers from the blender, AND INSTEAD I WATCH THEM THROW IT DOWN THE DRAIN, I am still utterly bewildered at how idiotic and ridiculous this was!!! If they were going to throw out what was leftover from not fitting in my cup, what is the big damn deal about giving it to the customer, then I got the worst excuses in the world, 'oh it's store policy' 'our owner doesn't allow us to' 'its only allowed to do that if you order the whey Protein Boost (Remember I said that my boost has almost the same amount of Whey Protein as the actual Whey Boost) and every time I told someone the truth, that EVERY OTHER LOCATION I HAVE BEEN TO EVER HAS DONE THIS PRACTICE, OR TOLD THEM EVEN WHEN THEY MADE EXCUSES ABOUT THE WHEY PROTEIN, I TOLD THEM THAT THE BOOST THAT I ORDERED HAS EXACTLY 75% THE AMOUNT OF WHEY IN IT SO THAT LOGIC IS FLAWED AS WELL, I was disgusted at the amount of waste that they caused, there's was enough leftover smoothie to fill the sub cup up almost, if not all the way ¾ of the way, for EACH smoothie, that's about the same as throwing away a regular sized to almost large smoothie down the drain, all because they were too incompetent to realize that they are wasting product, and making excuses for their lazy business practices, and just flat out waste of food, I really don't care as much about the fact that I didn't get my money's worth, that does annoy me, but to think of the waste, to make it worse, I was in the store a few days prior, just to order 1 that time, and a trainee forgot to do this same thing, and I inquired about it, and her trainer told her yes that's something that we do, so I know that the people on shift today around 5pm were just talking CRAP, if this BS is true I'd change your business practices!!! I trust that the owner is reading this given that you only have 2 reviews so far, and I will raise my review if you contact me personally and professionally explain why your employees are indoctrinated in wasting product and giving terrible customer service, I understand that new establishments have teething problems, so of this could be resolved I'd be happy to be a patron of your establishment once again, otherwise, I'll continue to go further to either Belmont Shore or Bellflower and Willow, I hope you take this opportunity to fix this, if not for my sake but for the sake of knowing that your employees are wasting perfectly good food that customers are paying for and deserve, and more importantly, when so many people are going without these days, to know that you are letting things go down the drain even if it is not a big deal to you, it is to others out there who like to waste less, it just makes good sense either way you think about it, you can contact me on yelp, I can reply to you and give you my phone number, or if you prefer to just talk on here that's fine. read more

I was excited to go this new location of Jamba Juice, as we are regulars at a location slightly further from my house. I always order the same juice and know what quantity I receive at other locations. When I was served less than usual, I inquired about the quantity, and the manager refused to accommodate and said, "well, this is not other Jamba Juice locations." I told him that we would not be returning, and he could not have cared less. What an unfortunate experience at this new location! We will happily go to another location. I recommend you do the same and be treated with respect from a store manager. read more

My experience here at jamba juice on a sunday night was so chill. I had just gotten out of ralphs next door and dealt with a rude cashier who didnt even acknowledge me when i just wanted change then i walked into jamba juice and had the total opposite experience and vibe with the cashier here. His name is Josh D. He greeted me like i was a valued customer, all smiles, a sweet personality, and just super friendly. He was jammin to the music and i love it when employees are having fun or just happy at their job. He suggested for me to try the holiday drinks and explained what each one tasted like which is so helpful for an indecisive person like me. It made the rest of my night better!!! read more
