We also got the raw spicy shrimp and those were delicious as well. Good texture and decent chew to it. We also got the spicy marinated crab bowl which I highly recommend! Mixed with all the ingredients they accompany it with it's perfect for making small bites with the nori. Will definitely come again when we're in town.

As we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by beautiful decor, a clean environment, and a pleasant, fragrant smell that immediately gave us the impression of a well maintained establishment. Since we were a little skeptical about eating raw seafood, we did our research beforehand and decided to visit after seeing the restaurant recommended by @itshelenmelon on Instagram. The food was exceptionally good! We ordered the live uni and spicy marinated crab, which came with a delicious selection of banchan. The uni was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The spicy marinated crab was equally delicious, with no unpleasant or off flavors--everything tasted fresh and high-quality. The crab was very meaty, and every time we squeezed a piece, we got a generous amount of meat from it. As wonderful as the food was, what truly made our experience memorable was our host, Ted. Since this was our first time trying these dishes, we weren't sure how to eat everything or how to combine all the different side dishes to enjoy the meal as intended. Ted patiently and sincerely explained everything to us. He spoke in such a calm and welcoming manner, never made us feel rushed, and made sure we felt completely taken care of. It is rare to receive this kind of thoughtful service at a restaurant--where you genuinely feel that the person helping you cares about your experience. Ted truly deserves recognition for making our first visit so special. Because of the delicious food, incredible freshness, and exceptional hospitality, we highly recommend Han Sun Saeng. We will definitely be coming back, especially because there are still so many other items on the menu we would love to try!

We couldn't really chat because it was so loud. The Caesar salad was probably one of the worst things we had ever eaten. It's not a typical Caesar. The greens were bitter greens. The tuna dish we got was also not good. We don't hardly touch it. The good: the oysters were so good and very fresh. The vinegar sauce they came with was so delicious. The trout dish was the highlight of we scraped the plate clean. It was so good. I would come back just for that dish alone. The dessert was really good as well. I had one of the best dirty martinis I have ever had. It was so delicious and can't beat the happy hour price Overall: I would come back and sit outside. The food ish fresh and there are serval options worth trying. Also everything g was reasonably priced.

an outstanding uni shooter, a well-balanced pasta, but an oyster dish that did not work…read more Miyabi Uni offers a fun and highly specialized uni experience, although the dishes were not equally successful. The Uni Shooter was easily the highlight for me. Since it is consumed in one bite, the flavors arrive almost like a sudden burst. The vinegar-based tosazu sauce hits first with a sharp, energetic acidity. Then the quail egg yolk comes in and softens the vinegar while blending with the creamy uni, making the entire flavor become rounder and more harmonious. The contrast between the initial acidic impact and the gentle richness that follows was extremely well designed. It was memorable and very enjoyable. The Uni Oyster was much less successful. Both the oyster and the fish roe already have strong, assertive flavors. Together, they create an effective duet: the oyster provides the deep briny foundation, while each roe bead bursts and repeatedly adds small waves of salinity and texture. Unfortunately, the uni was too delicate to compete with either of them. Its flavor was almost completely lost. Instead of improving the oyster, the uni felt as though it had been added simply because this is a uni-focused restaurant. In my opinion, the dish would actually have been more coherent without it. The Uni Pasta was good. It was creamy, rich, and full-flavored, with enough uni character to make the dish satisfying. The portion was also very well judged. Rich uni pasta can easily become tiring, but this serving ended at exactly the right moment--just as I was beginning to feel that another few bites might become too heavy. Overall, the Uni Shooter was excellent and worth ordering. The pasta was enjoyable and well portioned. The oyster dish, however, needed better balance because the uni was overwhelmed by the much stronger oyster and roe. A worthwhile destination for uni lovers, but the best dishes are the ones in which the uni is allowed to remain the focus.
