I've given this Jamba soooo many chances and they fail everytime. The actual products are alright, their speed of service is below average but their customer service is the WORST! This morning, my son and I were the only people in the store. I said a friendly hello to the worker and she muttered, "hi." back to us. She acted as if I was bothering her. Also, every time we've come here, the person taking our order always walks away to do something else in the middle of me speaking. Annoying. Mel was stomping around making our drinks like a child who's upset-pouting and slamming things around. It was ridiculous! At that moment, I was going to ask to speak to her manager when I noticed the tag on her hat that said...GENERAL MANAGER! I cannot believe Jamba would allow such a terrible employee to run a store. No wonder the other workers are awful, look at their example. I would say I'll never come back here but I might because it's the closest store to my house. I'll keep hoping to see some improvement. Definitely the worse location- the girl in front made the vanilla blue sky drink for me and overloaded it with bananas. Seemed as if she was new and getting trained- didn't add enough spirulina. I told myself I wouldn't come back here with my bad first experience, but it was on my way home and I was craving a smoothie on this gloomy, rainy Saturday afternoon. This was the second time I have visited since the store opened a couple of months ago and I was surprised with how much of a change the store has gone through. I entered a clean store with all the employees greeting me as I walked in. Mariah was the girl at register. She was very friendly and upbeat. Ben was the guy preparing my drink. He was just as friendly and knowledgeable as he answered my questions about the juice menu and cold-pressed juices (which I will for sure try on my next visit). I just ordered my go to smoothie Aloha Pineapple since I was craving one on this humid afternoon. After I ordered, I took a seat, and less than a minute after I ordered, my drink was brought to me by Ben. I have never been to a Jamba Juice where they hand me my drink personally, so this was a great touch by someone who knows how to provide great customer service. He stood there for a few seconds and asked me how the drink was before returning back to work. The drink was perfect in taste and texture compared to my last visit where it took over 10 minutes to get my watery drink. For everyone who had a bad experience at this store during it's first month of opening, you need to come back and give this place another chance. I'm glad I made the stop here instead of driving out further to another location. I will be back for sure! Keep up the good work at this store! read more

FROM A FORMER JAMBA JUICE EMPLOYEE'S PERSPECTIVE... This STORE SUCKS. There's nothing jamba about this location. Jamba looks for energetic individuals who will lighten people's day up just through their customer service skills....well none of the employees INCLUDING THE MANAGER there does that. The cashier girl with the pink hair (I don't even think that hair color is approved by HR, but anyway) had a shitty attitude. Energy level wasn't there at all. You're a cashier, the first person to greet the customer, at least have a smile on. She looked like she absolutely hated her job. Although I know jamba doesn't like to schedule too many team members during the week due to labor hours and such ...but they literally only had one team member(the cashier) and I'm assuming the manager (dark lady in the manager attire ) who was making all the drinks. The manager should have seen that the store was packed with people and come out of the office and immediately started helping her team member by making those drinks. But no. The tickets were literally over flowing and no sign of immediate help from the back at all. Finally the manager comes out and grabs all the tickets and starts making the drinks....WITH NO SENSE OF URGENCY. Like cmon are you serious??! She had 8 blenders stacked high with tickets on them taking her sweet time making all of them. That type of work ethic would have got me fired at my branch. This place is horrible. And I'm 100% sure that you guys are not living up to the "jamba" standards. read more

WOW!! guess I wasn't the only who felt this way about this Jamba juice. Just like all reviews on here, was super excited about having a jamba right here in Pico Rivera, BUT that happiness went down the drain first time I went there... And I should have never return after the first time, but I did and Second time was EVEN WORST than the first time. I was the only customer and waited 30 mins for my 1 tropical green smoothie that was rushed and not even blended well. I ended up EATING that juice. chewing on the kale and pineapple... took 10 minutes to make my wheatgrass shot and didn't even make my ginger shot fresh.. took it out from the fridge , (leftover??) . regardless, how long does it take to blend a juice? definitely not 30 minutes??!! I was soo annoyed and pissed that I was about to just leave, forget losing out on the money, I already lost 30 minutes of my time. I had my husband and little kids waiting in the car... Another thing worth mentioning.. While it took somewhere between 20-30 minutes to make my juice, other customer started coming in.. and the person STOPPED making my stuff to go take their order? uhh NO, I was already there 20 minutes, you need to finish my juice so I can get the hell out of that nightmare of a place! I filed a complaint about one group of staff members that I encountered a few months ago, and the last time I went back, a few weeks ago, there were all new people there, and they were excellent! I try to come to this Jamba Juice whenever I can, especially when Giovanna is not working because she makes me feel uncomfortable at times, but I haven't seen her lately which gives me more chances to visit the store. I really like this Jamba Juice because not only do I receive fast service but I also get the best tasting smoothies; even when I modify it or try a different smoothie. The employees always welcome me in the store whenever I enter or at the register. Just a great store all around despite the negative comments below. I don't appreciate checking out yelp reviews that I feel are fake. If you are a regular customer at Jamba, then you would know all the employees names (including the "regular girls"). Also, I personally want to know how do people know who the general manager of the store is, unless someone asks an employee? because I only see black shirts and green shirts. This place use to be wonderful. I was a 3 times a day customer and it seems in the last month customer service has been so horrible. Even the manager on duty her name was Jasmine and it was on a Monday afternoon and I order my regular drink that I get all the time and it was horrible it was all chunky not blended well at all. She was supper rude when I let her know that it wasn't blended correctly. So again I went on Tuesday and the regular girls that I have always seen were there and my drink was made perfectly. Went in Wednesday and there was two guys that were making and serving and once again my drink was made wrong. So when I approached the guy making my drink and asked him a question he looked supper confused and I advised him that the drink he was making was wrong he ignored me and gave me the wrong drink. I don't know about the manager jasmine but obviously if she can't display the correct customer service attitude neither can her employees They all need to be trained in making the correct drinks including the manager and also making sure customers leave happy and what they pay for.
