Jamba Juice is one of my favorite places to get a smoothie because they are pretty reliable across all locations. My roommate and I wanted something to snack on quickly before we threw our own housewarming party. When we walked in, everything was pretty standard for a normal Jamba Juice- it was clean, smelled fresh, and bright. Ever since I was a kid, I have ordered a peanut butter moo'd (peanut butter, banana, chocolate milk) almost every time I've been to Jamba Juice. As usual, it was everything I expected. My roommate was hungrier since she missed lunch, but ordered a small peach perfection (peach, mango) and a banana/ peanut butter toast; right now, they're doing a deal where the toast and a small smoothie were around $8.50. The toast looked so great- it had bananas, blueberries, honey, and peanut butter and chia seeds drizzled on the bananas. Our smoothies took a couple of minutes and so did the toast, but everything was out in a timely manner. TLDR: this Jamba Juice is like the others- reliable, clean, and fast! read more

Like my friend who set me up with Yelp said, this place is okay. It wasn't great. It wasn't bad. I always heard great things about it, but whatever. Last Sunday was my first time at this Jamba location. I popped in for my usual 2 oz. wheat grass shot. Same guy who rung me up also handed me my wheat grass. He made "a little too much" and let me have the rest. I'm gladly accept and poured myself a second and a third. Thank you, Jamba Juice guy! You've made my day. How sad, they had 2 people working. Little staff = long wait. Even though they apologized, it sucked waiting 15 minutes to order and then another 15 minutes for my drink to be made! I wish I was able to give this more reviews. The juice here us awesome!!! Walking in I found this store much bigger than the ones I have been in before. The young lady at the register welcomed me asked me how I am and hoped that my day was going well. As normal I get a peach pleasure which is my favorite and I found this absolutely AMAZING. The places near my house the drinks are very watered down and you are barely able to taste the fruit. I have found it to be the best drink I have ever tasted. read more

Their door was unlocked, it was 7:45 am and I thought perhaps they opened at 7:30 AM like the Capitola location. They were very rude and snapped at me,"We're closed! Come back at 8:00 AM". Apparently the opening person was having a bad morning, something about he BF taking her car. I waited in my car until 8 and ordered my drink which took 10 mins to make even though I was the only one in there. Giving 2 stars because my drink was good. read more

This Jamba Juice is always well kept and clean even when busy due to the location (downtown Santa Cruz). I've received nothing but great Customer service. All the workers are extremely friendly and polite. The freshly squeezed juices are delicious! But my all time favorite is the super antioxidant smoothie!! read more

Not really sure about this jamba juice. I've been here a few times and every time it's the same. I get great customer service but im always waiting at least 10 minutes even when theres no one there! Seriously? You guys need to do better. It shouldnt take 10 minutes to make a smoothie. Another thing that really bothers me is that they either make the drinks really short (not filled up even close to the top), really chunky and icy or both. read more

Is it me or are both the two Jamba Juice locations in Santa Cruz sub par compared to other areas? Something about the locations in Santa Cruz is off. Maybe it's their fruit, but drinks that are suppose to be sweet or tart are just tasteless and boring. Honestly if I'm going to pay for lack luster Jamba, I'll stick to the location on Mission. At least the staff there are friendly, fast, and efficient, even if their drinks are equally bland. read more

Not sure which Jamba Juice everyone else has been to. Sure the wait could be shorter, but I can't ask for more friendly, competent service. The staff appears to be working as efficiently as they can, so why fault them for that? You want it faster (and crappier) go get a berry chiller from McDonald's. read more

I dont really go to Jamba Juice that often, but when I do its usually for a lunch break. This place is right around the corner from work and can count as a healthy eat rather than something from 7/11 or something. Shoutout to the girl Mandy who works there, I hope your supervisor is reading this. She is an awesome and upbeat person every time I come in and she's on shift; always brightens me a bit so see someone else so cheery. The rest of the crew is always speedy and clean with orders, even when there is a line. I barely sit down before they're handing me my drink. :) excellent crew and good workers all around. read more

So money minded! You cannot charge for something that's not listed on your menu. GET THE BASICS RIGHT!!! We ordered a large drink and the person behind the counter said they do not offer that size any more, so we resorted to the medium size. According to the menu on the wall, there were two sizes: $6 something for a 16oz and $4 something for a 12oz. That person charged $8 something for the medium drink and when asked he simply said that that was the price for the size we ordered and just that it was not up on the menu. C'mon Jamba Juice, really??? When asked why it was not up there, he was not courteous enough to give an answer back and shrugged me off to get to the other customer. RUDE, UNFRIENDLY, DISCOURTEOUS!! Don't see what all the complaining is about. I always order the acai berry smoothie with the C & zinc boost and it's yummy and refreshing. The staff is friendly, and the wait for me has never been long at all. -edited my review to two stars because I looked up the ingredients and there's sherbet and soy in the smoothie. A milkshake should have sherbet or ice cream, not a smoothie. If I'm ordering a smoothie I'd like to be getting mostly berries, why does everything have to have added sugar? Just why? Also soy is something that I'm sensitive to and it's in multiple ingredients. Lame. read more

I used to get Jamba Juice all the time in NYC, so of course I had to get it on the West Coast too, where it all began. The Pacific St location is great. It was a friday morning, not busy at all. When I came in, I wasn't sure what I should get and a very lovely counter person asked me if I needed help selecting. I asked her if the Light Versions can be made with a soy base instead of dairy because I'm lactose intolerant. She said yes and so I proceeded to get the Mango Mantra. Yummy! Normally I really like the Orange Dream Machine, and I stay away from the berry smoothies because they're usually too tart for me and have juice, not fruit as their first ingredient. I think the problem a lot of people have is that they don't know what they like and get something that sounds good. I like cream popsicles, so I strive for that combo in my smoothies. I loved this place. Good service (please keep it up), good smoothie, and a great location of course. read more

Today, I went to this Jamba Juice with a friend, a man that was working there asked us if we were ready to order, we politely said no not yet, due to the fact that we were waiting for others to accompany us. Then he kicked my friend and I out of this juice bar for waiting for our friends before ordering beverages. I found the whole situation unbelievable, the service is terrible, and I highly recommend not attending this juice bar unless you have the intentions of being kicked out. read more

ahhh!! i ordered a MANGO-A-GO-GO and i got a drink that had strawberries in it!! mango-a-go-go doesnt have any strawberries!!! also the drink didnt taste like anything and they charged me an extra 50 cents because of the orange freeze months ago.. wth? read more

I absolutely LOVE this Jamba. The staff are so friendly and boy do they make a mean smoothie! Their acai is the best of all the mainstream smoothie joints. Service is awful, and sometimes the people behind the counter recognize someone and fix their drinks for them first, cutting you in line. It's a bizarre place. It is the only Jamba juice I wouldn't recommend, usually they're pretty cookie-cutter, but this place is a special kind of weird. read more
