I want to come back and try ALL burrito options no lie!!! This was worth the long wait and value for it. Only took a star off bc the meat was a tad bit salty. The hot sauce is a must with it. Cute brunch spot and will definitely return. Cash only!!
If you get a breakfast burrito in the morning and cut it in thirds, you may have 3 square meals that day. It is huge! The yays: Breakfast burrito is the ultimate start to the day. Fresh and thick. Size matters when it comes to burritos and The Point Market does it right. You have two options, small and large. Can't go wrong either way. Flavorful options but I went with the It's. Ham, bacon, sausage, eggs and potatoes. And pick de gallo on the side. Droool. Location is supreme for views. Don't rush. Enjoy your life and waddle over after your meal to the shore to take in the sights. The nays: cash only so expect to pay an ATM fee if you don't carry cash. There is an ATM inside. And limited parking nearby.
Stopped at The Point for burritos before we headed out of Santa Cruz. Parking is limited, but it's right near the water and the walkway along the coast. Everyone had their dogs, taking a walk. The Point is a small little shop on a corner. They have a small amount of convenience store items and a good amount of food options. Our burritos were huge. I got a small and it was still too much lol. It didn't seem much smaller than the large. The guys working were nice, chill. Food was ready fast, but it wasn't very busy when we dropped in. There's some tables and chairs outside that you can sit at to eat.

It's hard to miss this spot if you're walking along Pleasure Point, even though it's towards the end of the main path, there's always a crowd outside and people across the street eating their burritos. Burritos come in two sizes, small and large. Don't let the word small fool you, because even the smalls are plenty. My boyfriend and i got two larges to share, and we didn't even come close to finishing them, and we're pretty big eaters. We got the Chorizo Burrito with avo and Barrel Burrito. We liked different things about each one, so there wasn't really a clear winner. would probably get either one again, but would get a small. This little market is cash only, though they do have an ATM if you need. Aside from the plethora of breakfast burritos, they also have market staples like chips, beers, NA beverages, and a nice sauce and salsa section. They have a small seating area outside, but there's also a bunch of benches along east cliff for you to stop and enjoy if you want an ocean view.
Such a huge menu for a very tiny corner store. This place is great...order and get your food to go or eat at the little tables out front. Surfing beach across the street if you want to sit and watch the surfers do their thing also. Split the huge Cali Burrito with my wife. Loaded with carne asada, potato wedges, cheese, sour cream, avocado, onions and cilantro...all wrapped it a perfect tortilla!! Guys running the place are friendly and treated us like family. Can't wait for our next trip to the area to try something new!

Just a few steps from the market you get to overlook the beach and watch surfers. Can't get better than that. Parking here is challenging because it's in a residential area. You just need to find a spot in the neighborhood and walk a little. This place is cash only!!! They do have an atm but def bring cash. The barrel: 4/5, the large burrito is big enough to share! My boyfriend wish there was a little more seasoning so I would suggest adding some salt or get extra salsa on the side
Driving up to Santa Cruz to visit Uncle Chuck's house in Capitola, we decided to stop for breakfast burritos. We usually go to the one near The Boardwalk but because this one's close to the house we decided to try this spot out. About a quarter to 9 in the morning, the sky is clear, sun's out, the surf is perfect - an absolutely gorgeous Sunday morning over here. We enter the market, go straight to the ATM because they are Cash Only (please note: CASH ONLY) and order our food. I got the Mexi Burrito (I asked to not add potatoes because for now I can't smh) as a Bowl and added Carne Asada. After a few minutes we got our food and posted at a picnic table to watch the surf and surfers. A perfect day for sure and event more perfect when I sat down, looked at my food and devoured. A lot of flavor and the eggs I personally thought were made to perfection. The Carne Asada was tender and marinated and added the deliciousnesssss to the plate. Food was great, the staff is awesome and the customers from the locals to the out of towners: positive vibes and the surfers walking by, Keep Surfing and keep Jeff Spicoli in your thoughts!!
This adorable market is the perfect spot to drop in and grab a bite and then walk along east cliff looking at the ocean. They have a really cute outdoor seating area. I got the barrel breakfast burrito and it was delicious. Super big portion size and great flavors. The service is phenomenal and everyone was super great. They have lots of drink options including canned Diet Coke
I've been here several times now. Breakfast burritos are hearty and filling. The ones I've eaten on recent trips have been good, not great. Today it was the Cali Breakfast Burrito. Ingredient ratios weren't balanced: very potato heavy. No real flavor either, requiring a heavy dousing of salsa. Last time I had the barrel burrito and felt similarly. At over $20 each, I would hope quality would be up to par with price. That said, I would give them another try when the breakfast burrito craving strikes in Santa Cruz.
Fresh, delicious eats by the beach. I ordered the Baja fish tacos. Super fresh, not fishy, loaded with crunchy shredded lettuce and pico de gallo and sauce. Great with a squirt of lime. My fiancé ordered the rockfish burrito which was massive too! Love the healthier black beans up in there. Service was pretty fast considering it was a one man show. Enjoyed this local spot! read more
Food here is pretty solid. Service is also pleasant and chill. Came by Monday for lunch. Ordered smash burgers, chilaquiles, and a fish taco. Burgers are "mid" according to my kids, but their fries are delicious. The wedges are well seasoned and the potato fries are so good! As some have pointed out, the meat patty here is mediocre, which has more to do with the ingredient quality itself vs the cooking. The chilaquiles were also great, but the black beans were on the edge of possibly going bad? Maybe an off day. And of course, gotta grab some ice cream for dessert! The viral peach ice cream did not disappoint. Reminds you of a Mamba candy or HiChew. Big win! Even the texture was fun. Too dense and firm to be an ice cream but just shy enough from being a gummy, if that makes sense. read more

I'm not sure I understand the hype, if I'm being honest. I was looking forward to trying the breakfast burrito, as I'd heard great things. We arrived, and found that they only accept cash, and the ATM was broken. Not ideal. But for some reason it looks like the online ordering system does work, which was a way we could pay with card. We tried two different burritos, which were very large. The burritos themselves, however, were quite bland and soggy, and filled with mainly potato and refried beans. The tortillas also didn't taste particularly fresh, and just didn't hit for us. Additionally, there was a $2.50 extra charge due to increased price of eggs, but the burrito itself seemed to barely have any egg. I'm hoping we just came at an off day, based on the reputation! But it wasn't a great experience for us. read more

I ordered the "Barrel Burrito" and it was definitely one of the best burritos around! It was huge! It kept me fueled for a 35mi bike ride. The parking is limited so I usually ride my bike. Just be patient and you can find a spot close by. Plenty of seating outside OR across the street @ThePoint to watch the surf (with bathrooms). read more
I'm writing this review for the new location in Scotts Valley. The owner Hassan was working the register, taking orders and talking to everyone with a big smile on his face. The Scotts Valley Facebook has blown up with such positive reviews and I can see why. I got the smash burger and it was cooked to order, juicy and had great toppings and a zesty sauce. The wedge fries were really good too. I have a feeling that this place is going to be booming. Wishing them all the best. I'll definitely be a loyal customer. read more

I ordered the Rockfish burrito (large) and it was huge!! Super filling and great value. Everything tasted fresh, it was wrapped well, and the flavors came together nicely. The worker was also incredibly kind and welcoming, which always makes the experience better. Just a heads up that the place is cash only. The only small thing I'd change is adding a bit more fish, but even with that, I'd absolutely come back to try another burrito. The ambiance is just your average market, a hole in the wall for sure! We stopped in here early in the morning for some breakfast and a sunrise on the beach and am so glad we did! The market is such an interesting place to stop in, with a wall of snacks and drinks, and they serve breakfast burritos, pastries, smoothies, Acia bowls, and coffees. We got a coffee, tea, and two breakfast burritos. Normally we are disappointed with the coffee quality at places like these but the coffee tasted really really good. I was also very impressed at their wide variety of tea selections. They had a bunch of interesting flavors that are hard to find anywhere else. As for the burritos, we ordered two small burritos and they were huge! You definitely get a good portion for the price you pay. Not to mention it was cooked to order, and tasted delicious. They had high quality tortillas, and a good ratio of eggs to the rest of the filling. Every thing tasted amazing and was well balanced, plus we got leftovers for breakfast the next morning. They weren't kidding when they said they had some of the best breakfast burritos in town. There also serve it with three different kinds of salsa which were all super fresh am yummy as well. I also love the locally owned feel here. Just in the twenty minutes we were here, we had a great conversation with some regulars and with the nice man working behind the counter. Everyone here is super friendly and easy to start a conversation with! If you are in the area (or simply don't feel like cooking breakfast or lunch) I recommend coming by here. Seriously the best burritos in Santa Cruz. Great location too bc it is beach side. Do yourself a favor and next surf session, grab yourself a breakfast burrito before you leave! My favorite is the Barrel burrito, but the Cali burrito is also fire! read more
