Yummy ube crinkle cookies. Learned about these from Kohiko Coffee House. This is a lovely filipino cafe. They have food options and baked goods. Need to come back.

I didn't capture the color well. It's homemade ube ice cream! So good!!

I've only had two items here, both sweets. Both very memorable and repeatable. I've repeated them with my mom, and on my own. The halo halo was so good, my mom and I came back again within the week. Something's different. Idk. It's better than home halo halo! Not that my family has made any of it from scratch. Just jars and cans of tropicals from the store. Jambeto's is less of the childhood sweet. More of the adult sweet. Yet, it still has the South Asian influence on the Philippines kind of sweet. The crushed crunchy toasted rice is different too. Is it the ratio? How toasted? What is going on here? It's my favorite place for halo halo.... Then one day, I missed my mom and aunt so much for so long, that I wandered over. I didn't have a pre-plan. Kismet. A literal sign of the in-house ube ice cream. My photos are unworthy. This was deeply delicious. Not the childhood reference either. Beyond it. I have never eaten ice cream so slowly, other than my first straciatella gelato. Each lick and bite, I ask, what is this? Hmmm. So good. It's not cheap, but priced as other places of in-house ice cream. It's a matured magic. Palate wonder.

The food, service and the ambiance. Thank you for preparing my pancit sotanghon. It arrived warm and tasty.

Carrot cupcake, too dense for me.

5 stars! Thank you for staying open during Covid. We all know how difficult these times are for local businesses. Love the Ube ensaymada, freshly made and so flaky. Quite generous with the Ube filling. I always get their pan de sal, always baked to perfection. Their Sylvannas, empanadas, cupcakes and halo halo are the best! Let us continue to support local businesses!

Being an expat from California it is not easy to find good Filipino food. Based on Yelp reviews decided to try Jambeto's. I ordered a party tray of palabok, ensyemada, & a combination of beef and chicken empanada in addition to a questionable Sapin Sapin. Food was good but felt the empanada was a bit doughy and the beef was dry. Palabok was good as well as the ensyemada. But for me the Sapin Sapin was disappointing. Just look at the attached picture and judge for yourself. It tasted bland and had a chalky aftertaste, let alone it did not resemble the traditional Sapin Sapin I am accustomed to. ‍ Overall the food was ok.

Devoured ube bread loaf, the pan de regla's gone, even before we could take a picture

First time to purchase ube bread loaf there, and it was good. Soft and freshly baked, wished there was more ube jam in it. Our lucky day, they just came out with their pan de regla and we bought 2 pcs., loved the bread and the red filling, just a bit sweet yet overall, they were great!

I'm so glad to find this little gem serving some authentic Filipino dishes alongside baked treats. There are a few tables inside for those wanting to dine in but I feel like most people order to go. The case in the front displays all the sweet treats including cake balls, silvanas, flan cake, leche flan, and more. Halo halo is what I need to try next but the buttercream silvana was out of this world! I am a big fan of French macarons but the silvana is in a way quite similar to it, but has its own flair. The crisp and flavorful topping is delicious every bite. The palabok here is generous portioned and amazing as well with large shrimps and the perfect amount of chicharrones layered between the pork crumbles and smooth rice noodles. The squeeze of lemon is not to be forgotten! They also serve wings in a few flavors but I opted for adobo. It is slightly lighter in flavor here and the wings are breaded but nonetheless satisfactory. I am looking forward to trying the lumpia here and I hope even after the drive home they retain a good amount of crispiness. Check in on Yelp to receive one free silvana!

4 stars for the lumpias and halo halo! Lumpias are the Filipino version of egg rolls. Jambeto's lumpias came out piping hot and fresh. Got both pork and beef lumpias and couldn't tell the difference. Loved how crunchy it was. It also came with a tangy sauce which was a nice balance to the fried lumpias. This was also our first time trying halo halo and all I can say is wow! It was delicious!! Reminded me of Vietnamese Che. Prices were reasonable too! Overall, this place is a nice introduction to Filipino food with great, fair prices .

My wife and I brought a dozen beef empanada for $14.50. The empanada tasted ok, but was on the small side for the price. Maybe we will return, maybe not.

My daughter and I came here and I ordered the chicken and shrimp and pancit and the beef lumpia's. Service was fast and the space was accommodating for take out or dine in. The lumpia's were ok, I did not care for the sauce that came with it and I could hardly taste the beef flavor. But the pancit was really good. It tasted almost as good as my daughter's grandmother who is Filipino. I would most definitely return for the pancit and the great service. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.

Average. Pancit with Chicken: 3.5/5 Not anything special but not bad either. Large portion and comes with cabbage, carrots, and green beans. I appreciate that they used chicken breast. A bit on the salty side, but still finished the whole thing. Chicken empenadas: 2.5/5 The filling tastes like ground pot pie and the skin doesn't have much flavor. I liked that it's baked instead of deep fried, but I ordered two and was only able to finish half of one. * shrug * it really wasn't all that. Ube Kalamay: 2.5/5 This is essentially a sticky rice dessert baked with coconut milk. It was just all right. I feel like I've had WAY better baked sticky rice desserts before, including various homemade ones. Booo. It's been 3 days and aside from the first piece I ate, the kalamay is still sitting untouched in the fridge. Mocha Silvanas: 4.5/5 Now this was a winner! Crunchy and chewy macaron shell with a filling that tastes like mocha flavored whipped marshmallow cream, yummmm! I wished I had gotten more. This was awesome! I'm a bit bummed. I love bakeries and was so excited to try this place, but only the silvanas were really worth the trip.

This is what Silvana is suppose to taste/look like. This is sold elsewhere not at Jambetos
    Marc D.

Tried their Sylvanas. Been wanting to try it and finally was not as i expected. It was more of a Macaroon which was disappointing. Also had a weird soapy taste which sadly had to throw away. (But i did find a Sylvana sold elsewhere pictured below.)

    Silvanas- coconut, lemon, and buttercream

We stopped in here to pick up some desserts while we were in Sugar Land. I've only eaten Filipino food a couple of times so I was intrigued. We ordered four silvanas in different flavors. They are somewhat similar to macarons, but with noticeable differences. I thought they were delicious! My favorite was the buttercream. Next time I'll try the pancit.

So we went and it indeed had everything. The longest line was for Grill City. In all honesty, I feel like Grill City is a bit overhyped. The kare kare didn't taste like my father-in-law's. He makes the best kare kare. But you can't beat home cooking. Too bad my FIL is in CA. The liempo was good, but how can you really mess up grilled pork belly? However, I did like Sizzle. Their bangus sisig on a grilled platter was so delicious! I was jealous of my husband's pick. I also really loved the items at Valerio. Reminds me of Panorama City in CA. The Pancit and fried pork belly were my favorites, and I really enjoyed the suka for dipping. They give you plenty of rice, perhaps too much lol After eating, I walked around the store and was impressed by the selection of Asian groceries, fresh fruits and vegetables, seafood, and just about everything you might need, with a strong focus on Filipino brands. There's also a bakery and dessert section with halo-halo (always tempting), plus another vendor selling soups. The food court has a good amount of seating, though it can definitely get busy depending on the day. Overall, a great place to check out if you're looking for something you don't normally see. Glad to have this as part of the local Asian grocery scene alongside places like H Mart, 99 Ranch, and HK Market..

We arrived and honestly it wasn't really somewhere I would normally want to see, knowing I'm about to eat from this establishment; but hey, don't judge a book by its cover, right? They definitely need some external renovations though. NOW LETS TALK FOOD. They actually gave us 2 more Eggrolls than ordered which was really cool. The Eggrolls were actually good and the sauce that it came with was decent. The issue comes in when I get to the house and check to see that the pancit bihon has lo mein noodles in it, including PIECES OF CHICKEN. We're not sure if this is how they make their food, but we do not like this AT ALL. It also was lukewarm (not freshly cooked at all), and we don't even live that far. I feel it's lazy and unprofessional to order one thing and receive a mixture of others. It's really annoying and irritating to the point I'm not going to eat this. Additionally, it has NO FLAVOR. The meal is real INSIPID. AND they're closing in the next 7 minutes so I can't even return to get my $$ back. The prices are good though. I guess I got what I paid for. I would've appreciated paying $10 for the pancits and Eggrolls to get a delicious, hot and accurately prepared meal. My rating...TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK, I will not be ordering anything else from this place. It's unfortunate because we're big on loyalty to businesses that do us right and we like to spend money. However, first impressions are everything, and unfortunately they did not give us a good impression at all.
