In Nooooooooo way shape or form is this Jerk. I ordered jerk chicken dinner (small $9) and received bbq Chicken. Now I know Jerk chicken and I also know jerk sauce. How dare they claim there jerk sauce to be jerk sauce. 1. Jerk sauce doesn't have tomatoes in it it has scotch bonnet peppers garlic spices etc.....Not f***ing bbq sauce. The Neeeerve I'm so pissed that I gave them a chance and wasted my money. On top of it all it tasted like bland baked chicken with bbq sauce but sounded upset when I called to ask about the sauce, the chicken just my whole order. I thought I had the wrong order nope I didn't and had the nerve to say you'll be back before I left yeah back for a refund lol...Uh No!!!.....Garbage Jerk!!!!! Bbq sauce as jerk sauce wooooow!!! The lowest I could give was one star:(.....Just keep driving down to Uppa Yard!!

Does that look professional to you?

Really good jerk chicken egg roll! The jerk chicken platter is also very good with the rice.

Lots of people, particularly in the warm months when high schoolers are hanging out at DQ. This unassuming neighborhood pub is much larger inside, and more popular, than you would expect just driving by. There are tons of tvs showing every possible sporting event and a packed house - I seem to always get the last available table. It has a townie vibe, with the dim lighting, nightly specials, an excellent Friday Fish Fry (with the option of potato pancakes - SO GOOD), and delicious burgers. No Coors on tap here but they have Stella (woohoo!). Despite living near this pub since 2010, I've only recently discovered how good the food was here. Overall, it reminds me of a "grown up" mini BBC (the beloved gone-but-never-forgotten North Ave establishment) with better food. Definitely worth checking out if you are hungry and in the area!

He went early to get our bake on the list and they were spot on with the wait time. We did sit outside which I think sped things up. We all ordered an assortment of coffee beverages. There are so many great options on the menu and I was torn between three. Luckily one of my friends was torn between two of the same ones I was looking at so she split them. The spam omelette was delicious and paired well with the Johnny cakes. The Johnny cakes are massive and we ended up both taking leftovers home of that. The orange blossom syrup was really good with it. Our server was attentive and stayed on top of water refills which was appreciated as it was a warm day to be eating outside. They also have a second location which I am eager to try.

The vegan options were pretty limited compared to last time, but I was able to try the hummus. Unfortunately, I found what appeared to be bacon mixed in with the Brussel sprouts, so I wasn't able to eat that. I didn't see that listed on the menu. Otherwise, I would've chose something else. Loved the smokiness in the hummus and the other roasted veggies. To drink, I had the Eldr Rummer. It was good and I appreciated the presentation of the flame on top. It was exactly the tropical drink you would expect. Ambiance - I like that they kept with modern wood feel with the plants. Very nice mixed in with leather and wooden seating. Service - our server was wonderful! She was holding it down for the entire restaurant.

Everything we had was phenomenal, especially the desserts (we had 2). The tartare was memorable and yummy, though the bread could've been crispier. The burger was phenomenal, truly outstandingly delicious. But the star of the show was the peanut butter pie, I would come back just for the pie! Unfortunately, I found a hair in the bottom of my drink, just as I was enjoying the muddled fruit from my old fashioned. I remain confused by the fact the hair didn't appear to belong to myself or the bartender - how did it get there in the first place? And what if I hadn't taken the time to enjoy the fruit at the bottom of my cup? Though the bartender and another staff person agreed to remove the price of the drink from my tab, perhaps management may benefit from a conversation not only about maintaining high standards and love for the food served, but also in moments where errors (like hair in food) occur, how to go above and beyond rather than doing what I consider to be bare minimum.

My husband and I came in on a whim, and given that it was a Friday night we got very lucky being able to snag two seats at the bar. I love bar seating honestly, especially where bartenders are friendly, as they were. These guys knew what they were doing too, because they wiped up our craft cocktails in a flash. Moxie is kind of known for their martinis, and have a whole section on their menu for them, so naturally that's what I gravitated towards. I can't recall the name of the one I chose, but essentially it was Hendrick Gin, cucumber, and mint. So refreshing. My husband had a bourbon cocktail of sorts and really enjoyed it too. We weren't in the mood for full-dinner so instead shared the short rib medallions from the apps list. Those were tasty! Perfectly cooked braised short rib on top polenta medallions with bourbon-marinated peaches and cambozola cheese... what's not to love? We also had the caesar salad with chicken, which was crispy and hit the spot. Plan to spend a decent amount of $$ dining here, but you get what you pay for. All in all, a nice night!
