Went into James Avery Arboretum on Great Hills to have a cross pendant cleaned and polished from years of being tarnished black. The staff was warm, welcoming and very helpful. Was able to have the pendant cleaned, polished and restored to like new appearance while I waited thanks to the lovely Jocelyn! Would definitely recommend this location hands down! Wish I had taken a before photo to show just how tarnished this piece was and how beautifully they restored it. Thanks Jocelyn. The best!

I frequent this store often because I love adding charms to my bracelet, or even just finding gifts for loved ones. I will say each time, I'm offered assistance, suggestions and great customer service. Today, I was assisted by Janey who I felt was a great sales representative. She made sure to tell me tips on the proper care of my jewelry to keep it shiny. She helped me pick out the perfect gift for my friend, and made sure to put a gift receipt in case my friend didn't love it. She hit every mark, and made me feel like a valued customer. I will say that I have always received friendly service, and I look forward to coming back.

Left charm is original color. Middle and Right are discolored after laser welding.

Fake!! The charms with "enamel" do not seem to be actual jewelry enamel. Customer service (Katie?) said they are "cold processed" but could not tell me what the material actually consisted of. (Jewelry enamel is made of glass.) The woman at the southpark meadows store (Nicole) told me they were "heat treated". Regardless, the colored portion of the charms changed color when jump rings were laser welded by a professional bench jeweler. Enamel does not change color. Two charms had larger jump rings added and are ruined. JA can only offer me 50% off more charms. buyer beware- not quality jewelry.

I have been shopping the Texas iconic jeweler since my summer camp days in junior high! Now I'm back creating a charm bracelet for my Granddaughter. The service is always lovely, just lovely.

I spoke with Ryan, who was very attentive and assured me not to worry, the bracelets would be fixed. I was glad to learn they have an in-house goldsmith who handles all repairs, so this brought me peace of mind. Upon inspection, Raymond told me I should hear back within a day or so with an estimate. Lo and behold, I did receive a call back quickly and approved the repair cost. The repairs were completed within the estimated time frame. However, during the repair process, one of the bracelets (18k gold two-tone) lost a diamond on the top facing side of the link. Not to worry, said Ryan, they would fix it at no charge. I got a call the next day that it was fixed. I walked over, only to discover that now the bracelet was missing another diamond on the inner-facing side of the link. This particular bracelet holds a sentimental value to me due to its design and because it commemorates a milestone memory. Diamonds on the top links and double-sided with an inscription underneath. Each link contains the same inscription underneath with one diamond stone per link. Anyhow, once I pointed out the issue, Ryan assured me they would fix it, at no additional cost. I was expecting a call back perhaps 2-4 days later but to my surprise, I got a call the next day that my bracelet was ready. Upon careful and close inspection, the bracelet was repaired perfectly. The other bracelet (18k white gold) had no issue and was repaired perfectly the first time around. Overall, I was very pleased with Ryan and the staff's exceptional service. Kruger's will now be my go-to place for all repairs, and I will definitely come back as I have my eye on a lovely diamond bracelet.

I decided to order online and pick up at the flagship store so I could check out more pieces and their cafe. Parking isn't the greatest but that's South Congress in general but they do offer valet. I'm big on customer service and I can say my experience here wasn't the best. While the store was slightly busy, workers can be identified in white button ups and blue jeans. Had I not flagged someone down for my pickup, I probably wouldn't have been serviced. There were several employees standing and observing. The store itself is beautiful with pieces on display. They also have different sections for engraving as well as a color bar. From what I read, you can customize your own piece by selecting your metals and gemstones. I was interested but again, no one really cared to assist me so I decided against it. After picking up my order and making it to the car, I decided to check out my earrings. Luckily I did because one of the earrings was actually broken so I decided in that moment to take them back and get another pair. I explained this to the first worker I encountered and she went to get me another pair without a problem. However, the lady assisting me at the register with the exchange (who was the same lady I'd just picked up my order from) actually retrieved pliers and attempted to fix it. After a few moments, I had to tell her that I didn't want this pair fixed but a brand new pair considering I literally just purchased them and didn't have a chance to "break" them myself. After that, she agreed and simply swapped the earrings. The line for the café was long so unfortunately, I was unable to try it. I love the pieces offered and the community partnerships Kendra Scott has but customer service could be better.

We went mid week knowing there was a 15$ discount for non weekend days. Our 1st time with needle piercing. The longest part with a minor in needing documentation of a gov/ state ID. Seriously TX.. it seems like theres more laws around minors getting their ears pierced or gender bathroom drama vs gun ownership.. insane. Not STUDS fault. Nice folks who helped us feel comfortable right from hello, helped us pick out flat back studs for my daughters 2nd piercing. All in was about 170.00ish. $50 per ear then the flat back studs $35ish for each. Pain level 5 out of 10 (10 being worst) with the needle method vs mall gun 8/10 says my middle school daughter who gets very anxious quickly. She said is was just a pinch like getting a flu shot. All in all we'd go back. The piercer was very good with infection control (i work in the medical field). They marked the spot and wasn't rushing when we decided on the optimal spot. Paperwork took longer than the 2, 2nd hole piercings. My daughters eat wasn't red hot like the blunt mall gun post needle procedure. Id go back to get more piercings even with the cost being a lot more than the gun piercing method at the malls. Would be super fun to come with friends to get the ear dazzled and take home a bit o Austin.

I booked my appointment for Saturday, Dec 13 but due to leaving late from home was late. They slotted me in right after the appointment that was originally after mine and it took less than 5 minutes. Anna was a fast whiz!! It was also pretty busy in the morning with groups and friends and couples continuing to check out the earrings on display for sale as well as asking about appointment availability. I'm grateful that they didn't tell me I was *too* late! After my downsize, I was in the mood to get a piece of fashion jewelry (specifically a huggie) for February/March when my first piercing ever (lobe) is ready for it. The girl helping me out recommended a twinkle silver one that she also owns. Plot twist: I came back the next morning (Sunday) after a night of fun knocked out my left piercing. The same girl was working so I laughed about it with her and she said it's not common but also they were willing to fix it/replace the jewelry for free based on their usual warranty. All their piercing jewelry is implant-grade flat black labret. Kels was super patient and accommodating, she knew I was nervous and took the time to assure me that the pain is bearable. They have stress balls if you need it. Pain tolerance varies for everyone, but I was surprised my helix wasn't as painful as I thought. I would compare it to a flu shot! The worse part is placing and tightening the jewelry. After a few months they have a free check up appointment where you can switch your flat black to a shorter post. I had a very positive and fun experience, I might come back again to get a conch or tragus after my helix is completely healed.

Caleesi Designs -- 5 Stars…read more My husband and I were looking for a jeweler to execute a completely custom 15 year anniversary ring with a matching wedding band set -- and after a frustrating experience elsewhere, Caleesi Designs exceeded every expectation. We had originally been working with another local Austin jeweler who pushed back on my design requests and ultimately told me a floating gallery wasn't structurally possible. What I later discovered was that they don't have an in-house bench jeweler and outsource much of their work -- which explains why they couldn't execute what I was envisioning. Caleesi is the complete opposite. Their work is done in house, they set their own diamonds, and they have the genuine craftsmanship to back up their confidence. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was amazing and welcoming -- everyone we interacted with was helpful, warm and genuinely invested in making our experience special. Elizabeth in particular made me feel completely heard from the very first appointment. I came in with inspiration photos, a sourced oval diamond, and a very specific vision -- a floating gallery platinum setting with a hidden halo. What I will never forget is that right there in our first appointment, after I showed her all my inspiration, Elizabeth actually got up and ran to the back to consult with the bench jeweler on staff just to confirm everything was possible before we went any further. That moment told me everything I needed to know about how they operate. No guessing, no empty promises -- just immediate hands-on expertise and transparency. Elizabeth was incredibly patient with me throughout the entire process, never making me feel rushed or like my requests were too much. She helped translate my vision into something even more beautiful than I had imagined, and her artistic eye is evident in every detail of the finished piece. The ring is absolutely stunning. They nailed everything -- the floating gallery, the hidden halo placement, the elegant prong work. I also had Caleesi custom design my 14k gold bubble band wedding ring -- they sourced all the diamonds and executed the entire piece from scratch. The complete set together is beyond anything I could have hoped for. If you want a jeweler who says yes, executes flawlessly, and treats your vision with genuine care and craftsmanship -- Caleesi Designs is your place!
